I have seen this restaurant a few times on the way home, but I have never tried it. So I placed a DoorDash order. I ordered the Taco trio platter with three soft tacos with ground beef, sour cream, lettuce, onions, and cheese. There are a variety of sauces you can add to the tacos. I added the barbecue sauce but they have several other options (spicy and non-spicy). I also made it a combo meal with an upgrade of curly fries and a drink. The drinks are your standard Pepsi products but they are not fountain drinks. They give you a soda bottle. The soft tacos were really good, ingredients seemed fresh and the taco fillings were generous. I did not see any sour cream included though so they forgot to add that as requested. The curly fries were seasoned well but no condiments were included, so if you like ketchup with your fries you'll have to add your own. Ordering was easy and my order was filled quick and delivered around the promised time. The bag the order was placed in had a tamper seal. This is substantially better than most Mexican burrito/taco chain restaurants. I recommend. However, I would only give 3 1/2 stars because I believe ketchup should've been included with the fries and because my tacos didn't come with the requested sour cream. read more

My favorite make your own place, i love a crispy chicken burrito made just the way I like it. The queso is top notch and the various salsas/sauces make this stop a plethora of options. I'm not sure about everybody else but man was this place good. They had so many different options to choose from and I ended up going with the General Tso's Crispy Chicken Burrito. I will say it was more rice than I would have liked but still very enjoyable. And the size of the burritos are massive. I'm a pretty big dude and I had to save some for later because it was that stuffed. Now on to the dining room. I don't know about you guys but interior is everything to me and the lime green just fits the aesthetic so well. Everything was clean and calming staff welcoming and friendly. My friend ordered food for me from Bubbakoo's, I've never had it before and I was feeling really infuriated throughout the day, so my friend decided to get me something to cheer me up. What caught my eye with Bubbakoo's food was the interesting flavor profiles and interesting menu. I order the Crispy Nashville Hot Chicken burrito, Burritodilla, and the Taco Trio. I had thought the Nashville Hot sauce would be the Nashville Hot Honey sauce, but it was the original Nashville Hot sauce. The flavor took me out of the fantasy, the burrito--although quite hefty was meh, I didn't see any options on the "killer creation" list to add a sauce to this burrito or to at least have another sauce as a side. If they had allowed the option, it would've given the burrito a little more oompf, the only sauce that they had was queso and sour cream. I didn't get the queso because I assumed it was the Nashville Hot Honey, and I didn't think queso would mesh well with that, but even still, if there was queso on it I doubt it would've contributed much. The chicken wasn't crispy as advertised on their menu, I figured it was because they added a lot of sauce to the burrito and it was a 35 minute drive to my place, but for me there wasn't enough sauce inside the burrito to warrant the breading on the chicken to be so mushy. The second item I ordered was the Burritodilla, this thing is friggin' tasty, they seasoned the chicken very well and it has a lot of cheese, the only thing that took me off guard is that the chicken is dry, but the upside is that it's soft. Last item on my menu is the Taco Trio, and these too are meh, that's because the ground beef is not seasoned well enough and they put way more rice than they did beef. Plus there wasn't that much corn salsa on either of my tacos, I had thought they would've balanced the ration of the filling. But this is my first time ordering from Bubbakoo's, so I didn't really know what to expect. I will most definitely order the Burritodilla again but one item is not enough to keep me as a customer when my other items were so meh. As for service my Door Dasher; Robin was AMAZING, he arrived at my house quickly despite having to travel from Sugarcreek to Xenia! Well done, Robin!! read more

Hibachi steak and shrimp burrito was $16. Less than half the size of a $10 chipotle burrito. 4 shrimp and like 6 tiny pieces of steak. Most of it was filled with white rice and there was very little sauce in one end of the burrito. It didn't taste like hibachi at all. Had high hopes. Cleanliness of the kitchen is questionable. The concept is similar to a Chipotle with the customising in the same topping selection Chipotle offers such as rice, beans etc. The area is much more dirty than what you'll see at Chipotle. Now for how the food is? Quality could be better. The flavour was overall bland and tasted kind of weird. I ordered the steak & shrimp hibachi burrito and as I picked out the toppings I opted for the mango-habanero salsa. I also added guac which didn't look so fresh. Guac was squirted out of a bag and the guac looked kinda old as it was brown. $$$ my burrito was $16.50. Overall this place is a little more than Chipotle. Food quality is better at Chipotle and portions are also a bit more at Chipotle. The chicken was dry and not cooked on site. The rice was dry and chewy. Same with the toppings. Being new, the manager was circulating asking how the food was. I gave him some feedback and he said it's supposed to be that way. I did not finish the meal. Again, not awful but not worth coming back to compared to Hotheads or Chipotle. read more

We found this restaurant in a search of nearby places. My husband and I walked in and were greeted by very friendly staff who took time to explain menu items. It is very similar to Chipotle but there are differences. My husband got a chimiwawa and I got a burritodilla. The food was very tasty. The portions were well sized. Very simply reason for why I do not recommend this place. I went in for lunch as usual and the workers were nice, as usual. However, during the process of putting my order together, One of the workers sneezed. Sneezing happens, but covering to prevent the spreading the germs goes a long way. The worker then proceeded to go behind the double doors, blow her nose into a napkin, then wiped the remaining snot from her nose with her bare hands. You can see all of this through the window of the double doors. Following all of this, the worker proceeds back to the line, by-passing the wash station and putting on gloves; Grabbing those same gloves with the hands she just used to blow her nose and wipe the excess snot with the bare hands. Seeing things like this makes me question the integrity of the employees food safety technique. Due to the wide spread of contact, and airborne illnesses occurring more often than before, this was very unsanitary and unsafe. With that being said, I hope this establishment can provide the needed training to its employees. read more

My daughter and I were excited to try this restaurant tonight because she has a friend who told her it was good. We ordered for delivery. It came on time and was wrapped well. My daughter enjoyed her meal. I was so on the fence about it, because I didn't think it tasted that great. I didn't finish my burrito. the chicken wasn't that good. Opening night we went to explore their options. All working staff was masked but it was hard to hear those working the line as we asked about items, ingredients and options. We got a steak burrito ($12) that was half the size of other chair restaurants and tacos ($9) that were good but nothing that isn't similar to Tex-Mex options. We got an order of the Queso tater tots that has some spicy to them and we enjoyed them the most. There was some disconnect between orders as we had to ask for parts of our parties order that were not finished upon checking out but I think that was secondary to opening day madness. For $25 I'm not sure if this will fit into our dinning rotation but it's nice to have them as an option. 10% military discount and some gluten free options with a completely shared kitchen. read more

Our to go order wasn't ready until 30 minutes AFTER we were told to pick it up in the app. We found the food to be pretty bland.
