Beer-Battered Fish & Chips

I always love going to Yard House. They have a large variety of food and drink options, and the food never misses. We got the poke nachos as an appetizer. The tuna was fresh and the chips were thin with the perfect crisp. The flavors in my pork burger were great. The portion size of my husband's fish and chips were huge. It's a fun place for drinks and food or for just a date night.

My group of nine people ate here for lunch doing a break from visiting museums. We only had to wait a few minutes for the staff to set up tables to accommodate our large group. Our server was AMAZING! She was friendly, down to earth, talkative and served our large group without help from other staff. Our drink orders and food orders were all correct. There were no mistakes or changes at all. Like I said our server was amazing. For instance, our group had a 91 yr old lady, whom the server treated especially well. All of the dishes were presented well, the portion sizes were adequate-to-large and the flavors were delicious. No one in our party had any complaints or concerns at all. The atmosphere of this upscale sports bar/restaurant was inviting, the large TVs had closed captions (which I love at any public place) and the views of Cincinnati's bridges and waterfront were pleasing Overall, this restaurant and staff provided a great dining experience for our large family.

Yard House was amazing! We went on a Friday night and were told there was a wait but were seated within 5 minutes. Our server was awesome and knowledgeable about the menu. My boyfriend and I decided on the "half yard" drinks which were 32 oz. I got a fruity cider and he got a beer. They were both delicious. The menu was huge with a ton of options. We got the chicken nachos as an appetizer. It was a great portion and so delicious. Multiple sauces and toppings. We each got a burger with a side. I had the pepper jack burger with garlic parm fries. They were both incredible. My boyfriend had the bbq cheddar bacon burger with onion rings. Also both delicious. The atmosphere was so fun in there. There is a ton of seating. The restaurant and bathrooms are handicap accessible. Not sure about the parking as we walked. It was such a fun time and I'd love to go back!

First time dining here. An office ordered lunch from here, so I picked it up. It was dead when I arrived but it quickly became busy. While I waited for my order, I could see a large group of people standing at the door waiting to be seated. It took forever for those people, which was surprising since the restaurant was dead. The food was okay. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. My food was very under cooked, so I couldn't say I was that impressed.

Really enjoyed this place. The rice cake and the shrimp played well together... tacos were delicious and I love that you can mix them. The dip was creamy with a touch of spice... it wasn't too watery like most cheese dips and very good. The service is ok. Location and views are good!

They have got to have the best happy hour in Cincinnati! Half off appetizers from 3-6! and they are still full sized you can't beat that! We were sat and our waitress was so kind. She ensured that we had everything that we needed while enjoying our girls day! I love there large tables making it perfect for big parties or those people that order the whole menu! Beautiful space and and great views of the river. They even have a heated patio for when it gets cold out.

Nice location with easy access underneath with the parking garage. I like the interior of the place and find the service to be decent. Food was tasty and we had a nice time. The only thing I could complain about it was how dark it was inside the place when we went.

Ambiance is cool and casual with quick service. Unfortunately the kids pizza was a bit underdone and my daughter didn't want to eat it bc it was mushy. I had a BBQ chicken salad that was a little Smokey for my liking and the baked beans added an odd flavor to the salad. Very spacious and outdoor seating also available.

I wish i could order ten things every time.... The seating, views, staff, food, drinks.... Could not complain once.

It's good to know how to time that this is one of those places that is always high traffic. Always tons of people going in and out. It's close to the stadiums and when there are games happening and whenever there is a festival like pride or Oktoberfest, it's going to be slammed. So we did try to come here during one of the festivals and even though it was busy like crazy, we did get in within about 40 minutes. The staff seems to be doing their very best with all the crowds. But our server Lauren was amazing and she made sure that we were taking care of. We were always made to feel that she was there if we needed her. Food was actually pretty good. I would consider a place like this to probably not be always good with the food because they're just relying on high traffic but it's been good both times have been here. You can get a lot of food too depending on exactly what you want.

We went here before the reds game. We were from out of town and you can't have a bag at the game. I have long hair and it was HOT out. When we sat I was burning hot. I asked my server if she could possibly bring me a rubber band if they had any. The manager located me a hair tie and I was soooo thankful. We have many drinks they were perfectly made and our meals were fresh and wonderful. This place not only goes above and beyond for their customers nut the food and drinks is sooo delicious.

This place is located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. We had a large party of 11 people during the week and it was not very crowded. The service was below par, but they were very nice (drinks took a long time or had to be asked for a couple times). They had great appetizer specials until 6:30 and that came out super fast, and we actually got the apps before any of our drinks??? I got the Spicy Jambalaya and the dish was pretty good! For dessert, got the bread pudding which comes with ice cream and it was average (not my favorite). They have a full bar with a TON of beers on tap which was impressive. With the proximity to both stadiums this is a great choice on game day.

My husband and I went to dinner for our 10 year anniversary after a very difficult week for our family, and we were honestly too emotionally drained to make decisions. Our server, Jasmine, kindly took the reins and chose our meal for us -- which turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Every single dish she brought out was phenomenal. We started with the artichokes, arancini, and whipped ricotta -- each one better than the last. Then came the lemon pasta, spicy vodka pasta, shrimp, spaghetti and meatballs, and veal scallopini. Everything was absolutely delicious and clearly made with so much care. By the end we were so full we couldn't even attempt dessert. What made the evening truly special, though, was the kindness of the team. Levi, the GM, went so far out of his way to make us feel cared for and welcomed during a moment when we really needed it. The warmth and compassion we experienced there meant more than I can adequately put into words. Restaurants often talk about hospitality, but the team at Pepp & Dolores truly embodies it. Thanks for an evening we will never forget.

The space is open, bright and well decorated making it very inviting for brunch. You order at the counter from the menus placed along the wall then food is delivered to your table. The various brunch items all sounded very inviting so I was having trouble deciding what to order. So I got a recommendation to try the Shakshuka. Not sure how to pronounce it but when it arrived it was just the right portion and quite tasty for brunch. It's a bowl with a red pepper sauce and feta cheese and kale along with eggs sunny side up. The dish is served with pita so you can do a little bit of dipping in the tasty sauce. To accompany our food we selected the mimosa service and bloody mary pitcher. A pitcher is just perfect for sharing. And the mimosa service was delightful. The server arrived with a bottle of Prosecco and small carafes of orange, grapefruit and blood orange juices to mix yourself. The food was fresh and tasty with prompt delivery of our food to our table. Not quite a full service restaurant since you have to order at the counter but still a nice experience located downtown.

My boyfriend got a build-your-own ramen and it was really good when I tried a spoonful. They also have a variety of beers and cocktails. I got curious about their extensive espresso martini menu and was told to try the Chai Espresso Martini. It was amazing! I'm glad I ordered it and want to try a different type of espresso martini when I'm back next. The inside is really cool. I started the meal with a hot towel to clean my hands - it was this moment I knew I came for a treat. Each course was brought out in a timely manner, and explained thoroughly. The food was beautiful, complex, flavorful, and hearty. Each dish was crafted so meticulously. I could taste the passion for their craft with each bite. The drinks were also made perfectly. Overall, this was right in line with many Michelin starred restaurants I have dined in. I can't wait to come back and try the dining room menu. The bar scene itself was very boring, honestly one of the least interesting bar dining experiences I've had in a while. The food was mediocre and not memorable. The only dish I clearly remember, and probably the only one I would order again, was the watermelon salad. Everything else was fine at best, but nothing stood out or made me want to come back. I'm honestly surprised this restaurant is getting James Beard recognition. There are so many better places in the area, such as Colette, Baker's Table, and most notably Grist in Dayton, that feel far more deserving and seem to be overlooked. It makes me wonder if Wildweed has some kind of connection or ownership that helps it get more attention, because based on this visit, I don't see it.

We began with a dirty chai latte, aromatic and comforting, though I personally would have enjoyed a touch more sweetness. The dirty French, customized gluten free, was rich, decadent and deeply satisfying. It felt indulgent in the best way and showcased the kitchen's ability to balance comfort with culinary intention. To go, we ordered the crunchy chicken nuggets, fries and lemon ricotta pancakes. The fries were outstanding, perfectly crisp and addictive.
