We love yard house. Food is always smackin and vibes are always good. It wasn't too busy when we went.

Had a really good time here. Came here to watch game four of the Knicks game. The vibes were right. The drinks were delicious. The food was good and the bartenders were amazing. Me and a group of my friends sat at the bar, had drinks, ate, and watched the game. We really enjoyed ourselves (despite the Knicks losing). We won game 5!!!!!

We were greeted when we walked in. It was clean for the most part. The bathrooms needed to be cleaned. The food was good as always.

Came here for happy hour with a couple of friends and we almost ordered the whole happy hour menu. The food came out fast with the exception of the calamari and our server Tinky was great and attentive. I ordered the espresso martini and pink dragon margarita and I was highly satisfied with both. The espresso martini being my favorite! I also ordered the edamame, the carnivore pizza, and the calamari. Im not a big fan of mushrooms but tried the shiitake Noodles and I loved it. The mushrooms are big enough to pick out or push to the side and just eat the noodles which is what I did. Everything we had was great and I will definitely be back.

They have the most on tap beers around. I recommend this place mainly for the expanse beer options on tap. Their food is pretty standard American bar food. They have convenient at the table ordering and checking out. Good spot to check out before a game

My group of nine people ate here for lunch doing a break from visiting museums. We only had to wait a few minutes for the staff to set up tables to accommodate our large group. Our server was AMAZING! She was friendly, down to earth, talkative and served our large group without help from other staff. Our drink orders and food orders were all correct. There were no mistakes or changes at all. Like I said our server was amazing. For instance, our group had a 91 yr old lady, whom the server treated especially well. All of the dishes were presented well, the portion sizes were adequate-to-large and the flavors were delicious. No one in our party had any complaints or concerns at all. The atmosphere of this upscale sports bar/restaurant was inviting, the large TVs had closed captions (which I love at any public place) and the views of Cincinnati's bridges and waterfront were pleasing Overall, this restaurant and staff provided a great dining experience for our large family.

I always love going to Yard House. They have a large variety of food and drink options, and the food never misses. We got the poke nachos as an appetizer. The tuna was fresh and the chips were thin with the perfect crisp. The flavors in my pork burger were great. The portion size of my husband's fish and chips were huge. It's a fun place for drinks and food or for just a date night.

Yard House was amazing! We went on a Friday night and were told there was a wait but were seated within 5 minutes. Our server was awesome and knowledgeable about the menu. My boyfriend and I decided on the "half yard" drinks which were 32 oz. I got a fruity cider and he got a beer. They were both delicious. The menu was huge with a ton of options. We got the chicken nachos as an appetizer. It was a great portion and so delicious. Multiple sauces and toppings. We each got a burger with a side. I had the pepper jack burger with garlic parm fries. They were both incredible. My boyfriend had the bbq cheddar bacon burger with onion rings. Also both delicious. The atmosphere was so fun in there. There is a ton of seating. The restaurant and bathrooms are handicap accessible. Not sure about the parking as we walked. It was such a fun time and I'd love to go back!

First time dining here. An office ordered lunch from here, so I picked it up. It was dead when I arrived but it quickly became busy. While I waited for my order, I could see a large group of people standing at the door waiting to be seated. It took forever for those people, which was surprising since the restaurant was dead. The food was okay. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. My food was very under cooked, so I couldn't say I was that impressed.

Really enjoyed this place. The rice cake and the shrimp played well together... tacos were delicious and I love that you can mix them. The dip was creamy with a touch of spice... it wasn't too watery like most cheese dips and very good. The service is ok. Location and views are good!

They have got to have the best happy hour in Cincinnati! Half off appetizers from 3-6! and they are still full sized you can't beat that! We were sat and our waitress was so kind. She ensured that we had everything that we needed while enjoying our girls day! I love there large tables making it perfect for big parties or those people that order the whole menu! Beautiful space and and great views of the river. They even have a heated patio for when it gets cold out.

We went here before the reds game. We were from out of town and you can't have a bag at the game. I have long hair and it was HOT out. When we sat I was burning hot. I asked my server if she could possibly bring me a rubber band if they had any. The manager located me a hair tie and I was soooo thankful. We have many drinks they were perfectly made and our meals were fresh and wonderful. This place not only goes above and beyond for their customers nut the food and drinks is sooo delicious.

The short rib with mashed potatoes was absolutely wonderful, and of course I had to add fries just for fun. My waiter was fabulous, attentive, and very informative about the menu. He made the experience even better and was happy to answer all of my questions. One of my favorite touches was the little sweet treat they bring at the end of the meal. That day, it was limoncello cotton candy, and I loved it! Metropole is a great spot whether you're staying at the 21c Museum Hotel or simply in the area and looking for a memorable meal. Definitely worth checking out!

We started with two glasses of the French rose- a well balanced wine that went with the dishes we ordered. We were torn between the focaccia with butter and oil, or the fancy focaccia. Sean suggested the fancy one. The focaccia was excellent, but it was covered with so much cheese (not stated in the description), that we could hardly taste the prosciutto jam. We would have much preferred to taste the fluffy bread with a good olive oil or butter and keep it pure. Our second starter was the spicy Ahi tuna toast. It arrived with a very unappetizing looking mixture of a tuna and black garlic mixture that did not look at all like we expected. And the pieces of brioche on which it was served was too thick. The taste was fantastic though. If this dish were tweaked to look better, we would order it again. For our mains we had the Wagyu ravioli, and the Salmon Au Poivre. Upon arrival at the table, the ravioli looked like it had too much sauce, but the sauce was so well-balanced and lighter than it appeared. It was SO delicious. The beef inside was tender and had great beefy flavor. You would think a pepper sauce with 5 kinds of pepper (Sean told us this) would be too strong for salmon, but oh no it was not! The salmon was cooked to a perfect medium rare and had crispy skin. Highly recommend. The bean puree underneath was tasty, but there was no discernable grilled artichoke in the frisee salad. There were two tiny piece of what tasted like canned artichokes. We have eaten at Metropole over the years with a few different chefs at the helm. Chef Cova is making a strong first impression with us. We will joyfully return to try more of his menu.

Loved seeing some menu throwbacks to the previous restaurant. The rigatoni, beets, bread service, squash & fish were all delicious. We only had two sour notes all night - celebrating a birthday (directly told our server when she asked), and no birthday dessert was offered. Normally wouldn't expect that, but TWO tables next to us got a cake slice with a candle. It felt a bit rude to have our special night missed when others were acknowledged. Our table ended up ordering the chocolate cremeux which had the worst, over-smoked ice cream flavor any of us ever experienced -- mother of god. Not sure why that exists.

Walking in a bit awkward. One door is locked and the other is open. One has to guess correctly. The entrance is a little cramped. Goto the left for the bar or the right for the dining room. I've always enjoyed the open kitchen; the focus, hustle, and discipline is admirable and fun to watch. Decor is modern. Feels upscale. One can make this a casual date or dress it up for a bigger night out. All of our wait staff have been polite and are good at timing visits. The food offered here and all of Salazar's restaurants is excellent. Most recently, we enjoyed the lobster rolls, fried oysters sandwich, fries, steak, and scallops. Two desserts were taken to go. Each dish, no matter how advanced or simple, presented with elegance, perfect spice and texture, and spot on internal temps. Certainly it's the excellent cooking that justifies the $300 check that chased this outstanding experience. Everything I've mentioned is positive. Where do the two stars come from? Well in our last visit, we took dessert to go. We utilized valet that Salazars/Mitas contracts. It took forty minutes for our car to get to us. Forty. Minutes. We got ice cream as a part of a dessert to go. While one could argue we are taking a risk, and I agree, we actually had a cooler in the back of the car that was ice cold from earlier in the day. Thusly we felt we were taking a calculated risk. We get our car, see the ice cream is melted, and I go back. I explain the situation to the hostesses. The GM shows up and I provide a gentle explanation. Following this I say I'd like to the replace the included ice cream but end up ordering a couple other flavors. I get cashed out - no apology for the under performing valet, no offer to cover the melted scoop, just take my money and move forward. I understand that nothing is owed to me. I understand that restaurants aren't successful by giving out hand outs. My frustration comes with the lack of recognition of arguably restaurant error, the fact that loyalty means nothing, and that spending nearly $300 (or how much four visits cost in less than a year), including a kitchen tip, wasnt enough.
