I've been to the Jet's Pizza off of Indian Ripple Road but I've never been to this one. Last time I went to Jet's Pizza I just ordered a regular round pizza. However, this time I ordered their 4-Corner Detroit-style pizza. If you haven't had Detroit-style pizza, it's a thick dough pizza baked in a square pan. It's not Chicago deep dish nor tavern-style where it's cut into small squares and is thin crust. This is cut into squares, but they are big squares with thick crust. I got my pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, black olives, and hamburger. 4-squares might not seem like much but these squares are huge. The 4-square could easily serve two people as the slices are filling. The pizza was delicious and the corners very crunchy. I highly recommend if you like a good Detroit-style pizza. Detroit-style pizza isn't for everyone but it is worth trying if you've never had it before. Jet's Pizza has numerous promotions, so I recommend checking their promotions out before ordering. It's really good "Detroit style" pizza - what more can I say? Tried both the cheese and pepperoni. Both done beautiful. The dough is awesome. The sauce is especially very good. Cheese was great as well but perhaps it's the one area where, if improved, would make this a top detroit style I've ever had. If you're in the area, give it a go! Pizza was good: crust was a nice combo of puffy and chewy. Sauce was tasty and perfect amount of toppings. Stars are taken off because the salad's veggies were wilted with browned edges and smelled SO strongly of red onion. Discovered a bunch of chopped red onions UNDER crumbles of feta cheese (these toppings should be packed separately in a container bc once they're sprinkled on the salad and left for longer than a day, they look old and wrinkled and smell). I could also tell it was an old salad because the feta crumbles were all melted together, not distinct crumbles. Recommend the pizza but not the salad. read more

First time trying Jets tonight. I can't believe we waited so long! Best pizza EVER! We have always been a fan of Pizza Hut because we like their pan pizza, it's good, inexpensive, and they deliver. Being a creature of habit, once I find something I like I pretty much stick with it. For some reason I decided to try something new tonight and I'm so glad I did. We ordered the Buffalo Chicken with the Detroit style crust. I like that you can select "well done" when placing an online order because I like a crispy crust. This was a thick crust that had a great crunch. The buffalo sauce is not super spicy, but had enough kick to give it great flavor with just the right amount of cheese, red onion, and chicken. I think they have really tasty pizza with a great crust! We got a veggie deep dish pizza on a Saturday night. Now if you're from Chicago or are familiar with Chicago deep dish...this ain't it. There's more crust and the 4 inches of cheese are missing. But I am not fan of all that cheese so I really like this one. I love Jet's Pizza. I'm used to pizza from Michigan, with a thick crust and caramelized cheese at the edges. There aren't many places that serve pizza like that in Ohio, so I was thrilled to discover Jet's. The only real problem with Jet's is that their prices are fairly high. It's also irritating that they mail coupons to me constantly, that aren't actually coupons. There is no discount to speak of; they're simply advertisements for pizzas at regular price. Additionally, every pizza other than their deep dish pizza is at best unremarkable and at worst pretty blah. Their regular crusts just don't cut it compared to the other pizza places locally. Get the deep dish or 8 corner pizza and get the turbo crust 'flavorize' option. I've always received good service at this location, though keep in mind this isn't a sit down restaurant at all. There's a bench for waiting customers but no tables inside or out. read more

My husband and I got a coupon in the mail to try this place. We ordered the pizza, breadsticks and beverage. I explained to the person taking the order what coupon we had and he said no issue. When my husband brought the pizza home it was a smaller square pizza than the round one that was shown on the mailer. We called up to the restaurant and let the manager know the mix up. He said that all the pizzas come in both options but most people want the square one. I told him that I explained the coupon on the phone, and we really wanted the other pizza. I told him I'd bring it back so they could remake the pizza that we ordered. He said that they really don't do that, and that I should make sure I define exactly what I am ordering next. I let him know that maybe the order taker should ask for clarification since they know that all pizzas come in both. He said that he could give me a $5 credit on my next order. I fell in love with Jets in Chicago, and couldn't believe we had them here when I moved back. I'm not usually a fan of deep dish (too much bread), but oh man that turbo crust. The Eugene is my favorite. BUT this place gets all the stars for customer service, which is the most important thing to me. I couldn't figure out how to get cheese on only half the pizza while ordering online, so I called the store. I told the employee who answered, Josh, that it is important because my boyfriend is allergic and will break out in hives if he eats cheese. He listened, updated the order, then let me know he was applying some coupons to save me an extra $5. THEN he called back a few minutes later to make sure I was aware that there is romano cheese in the turbo crust, because he didn't want to send my bf into anaphalactic shock. I assured him that it's a negligible amount of a cheese that doesn't seem to bother him that much, and he's willing to risk it for pizza this good (he almost broke down and ate the mozzarella-covered piece I bought a while back, it's that good). This is why Josh is a fantastic employee: He answered the phone in a friendly tone, and easily recognized my order when I called. He is paying attention to the orders coming in, and keeping track of them mentally. He's probably not being paid enough to care this much, but he's doing it. He put effort and consideration into my order, going so far as to call me about it. Customers can be entitled pricks and often treat service workers like dirt to boost their own egos, so he was really putting himself out there when he did this. I use to love this place...but over the last 12 months the service has really went down hill. They have screwed up my order two out of the last three orders. I spoke to some kid, manger "Sam" about my order being screwed up and taking over 75 minutes to correct and deliver. He had a care free attitude about the issue. There are few times in life or at least you hope theres only a few times in your life that you can't get the food you just ate off your mind because you're so grossed out from hoping the curly body hair, (yes I said body hair) you just found in your food isn't from, you know where...yuk! I knew there was a good reason for not ordering pizza from... and I use the term losely, "a restaurant" staffed by a bunch of pimpley faced teenagers who handle everything including themselves as they reach into the cheese and other toppings with their bare hands and then apply it to the food your about to put in your mouth ...yum! And who knows what else kids will do around all that food when no one's around and there goofing off. This is what happened to us and when I called the store to advise the manager, I was told I'd get a refund only if I returned the pizza or they came and got it. Too late, I threw it in the garbage already. I don't need their pizza, their body hair, their poor service or their attitude when instead I need help, understanding and resoluion. There are plenty of better tasting, less greasy, and better quality restaurants in town that I can get pizza without paying extra for the extra grease, attitude and body hair. From now on its real restaurants with real kitchens, real chefs, and real adult managers that cook, serve and manage the place on site as a real career. And its not like Jets charges less. Ordered the eight corner, which is usually awesome. We asked for the butter and garlic crust. The pizza was bland, except for the garlic salt ALL OVER the pizza. We couldn't taste the toppings and now we are both sick to our stomachs. So gross. And after our generous tip, this was a $30 pizza. We will either get a refund, or we will never order from there again. And I'm not talking coupons.
