Joe's Pizzeria is AMAZING!…read more This place is a North Dayton staple for a reason! It's been around for a long time, and the food is still every bit as yummy as you'd hope. We tried the Deluxe pizza and an Italian sub, and both were fantastic. Honestly, Joe's beats Marion's any day in my book! One tip: CALL AHEAD if you're doing carryout because there can be a pretty long wait. Once I got there, though, the service was fast and everyone was super friendly! And honestly, the food is definitely worth the trip and the wait! If you haven't tried Joe's, put it on your list. You won't be disappointed!

If I could, I'd give them ten stars…read more My family and I were recently passing through Fairborn for a family event that we needed catering for and reached out to Veronas to help. Having never been there we just relied on the small amount of yelp reviews and our phone call to the business - which the business owner leaving us feeling very confident in our order and in our decision to go with this place without having tried their food. We were not disappointed. I am unsure why there aren't more yelp reviews here, this place is great. I want everyone to try them. Service is simply impeccable and the family owned business and passion is demonstrated in everything from the ordering process to the actual quality of the food. Now, getting to the food, the portions are quite hearty, food is priced incredibly well. We ordered two types of pasta - the baked ziti and the chicken Alfredo. Both were incredibly fresh and delicious. We ate our leftovers for days and the quality was still great, food still tasted fresh. We got salad and that was just filled with fresh ingredients, it's very rare for a salad to pull you in, but this one just looked so good you had to have some. They gave plenty of dressing too. My last comment is just for the garlic knots. Left us completely speechless.....they were the star of the show. Just absolutely so good, you know they can't be that good if you're trying to keep a diet, but you can't help but want more. This place is not far out of Dayton, I want everyone to know about it! We had a great experience and I wish we lived closer so we could have some more garlic knots more often!!

Being…read morefrom Boston, I have very high expectations when it comes to New York-style pizza, and that location absolutely nailed it, so much so that I didn't mind making the 25 minute drive to get my fix. When they closed, I was thrilled to hear they reopened in Fairborn, especially since it's right where I live. The first time I tried the Fairborn location, it was everything I remembered and loved. Unfortunately, the quality and flavor have slowly gone downhill since then. It just doesn't have that same authentic taste that made me fall in love with Verona's in the first place, which is disappointing because there aren't many great New York-style pizza options in the Dayton area. I really hope they bring back that original consistency and attention to detail, because when Verona's is at its best, it's unbeatable.

We appreciated the sauce to topping ratio, and also that the pizza was not overly greasy.

Following a Sons of the American Revolution meeting at the Dayton Masonic Lodge, we phoned Veli's. Arguably, the very best New York Style Pizza in the suburbs! We are a family-owned pizzeria dedicated to serving the most delicious and authentic pizza & pasta in town. At Veli's, we believe that great food starts with fresh, high-quality ingredients and a passion for culinary excellence. We have experienced the product, and we now have a long list of menu items from Vila's to try. Good eating....
