I had a cheese pizza with pepperoni, sausage and black olives delivered to me from this establishment recently! The pizza arrived quickly in a plain cardboard box. The pizza was good. The cheese, pepperoni, and black olives toppings were good portions. The sausage portions not so much. The crust was very good! It has a nice semi-crusty texture and tastes very good. Overall, I give this pizza four stars. I would order from here again, the value was very good, and I would like to try their other food. read more

The food was fantastic! Most delicious Veal Francese I have had in a long long time. Generous portion of Veal, very tender and the sauce was exploding with lemony goodness. Served over a huge bed of fettuccine. My husband chose the same dish and we were both very satisfied. This is a casual restaurant, not fine dining as far as ambiance, but comfortable and pleasant inside. Table seating. There is a small bar you can sit at too. Service was very attentive and we were checked on frequently by an owner. Sorry I did not catch his name. I was over the moon to see Limoncello cake on the dessert menu. I took a slice home and my husband took home a cannolo. Both were excellent. So glad we finally made it here and I highly recommend this restaurant for your Italian food fix. read more

Stopped for lunch. My bowl of pasta fajoili soup was excellent. My lasagna was also good. You could taste the garlic slightly too. My only recommendation is serve the soup with a soup spoon not a tea spoon. read more

Dinners come with a side salad which is the typical iceberg lettuce with tomato and onion. Only two dressing options which are ranch / Italian. My dinner was fair; spaghetti and meatballs. Nice relaxing place to eat. I love the peaceful music they have playing. The have 11 tables and one big tables to sit down at and enjoy your food. Some tables are 4 person while others are 6 person tables. They have a nice bar as well. I had to try this place. I always heard great reviews on the food. This place rules. The food was so delicious and portions were generous. We ordered cheese ravioli, baked ziti, and cannoli. Our first time. My understanding is mom and son own. Appears to family run. Used to be Palermo's GO! Food is GREAT. The son and sister greeted us. So kind and grateful for our patronage. Brett's salad was a crispy leafy salad with onion and tomato. The Italian dressing is perfection. He had the chicken marsala. Enough food for 2 people. Generous portion!! Sauce full of flavor. Chicken was tender. Noodles PERFECT!! I had the pizza. Crust great. The sauce....WOW! Robust and deeeeeelicious!! Veggies were fresh and great. Generous amount of veggies and cheese. I don't leave reviews unless they are really bad. This place had decent food but if you're going to dine in you'd be better off ordering door dash to your table. We waited an extreme amount of time for our food while 10+door dasher came and left. People next to us sat atleast 20 min after we ordered got their food before us. As well as another table. We ordered pizza, calzone, chicken alfredo (watery sauce barf) and lasagna. If the food would have been amazing the wait would have been ok but seriously over an hour after we ordered. Our group of 12, (approximately) were seated in this tiny, but sufficiently staffed Italian restaurant with ample nearby parking, and upon entering my biggest and only complaint is that it was entirely too cold & after asking for the heat to be turned up, it was still cold. But the food was absolutely delicious and super hot, filled with all the flavors one would expect in a meat lasagna. One order was delivered after we had all eaten (go figure,) but at a guest's request, it was free. Big deal! I still think they deserve 5 stars because it was very delicious & I'd definitely return but only if they have heat! read more

Demnika's was always our favorite go to Italian Restaurant. We stopped in for lunch last week as we were craving Italian. Ordered the Meatball and Sausage appetizer combo and the Lasagna. Meatballs were a little spicy last time we were in and seemed even more spicy this visit. I used to love the meatballs but not a favorite anymore. The lasagna portion was smaller then the norm on our many previous visits and also just did not taste the same. Garlic Knots also were not the same, almost seemed stale with little garlic. We were told they had a new Chef from Florida. I was quite disappointed this visit. read more

The service is so good at this restaurant combined with the food that I really want to give it a five star review. Every dish I've had is been very good and the service is fast and efficient, professional, friendly everything you would want. The ambience is nice and they have a pretty cool outdoor dining area . The reason I can't give it five stars? I want more food choices. They have pasta dishes covered well, and of course pizza but I would like more meat or fish dishes. Certainly that's a personal preference, but this is my personal review. If when you go into an Italian restaurant, you typically get some pasta dishes, maybe some wine and wanna have a nice relaxing evening. They are five stars for sure. read more

My husband and I have been looking for that small, local restaurant that provides us with a quality, tasty Italian meal. Demnika's is all of that. We stopped for lunch on a Tuesday. The restaurant was almost empty. I hope they are getting bigger dinner crowds because this restaurant deserves some attention. We ordered the meatball/sausage appetizer, the antipasto salad, meat lasagna and baked ziti. Our server was new, but she did her best and we have no complaints. We ordered the meatball/sausage appetizer on the advice of another Yelp review. To be honest, I did not like the meatball. I felt it was dry and didn't have quite the right taste. Did I mention I'm Sicilian? I know my meatballs. However, the sausage and the tomato sauce more than made up for the meatball. The antipasto salad was also good. I loved how the meats were rolled up inside of each other. The dressing was perfect but I would have preferred that it come in something besides a plastic container. Also, my husband found the tomato end in his part of the salad. That's a no-no in my book. Next came our entrees. I had the meat lasagna. The portion was huge! It also came with two garlic buns. Next time, I will ask to have the garlic buns with my salad as I prefer it that way. The lasagna was delicious. I had to force myself to stop eating because it was so tasty but I knew I had already eaten more than enough. My husband had the baked ziti and it too was delicious and a very generous portion, so much so that we had leftovers the next day. I couldn't resist getting a cannoli for take-out dessert. It too was delicious but a bit expensive. Also, the cream did not reach entirely to the center of the cannoli. I gave this restaurant 5 stars as it outshines any other Italian restaurants I have tried in the area. I hope they can keep improving and serving that delicious food. My wife and I and our grandson visited Dayton from SE Ohio and needed a restaurant for dinner. We are accustomed to looking for gems on Yelp and we sure found one at Demnika's. Turns out this is owned by an Albanian family but they sure can cook Italian! Our meals were superb, particularly the special 4 Pasta dinner. We had nice chats with both the co-owner and his sister--they were very friendly. Their mom and brother worked the kitchen, so this is a small, family-owned business with all hands on deck. Just what we love to support. I've bookmarked Demnika's for our next Dayton trip! read more

Food was not warm and tested at 125 degrees F which is well below the 165 degrees F mandated by the Ohio Department of Health Food Code Reference Guide greatly compromising the health of immuno repressed individuals of which there were five in our party of eight. Everything was decent but not great, including the service. The garlic knots seemed to be pre-baked then warmed. I think this is the case because our knots were room temp in the middle. This isn't a huge deal but I expected more considering they are charging about 8 bucks for those bits of dough. We ordered: Knots Pepperoni pizza Chicken parmigiana Tiramisu. The bill came to about $50. It seemed pretty steep for the quality. In the future I will probably go to Figlio and spend about the same money at higher quality. read more

I just arrived to town today for a short visit. Was hungry after a day of travels and am so glad to have found Demnika's! I ate the Eggplant Parmesan with a Greek side salad and it was AMAZING!! The sauce had a perfect homemade consistency, the eggplant was cooked just right and I really enjoyed my conversation with the family that owns the restaurant.
