We were looking for a Mediterranean restaurant for lunch and saw this place listed on Yelp and Google. The restaurant is located in a small strip mall. The customer service was good. The gentleman working the counter was very nice and informative. The food was really delicious! I got a Gyro Wrap, my husband got the Beef Sharma Wrap, our son got the Double Cheeseburger, and we ordered a side of Falafel's. Everything was served hot, fresh tasting, and tasted so delicious and flavorful! We recommend this place! We will definitely be back!

A falafel. They went fast because they were so good!

We have never been to this restaurant, but I was wanting a good Greek Salad and I had seen this little restaurant on YELP and it was nearby. We ordered Chicken Shawarma and a Greek Salad. The owners offered a complimentary order of Falafel also. The Chicken Shawarma was wonderful, the Falafels were terrific, the Greek Salad was......OK. We were excited that a Middle Eastern restaurant was in our area now and that I didn't need to drive all the way down to Ali Baba's on Red Bank Road, but I think Falafel House needs to do some marketing and maybe up their game a little. I think they have a good foundation, but could do a little more. They have competition in the area with Lentils right down the street so it will be interesting to see who wins?

Hole in the wall with delicious food! Service was quick and to the point. There are cheaper meal options if you're on a budget. I don't eat gluten or dairy so kabob for me! Everything was delicious, hot, and freshly made. We dined in 12pm Saturday and only a couple customers came by at that time. Only complaint is I feel the lamb kabob could be a few dollars less given the portion.

The food was really good. The environment was great and the customer service was fantastic. The music and aesthetic was pleasing as well.

Filling the gyro shaped hole in my heart left behind by the closure of the Montgomery GYRO KING, I am happy to welcome this business to the neighborhood (been in business a week at the time of this review). Good gyro (although I wish the tzatziki was a little creamier), good falafel, good hummus, very good bread. Also had nice portion sizes and I felt prices were reasonable (in this day and age). I was ready to walk into Dairy Queen and get some chili dogs; this is a much better dinner option.

I tried the FH for the first time at 11:15am on Sunday, 9/29. I had to wait a couple minutes before someone came to the front since they had just opened for the day at 11am, and I assume I was the first customer. (Perhaps they need a bell to tell them when the door opens.) The menu boards were not operating when I arrived, but I already knew what wanted. I ordered a Gyro Wrap, 6-piece Falafel, and a bottle of water for dine-in for a total of $19.92 with tax but before tip, which is comparable to other similar restaurants. They have seating for up to 23 people via 4 tables with 4 chairs each plus two counters at the front windows with 7 high seats total. They have two coolers with cans and bottles of soft drinks, teas, and water. There is no decor of any type, but perhaps that will change. (They have been open approximately 3 months as of this review.) My food was made fresh and was ready in only 7 minutes. The gyro wrap was very good and had a very generous amount of freshly shaved gyro meat with lettuce, tomatoes, and tzatziki sauce on a pita (that was browned on the griddle). The falafel was also very good and was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and served with a tasty dipping sauce. I also received 8 pieces of falafel (2 more than ordered). By the way, the Falafel House is related to SM Steak and Lemonade, which is just around the corner and to which I gave 5 stars on 7/31. I encourage you to visit both restaurants.

Best falafel I've ever had, no joke! Was recommended by a coworker and I'm always hesitant to try places without marked menus for allergies. The guy taking our order was very knowledgeable about food allergies and I enjoyed every bite! We also took a dozen falafel to go for dinner! We will definitely be back!

Amazing food. Everything tastes fresh and is made to order. Great about accommodating gluten allergy and the people working are beyond nice. Some of the best food in Cincinnati. The beef shawarma is excellent and is not chewy. The chicken is tender and goes well with rice and salad. The falafel is out of this world. Great dipping sauces all fresh and made in store. The hummus is perfect. Strongly recommend and if I ever need catering this will be the place I go to first.

Decent , not great falafel place. A fast food type. Quick service. Pretty quiet establishment, tucked away in a strip mall.

When I went in to pick up our order, he apologized for the extra wait to make our food and explained he hates telling customers that he is out of a certain type of food. Been eyeing this place for a while and finally made it out. Mediterranean is one of mine and my…read morewife's favorite cuisines, but haven't loved a lot of other places we've visited. Made it out here last night before seeing Pericles at Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. We ordered a couple waters, which we didn't realize would be bottled, and some dawali to start. The wait was very short, maybe ten minutes. These were definitely the best stuffed grape leaves I've had, with a sweet and tangy sauce. Nice light appetizer. For our entrees, she chose the falafel platter, and I went for the Arayes, which is a dish we've made a couple times at home recently and has become a favorite. These plates arrived only a minute or two after we finished the grape leaves, so perfect timing. I must say, everything looked incredible. We both took a bite of falafel, then the arayes, then the salad. Everything was very undersalted. Usually, I think of this as a huge strike against a restaurant, but once we added salt to everything, the flavors popped. It wasn't that the food was bland or unseasoned, it was just undersalted, which didn't help the flavors stand out. This is the main reason I did 4 stars instead of 5. The entrees were $18, and came with a big bed of rice and salad, but I felt the protein for each platter was a bit sparse: 5 falafel for the plate, and 5 arayes, which had a very thin patty of meat in each. Both were topped with a delicious cilantro-tahini (I think) sauce, that i would have liked a bit more of, for the sides and the arayes which were on the bottom. The water bottles were $1.50 each, so I'd probably bring our own next time, but that's not a big deal. Overall, most of my issues are small and nitpick except for the salt, so if that was nailed next time, I think this place would be a home run.

Finally she made reservations for Saturday evening (it is recommended because they get super busy). We got there and was greeted by the owner. BTW, was very down to earth. Super fresh and the bread that came with it was so good. Even the dipping sauce was amazing. My Shawarma chicken was super delish. You have to put the garlic butter on the rice!
