Tried this place for the first time. We were welcomed immediately as soon as we walked in. The ambiance was typical for a quick service burrito joint & was spotless. The menu seemed a bit overwhelming for a first timer. I ended up ordering "Crema Get The Money" with carnitas as my protein. I asked for the rice to be put on the side & had onions added. Hubby got the "Silly Philly" & paid $4.79 extra to make it a Combo (small fries & a fountain drink). We both liked the food & appreciated the variety they offer. The manager stopped by our table & gave us a 10% off coupon for our next visit. Would like to see an itemized receipt as it currently just gives you your total. I would return here to try some of their other options such as shrimp tacos, General Tso's crispy chicken tacos or Chiwawa. read more

Burritos were mostly white rice with no other ingredients. The Nashville Chicken Burrito had 4 pieces of chicken , a dab of sour cream in the bottom, 3 pickles, and then gobs of white rice. Similar situation with the Custom Burrito. Had a pocket of ground beef which tastes really odd. Then just a huge amount of white rice. Burritos seem to just be a huge helping of white rice wrapped in a shell. I would not come back to Bubbakoo's after this experience. Customer service felt really awkward as well. I tried Bubbakoo's Burritos in Springboro today. Definitely did not live up to the hype that I've seen from others. They use iceberg lettuce and the lettuce was wilted and soggy. The fajita veggies didn't appear to be cooked; it was like biting into a raw bell pepper. The chips were hard. The house salsa was good, but that was about it. Not the restaurant's fault, but still part of my experience, my delivery wasn't great either. I ordered through GrubHub. The delivery was late and the delivery guy left my order at the front desk instead of actually delivering to my apartment, which is listed on the address and in the delivery notes. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. I'll go to Chipotle Mexican Grill before going back here. read more

Same review as I placed on Google: We need to support these unique dining options in Springboro! Bubbakoos offers a fusion of bold flavors in your choice of a familiar burrito/taco/bowl/quesadilla. It's not Chipotle, and no one should expect it to be! Glad I tried the Chiwawa -- a huge, panko-breaded fried rice ball that can be topped with any ingredient. It ended up being a sizable entrée. The owners and employees working behind the counter were attentive and offered suggestions on what to order as a first timer. Place in clean. Staff is mostly nice. It was a bit $pendy for what we got? The lovely Mrs ordered the Shredded Chicken Bowl. I ordered the Memphis Chicken Burrito but thinking as I started eating it that I may have just gotten a Grilled Chicken Burrito with a couple spoonfuls of medium salsa? It was for sure not the Memphis Heat I was craving and as the Mrs stated, this food was so bland. The burrito was just so small? Like a baked potato size? Another burrito place has us spoiled? Decided to stop in for lunch to try this new place out. It's was around noon and no one was really there, which was odd.. but it's a new place. The guy behind the counter when I asked him to explain something had very broken English- hard to understand. Ordered a bowl and burrito with chips queso and one soda and water for two of us. 40$ pretty pricey lunch for two. Portions not like chipotle either. Food taste was decent but not great. No lids besides a coffee cup and no straws to take my drink. I would not come back and I would not recommend when there are other places to go. read more

Tried for the first time today. Ordered a pick up through DoorDash. You can customize pretty much everything to your liking. I ordered tater tots, nachos and a bowl. Everything came out exactly as ordered and very yummy! Inside the building everything is very clean and organized. I was immediately greeted upon entering. Employee quickly handed me my pick up order. Included napkins and utensils in the bag. Portions are great. Enough to share with two people. The style reminds me of Chipotle and Condado. A lot more options than Chipotle though. read more

Bubbakoo's is a decent place. I wouldn't say it's amazing or awful, just a decent place. My girlfriend and I went one afternoon and decided to go with chicken wings and nachos (odd I know but my gf was hungry so...). The two gentlemen behind the counter were very kind. Giving us insight to there favorite combos, asking us about our day, and they seemed to be working hard. The price I will say was a little higher than most similarly modeled restaurants. The whole restaurant was very clean, some odd color schemes, but overall very nice setup. Lastly, the most important part, the food. The food was pretty good. Wings were very crispy, sauce was meh, but it complimented the wings crisp well. The nachos were well layered and had the toppings spread across the chips beautifully. The taste was solid, nothing to go crazy about, but a nice fundamental nacho. In conclusion this restaurant is not awful, if anyone asked if they'd go I would say go ahead, but don't go too much out of your way. I would compare this restaurant to Joe Harris. Joe provides decent production, not a guy who's going to be amazing on your team, but is a nice piece. read more

I had ordered a burrito couple days ago expecting some high-quality filling for the amount I paid. The meat tasted like it had been sitting out for far too long. It was dry, $16 for a burrito? I know inflation is high but man, these prices are insane. Also came during a rush hour. Service was lacking due to only 3 employees. I was lured into this restaurant when I found a coupon in a circular shortly after they opened. I ordered a shrimp bowl because that isn't an option at Chipotle (which I frequent several times a month). The bowl had little flavor and only 6 shrimp. I decided to give the restaurant another chance particularly because the restaurant was convenient, I was in a hurry and Chipotle usually has a long line. This time I passed on the shrimp and instead ordered a barbacoa bowl with garlic and parm sauce. (All the other ingredients were the same as the shrimp bowl I had on my first visit.) This time the flavor was outstanding. I have been back several times and always get the barbacoa bowl with garlic and parm sauce. One of these days I'll get daring and try some of the other sauces. I suspect that some of the reviewer who say that the food is bland or has no flavor haven't tried one of the sauces. This place is more pricey than their competitors and even when they give me a receipt, it's never itemized so I have no clue what ingredients are extra or what the extras cost. They need to be more transparent and fix this. This place rarely has a line and only once did I have trouble getting my order in a timely fashion (not sure if they were out of an ingredient or the service line was just being slow). Communication with the customers would help here too. Lastly, I love the action videos that they play on the monitors around the restaurant. That's a nice touch. read more

Great convenient location, fresh Mexican alternative for lunch! I enjoy the shrimp tacos, and the hibachi burrito, Queso curly fries, and the bowls. Good fun interior, great manager, always accommodating. Check it out if you haven't! read more
