The food was delicious. The service was quick. The ambience was quick fast food. There was tons of tables to sit at. I got the three entrees with side of rice. The bigger plate for $11.30... included 3 entrees but unfortunately I guess the honey walnut shrimp, and firecracker shrimp was not included however there was no posting saying there was a up charge! They charged me an additional $1.50 for each of those sides. So a total of $3 more. There should be a sign saying there is a up charge for $1.50 for each! read more

For the amount of money we spend, I expect to have more than 3 bites in a damn bowl. I order inside since the drive thru is not organized. First of all a girl with glasses yelled at me when I ask if a certain food was hot, as it looked as if it had been sitting there most of the day. She got really angry at me saying its hot, I said can I test it. Which made her angrier, she then got another staff member to let me sample it, to which it was cold. Like I though. Then at the register a boy over charged me and I told him and showed him how he did, he also got angry cause he had to get my correct change back. What I don't get is why do these young people expect a pay raise when they don't even want to work to begin with, and also their food here at this location in Kettering is always luke warm to cold, that to me is worse than Buffet food. I have had Panda Express before in California. I didn't like it then, and I don't like it now. There is very little to select that isn't fried and covered in sauce. I went with the teriyaki chicken breast, which they cut up to put on the rice. But when I say cut up, I mean they run the knife over it roughly. And considering they don't offer knives, you end up with huge chunks to try and cut in a tiny bowl. Everyone else at my table commented about how dry everything was. But not a surprise since it's sitting out. The price isn't great for how little you get (not that I wanted more). I would suggest if you want Chinese food that is over Americanized, just go to China cottage or any other place in the area. read more

So my co worker raves about this place and tonight I finally decided to try it. So I pull through the drive thru and order a bowl of black pepper chicken and get the side of greens. Upon arriving home, I pull out two boxes, one decent size and the other was small. Naturally, I open the big box first and to my dismay see it is the greens. I then open the box (that looks like it is made for rice) to find my chicken. So, let me get this straight... The "entree" box is smaller than the "side" box. The box the greens came in was about three times the size of the entree. What a (expletive) joke. For same price, I could've gotten a "bowl" from Chipotle and had WAY MORE FOOD. I will say the food I did have was warm and tasted very good. But I'm a grown ass man and charging me that much money for 6 bites of chicken is criminal. I recommend management have employees wear ski masks if you're going to continue charge those prices for such little portions. What a shame. Seems like they have a good reputation everywhere else. This was my first experience with the Panda Express chain. Overall very satisfied with this new location in Dayton. Clean and inviting atmosphere with ample seating and a drive-thru if you are in a big hurry. The counter was set up almost buffet style were you can walk down a line and point to the items you want for the counter worker to serve for you. I got a plate (2 entrees, 1 side) of orange chicken, chow mein, and fried rice. The chow mein was dry and probably not something I'll get again, but the orange chicken (which the server told me they are best known for) was delicious! Perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crispiness and great flavor. I also opted for the veggie spring rolls; they didn't taste like they were cooked all the way through and I stopped after 1 bite of 2 rolls that can in the order. Comparable to your stereotypical mall fast food Chinese places. Fine for a quick and relatively inexpensive meal. read more

I love Panda Express and I go at least twice a week they know me, I'm a loyal customer etc. I went there about 20-25 minutes before closing I was expecting for this to be a normal panda express trip but oh boy was I wrong. Before I could even order the person on the speaker told me she only has orange chicken and doesn't want to make anything else. there, honey sesame chicken is my favorite and she wouldn't make it for no reason. even though she said she only had the orange chicken I still took it. I ordered two plates and one bowl. Whenever she reviewed my order, she said one plate and two bowls. No biggie must've been a misunderstanding then I correct her. tell her it was two plates in one bowl. then she proceeds to say 1 plates, and 2 bowl again. I tell her no I would like to plates and one bowl. She admits that she only has enough to make bowls. So after that I really just wanted to get home so I take the bowls tell her that's fine. So when she handed me the bag I figured everything was in it, because the bag had clear volume. When I got home I had one bowl of chow mein. one tiny red container of orange chicken. and an empty container. as I was pulling away, she had the audacity to flick me off. When I once was never rude to her and didn't get mad when she lied about what she had left when she should've just made what I ordered because they weren't closed yet .I can't believe what I experienced tonight. Food was ordered ahead of time, got to the restaurant to pickup and it wasn't ready yet, waited for over 30 some minutes and only to get a text message while there saying that it was finally ready after the given pickup/ready time. Don't recommend this location or ordering online for this location either. No compensation was even offered. Not worth the waste of gas to go to the restaurant.
