I went to Panda Express two days ago after I left Costco. I tried this restaurant soon after it was opened and I was not impressed. This last experience made me very happy and I will definitely be a return customer! I saved my receipt and of course now I can't find it but I wish I could give credit to the young man who took care of me. I believe his name was Jacob but I'm not 100% sure. As custom at panda express I was offered to sample different options available. It was towards the end of the evening and there was an hour left for them to be open. Many of the options were almost gone and this young man offered to make me something fresh. The meal I chose was delicious and the friendly attitude from all of the workers that evening blew me away. I've eaten this food before at Kings Island. Honestly thought it was dead average there. But we did decide to go to this location and try it out... #1) The Food: Well, as we got in line many of the choices were empty, so it was Orange Chicken and fried rice with Egg Rolls and those Shrimp cream cheese fried things. The food ain't bad, but certainly not spectacular. A Chinese buffet is such a better deal, and surprisingly the price is about the same. That's a real issue, we paid about 9 bucks a head with tax with drinks + our son's Kids meal additionally. Our son is 6 and well, he only liked the fortune cookie and the chocolate chip cookie that came with the meal. He didn't like orange chicken, they didn't have General Tso's (not sure if it's even an option), which he does like generally. But many of the bowls were empty when got there at 6:00 at night... We didn't ask for it, they move you along, so rather than hold up the line we just took orange chicken of what was in the bowls. I believe 3 other options were empty. The wife said she won't be back because the food was average for the price, I feel the same. Again the food is OK, General Tso's if they had it probably would be better than the Orange chicken. Honestly I am a once every 6 months Chinese food eater, so my food taste review my be slightly slanted downward since it's not my favorite cuisine. The store was clean and the people were friendly, especially the guy spot sweeping and taking out trash. Helpful tip for Panda Express: Might want to at least have Fox News on one of your 2 TVs along with CNN to be fair politically or better yet, just have sports on exclusively. Came here for lunch on a Sunday around 1, fairly busy, party of 4 and we staked out a table before ordering because seating was scarce. Took about 15 min to get up to the counter to start getting the food. Food itself is just like any panda, good. It was nice and hot. Place was relatively clean, could have used a bit more cleaning on the tables. Bathrooms were clean. Overall not too bad for a Panda Express. Do not order at Panda online for delivery. They use DoorDash and I spent 49.19 on a family meal and DoorDash delivered a small bottle of coke and a single serving of orange chicken with someone else's name on it. When I called Panda they hung up on me and I had to call back several times and Panda said there was nothing they could do. Even though I ordered on their Panda page and I did not choose DoorDash delivery they chose DoorDash to deliver it. After calling them back Panda said I had to speak to Door Dash and after texting back and forth with DoorDash they finally said they would refund my credit card in 7 days. Still no food for the family. I paid Panda why would they not honor what I paid for me to get my family meal - they blamed DoorDash but I blame Panda. If they can not trust delivery services like Door Dash to delivery the food then don't offer delivery !!!! But not offering to correct this situation for me to get the meal I already paid for is unacceptable and I will never order from Panda again! read more

This is the third time I have been to this Panda Express, the people who work here are rude, incompetent and lazy. There is never anyone there and it always take 10 minutes to go through the drive thru, the food containers are half filled and they don't give you correct items or sauces. When you contact the the store they do not contact you back or try to make a signal thing right, you would think a place that serves over prices McDonald's style Chinese food would at least try to make there customers happy. We enjoy coming for lunch; the service is friendly and the food is good. However, getting drive thru later in the evening is consistently frustrating; if it's within 45 minutes of closing time there is a very good chance they have stopped making food and are just serving whatever is left on the steam table. Tonight I rolled up just after 9:00 (the store closes at 9:30) to order orange chicken and mixed veggies, only to find that they were out of both. It's been this way for a long time... we'll keep coming for lunch, but we're probably going to start going elsewhere for late-night Chinese. read more

This is a review for the Panda Express in front of Costco, and Cabelas. I had noticed they were building this PE a few weeks back, and we finally went in today to eat at our favorite Chinese fast food place. What a disappointment!!!! The staff was slow and clueless. ALL the food was room temperature which probably means the warmers were not on the right temp,or not on at all! The chicken and string beans I ordered was under cooked and over cooked at the same time! I don't know how they managed that, but they did. The chicken was goopy, and the string beans were brown. Their internet was slow so the credit card machine was taking a long time to process, which isn't their fault but no one seemed to care to fix the issue. Their sauces(teriyaki and sweet and sour) were starting to solidify and looked lumpy! No one cared to cook food to place the empty dishes up front. This place needs new management and people who care to make their food great, because unlike most fast food places, who use microwaves for everything, they actually use woks and the stove to cook their food! I love this Panda Express. Great food usually. HOWEVER. Every time (and I mean every single time) I ask for sauce with my Rangoons it is never in the bag. It is now a ritual to go inside after going through the drive through to get some. On our latest online order I put in the special instructions to please include the sauce, still no sauce. I LOVE PANDA EXPRESS. My food here is consistently delicious. The service is nice and quick. The price is affordable, we can get out of there for less than $15 for two people. I get the teriyaki chicken which is one of their lite meals. Despite being lite it is incredibly delicious. The chicken is cooked perfectly and the sauce is delicious. Definitely love this place. My son and I went here yesterday afternoon. It was hard to get waited on because 2 of the employees were too busy talking to each other on their headsets, that they barely noticed us. None of the food was hot or fresh. The cheese rangoons were chewy and cold. I didn't have high expectations, but even my low expectations were not met. Will never go back. read more

Drive thru ordered two miniature entrees for TMOBILE Tuesdays. Didn't know they were approx 1/2 cup of chicken and veggies. Tmobile misadvertised the size of the entree. Not Panda Express's fault. However took 14 minutes to receive our freebies in the drive thru. My daughter and I ate here the other night. It was truly amazing!!! We sampled several entrees and they were all delicious. My favorites were honey walnut shrimp and mushroom chicken. Fried rice was hot and fresh. You can see them cooking food in the woks. Staff was very friendly and patient. They made suggestions as well. The restaurant was spotless. Definitely will be back. Panda Express is the McDonald's of Chinese food. If you've had it anywhere else around Ohio or Indiana, it's exactly the same quality and experience as any other location. I always get orange chicken. Since it's their signature item, it's always readily available. Anything else runs the risk of being out, which will give you a ten minute wait while they make more. Luckily, that's not me. It's not fancy. Sometimes I just get a craving for that delicious orange sauce & when I do, this place is perfectly adequate. read more

For lunch, I tried Panda Express for the first time today. No question the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Truly awful, dry garbage. My wife and I got a carryout of the "plate" option. We tried several items, including the normally hard to mess up teriyaki chicken. The chicken, which was not as the picture described (sliced chicken breast, instead small odd chicken pieces) was incredibly dry and flavorless. The noodles were also dry and flavorless... Actually everything was dry and lacking in flavor. The food had the quality of a microwave/frozen Chinese dish that had been reheated several times. I have been there 4 times in the last month and it is still the same issues. 1. out of food...too many people are waiting on their order. this store at.. 5381 Cornerstone N Blvd, Dayton, OH 45440 in Centerville. I finally asked the manager trainee why this store cannot keep up with demand. It is not like the store is crowded. When you see a dish running out...start cooking. You would think this would be easy but not when people are not up front watching and reacting 2. I have had to wipe down my own table and seat...both trash cans are over flowing and the drink area is nasty too often. 3. Employees engaged in too much private conversation which can be heard through out the unit. 4. Food is lukewarm too often This type of food unit does not seem to be too difficult to run.
