I always love going to Yard House. They have a large variety of food and drink options, and the food never misses. We got the poke nachos as an appetizer. The tuna was fresh and the chips were thin with the perfect crisp. The flavors in my pork burger were great. The portion size of my husband's fish and chips were huge. It's a fun place for drinks and food or for just a date night.

My group of nine people ate here for lunch doing a break from visiting museums. We only had to wait a few minutes for the staff to set up tables to accommodate our large group. Our server was AMAZING! She was friendly, down to earth, talkative and served our large group without help from other staff. Our drink orders and food orders were all correct. There were no mistakes or changes at all. Like I said our server was amazing. For instance, our group had a 91 yr old lady, whom the server treated especially well. All of the dishes were presented well, the portion sizes were adequate-to-large and the flavors were delicious. No one in our party had any complaints or concerns at all. The atmosphere of this upscale sports bar/restaurant was inviting, the large TVs had closed captions (which I love at any public place) and the views of Cincinnati's bridges and waterfront were pleasing Overall, this restaurant and staff provided a great dining experience for our large family.

Yard House was amazing! We went on a Friday night and were told there was a wait but were seated within 5 minutes. Our server was awesome and knowledgeable about the menu. My boyfriend and I decided on the "half yard" drinks which were 32 oz. I got a fruity cider and he got a beer. They were both delicious. The menu was huge with a ton of options. We got the chicken nachos as an appetizer. It was a great portion and so delicious. Multiple sauces and toppings. We each got a burger with a side. I had the pepper jack burger with garlic parm fries. They were both incredible. My boyfriend had the bbq cheddar bacon burger with onion rings. Also both delicious. The atmosphere was so fun in there. There is a ton of seating. The restaurant and bathrooms are handicap accessible. Not sure about the parking as we walked. It was such a fun time and I'd love to go back!

First time dining here. An office ordered lunch from here, so I picked it up. It was dead when I arrived but it quickly became busy. While I waited for my order, I could see a large group of people standing at the door waiting to be seated. It took forever for those people, which was surprising since the restaurant was dead. The food was okay. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. My food was very under cooked, so I couldn't say I was that impressed.

Really enjoyed this place. The rice cake and the shrimp played well together... tacos were delicious and I love that you can mix them. The dip was creamy with a touch of spice... it wasn't too watery like most cheese dips and very good. The service is ok. Location and views are good!

They have got to have the best happy hour in Cincinnati! Half off appetizers from 3-6! and they are still full sized you can't beat that! We were sat and our waitress was so kind. She ensured that we had everything that we needed while enjoying our girls day! I love there large tables making it perfect for big parties or those people that order the whole menu! Beautiful space and and great views of the river. They even have a heated patio for when it gets cold out.

We went here before the reds game. We were from out of town and you can't have a bag at the game. I have long hair and it was HOT out. When we sat I was burning hot. I asked my server if she could possibly bring me a rubber band if they had any. The manager located me a hair tie and I was soooo thankful. We have many drinks they were perfectly made and our meals were fresh and wonderful. This place not only goes above and beyond for their customers nut the food and drinks is sooo delicious.

Nice location with easy access underneath with the parking garage. I like the interior of the place and find the service to be decent. Food was tasty and we had a nice time. The only thing I could complain about it was how dark it was inside the place when we went.

Ambiance is cool and casual with quick service. Unfortunately the kids pizza was a bit underdone and my daughter didn't want to eat it bc it was mushy. I had a BBQ chicken salad that was a little Smokey for my liking and the baked beans added an odd flavor to the salad. Very spacious and outdoor seating also available.

It's good to know how to time that this is one of those places that is always high traffic. Always tons of people going in and out. It's close to the stadiums and when there are games happening and whenever there is a festival like pride or Oktoberfest, it's going to be slammed. So we did try to come here during one of the festivals and even though it was busy like crazy, we did get in within about 40 minutes. The staff seems to be doing their very best with all the crowds. But our server Lauren was amazing and she made sure that we were taking care of. We were always made to feel that she was there if we needed her. Food was actually pretty good. I would consider a place like this to probably not be always good with the food because they're just relying on high traffic but it's been good both times have been here. You can get a lot of food too depending on exactly what you want.

This place is located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati. We had a large party of 11 people during the week and it was not very crowded. The service was below par, but they were very nice (drinks took a long time or had to be asked for a couple times). They had great appetizer specials until 6:30 and that came out super fast, and we actually got the apps before any of our drinks??? I got the Spicy Jambalaya and the dish was pretty good! For dessert, got the bread pudding which comes with ice cream and it was average (not my favorite). They have a full bar with a TON of beers on tap which was impressive. With the proximity to both stadiums this is a great choice on game day.

The space is open, bright and well decorated making it very inviting for brunch. You order at the counter from the menus placed along the wall then food is delivered to your table. The various brunch items all sounded very inviting so I was having trouble deciding what to order. So I got a recommendation to try the Shakshuka. Not sure how to pronounce it but when it arrived it was just the right portion and quite tasty for brunch. It's a bowl with a red pepper sauce and feta cheese and kale along with eggs sunny side up. The dish is served with pita so you can do a little bit of dipping in the tasty sauce. To accompany our food we selected the mimosa service and bloody mary pitcher. A pitcher is just perfect for sharing. And the mimosa service was delightful. The server arrived with a bottle of Prosecco and small carafes of orange, grapefruit and blood orange juices to mix yourself. The food was fresh and tasty with prompt delivery of our food to our table. Not quite a full service restaurant since you have to order at the counter but still a nice experience located downtown.

We began with a dirty chai latte, aromatic and comforting, though I personally would have enjoyed a touch more sweetness. The dirty French, customized gluten free, was rich, decadent and deeply satisfying. It felt indulgent in the best way and showcased the kitchen's ability to balance comfort with culinary intention. We got the duck fat fries, brussels sprouts, and buffalo chicken. The duck fat fries came with a delicious garlic aïoli. The brussels sprouts were just perfect. And the buffalo chicken with some of the best I've had in a long time. I had never had cock-a-leekie before, so I tried that too. It was a nice, warm, comfort food. I noticed the drink menu had a cucumber elderberry drink, but I do not drink alcohol, so I ask if they would be willing to make something like it as a mocktail. It was genuinely one of the best mock tails I've ever had. It was so good. I asked if the bartender would mind sharing what she did so I could make some version of it at home. She happily obliged and wrote it down for me. Overall, a wonderful experience that will definitely have me recommending Nicholsons to friends and family!

The passion fruit mignonette was the perfect compliment. I kept scooping out tiny spoonfuls and drinking it after we finished the oysters. The Fluke Crudo was fantastic. The combo of flavors and textures was a delight for the palate. The scallops over the miso leek risotto was one of the best scallop dishes we have ever eaten. The scallops were huge and cooked perfectly and there were plenty of pieces of leek in a lovely, smooth risotto. We're not a fan of hijiki, so the chef prepared the risotto without it - Thanks Chef Jose! And you would think chicken schnitzel would be basic, but not this dish. The chicken was so moist, perfectly seasoned, and pan fried in butter. We asked for the sauce on the side because we knew we wouldn't finish the big piece and wanted to heat it up later and still be crispy (which we did).
