Had this catered for a work lunch. SO GOOD! A variety of high quality, healthy foods. I was a huge fan of the chicken myself, but some of my coworkers really enjoyed the vegetarian options (falafel, hummus, cucumber salad). Can't speak to the restaurant's service or ambiance, but food was delivered on time and we had plenty of leftovers!

I ate here with a friend for lunch today and absolutely loved it. The Mantoo dumplings stole the show for me, and I'm still trying to figure out how to make the Dough properly weeks later. Everything here was fantastic, and I'll definitely be back for more!

I ordered takeout from here twice, and then organized a group to dine in. Wow -- the take-out food was amazing! The lamb tikka kabob was tender, and crusted with an amazing spice which I think was sumac. The qabila pilov came with a huge lamb shank -- this flavorful slab of meat attached to the bone, that made me think of a Ren Fair turkey leg. The second take-out I got the mentoo appetizer, and was blown away -- a very complex explosion of flavors -- the yogurt, a spice I can't identify, the herbs, the dal cooked al dente, a sweet hint of raisin, the ground meat -- it was that illusive surprise of a new flavor I had never tasted before, and amazed me so much, I gobbled it up quickly and ordered it again at the next opportunity!! Which happened when I scheduled my monthly dine-out group there for last night. I thought we would have 12 people attend, but I told the restaurant owner I was worried a few "surprise" people would show up. The owner went out of her way to have tables in for 16 people set up for us!! And we ended up with 15, so their generous spirit was much appreciated. The owner was the only person greeting the tables, and she did so with patience, cheerful hospitality, and a good explanation of the dishes, and was quick to respond to any request. The whole experience had the feel of eating at a neighbor's home. Yes, a few "expected amenities" weren't present -- for example, there were no water glasses set out to supplement the ordered drinks. But the welcoming atmosphere and amazing food more than made up for the lapses from the conventional. We had a few hard-to-please members who thought the rice was too plan -- but the majority of our diners were amazed at the huge portions and amazing flavors! Strongly, strongly recommend this one.

    Kabuli Pilov and Chicken Kabobs.

We are in Ohio for 3 days and just had lunch at Afghan Grill. The host Alina gave us such a warm welcome, I knew we were at the right place for lunch We had the Kabuli Pilov and Chicken Kabobs, both were perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection. The lamb was break-of-the-bone tender, and the boneless chicken was just out of this world. My daughter usually never enjoys chicken outside of home, but she finished the whole platter and made me order another one to take to the hotel for dinner. We enjoyed some amazing Cardamom tea post lunch, and a delectable bowl of Firni. From the beautiful music in the background, to Alina's gracious hosting and the scrumptious meal, I would rate this place 10 stars out of 5. We are definitely going back again before we head back home.

Chicken Kabob Entree - enough for 2 people.

Wow! Amazing food in large portions. Hummus so smooth, creamy and perfectly seasoned. If you like kabobs you must try. My husband has now picked it up 3 times. This was last night - chicken kabobs - 9 giant pieces of chicken. I cut each piece into 3 bites. Juicy, flavorful and with the rice it was perfect! Had seconds the next day.

The absolute best lamb and chicken kebab I've ever had. The hummus was great too. This might be my new favorite restaurant.

I arrived about 8 and it was clear they were already shutting things down. Tables were closed off, bar stools were on the counter, the kiosks were blocked by cones and someone was mopping. I double checked that it wasn't 9. The girl moved a cone so I could order. Got the typical shrimp taco, trashy trailer park, and small queso. Since they were mopping the place smelled like cleaning product so I went outside. Food came quickly, queso first. Something wasn't quite right about it. It was almost like it was broken. It was not good. Next got the tacos and shrimp taco was on point. Grabbed the other one, it had the queso on it, took a bite anyway and I was so salty I couldn't eat it. When I left I noticed 3 other half eaten bowls of queso on the trash can. Needless to say it was a pretty disappointing experience.

The concept is basically same as Chipotle, build your own bowl pick your own protein, veggies and bases. We started ours with the lemon rice and added I think almost all the toppings lol and then we got the fried chicken if I remember correctly, and added the sauce on the sides. Now I had very high hopes for the restaurant. But what I didn't like is how 1. The chicken was super big. More like chicken nuggets in the bowl instead of chicken FOR the bowl. We had like 6 pieces of chicken but a big bowl full of other toppings. Something I did like though is there was no limit on the toppings. You could get all of them or none of them if you really wanted. It threw me off with the sauces we asked for them in the side and they gave us packets. Idk why but it kind of threw me off too then we ended up forgetting to even use them when we ate the actual bowl. The sauces probably would have helped with the bowl, but tbh the experience was just anti climatic. Personally it just feel like a whole bunch of American Asian items thrown together in one bowl

For my entree I enjoyed a lamb wrap and some lentil soup, while the rest of my family had a few other selections. Everyone left feeling satisfied but not stuffed - the perfect balance. I've since moved to Liberty Twp. but the Phoenician still beckons. Had dinner last night there with my wife. It was a wonderful experience. I felt it was high time I wrote them up. We started with an excellent double-hop IPA and a great Lebanese red wine, I think it was called Kefraya. Gonna seek it out locally, maybe at Jungle Jim's. As always, the pita bread is fresh, oven-hot and delectable. The shankleen appetizer is outstanding, a lovely fusion of greens, lentils, feta cheese, olive oil and spices. Wife ordered schwirma - slow-grilled combo of sliced chicken alongside sliced beef and lamb. The waiter obligingly substituted a side of couscous for rice, no extra charge. I had a braised shank of lamb in a rich tomato sauce. Both entrees were delicious. As always, the portions were very generous, so we took food home along with complimentary fresh pita bread. Besides the great food, the service is superb. The owner makes a point of stopping at each table to ensure that the diners are happy. We look forward to our next visit.
