Halal Burgers - Triple Cheese Burger

    Halal Burgers

I've heard the hype about Halal Burgers and was excited to finally give it a try. The menu is…read morewonderfully simple. There's a traditional burger called Signature Burger, then numbered 1-3 depending on how many patties. They have three fancier burgers -- Mushroom & Swiss, BBQ or Jalapeño. There are three types of chicken sandwiches -- Regular, Mango Habanero or Nashville Hot. They also offer chicken wings or chicken tenders with 8 sauces to choose from. Side options are waffle fries or onion rings. If you have a sweet tooth, they offer six flavors of milk shakes. I went with the Signature Burger 2 and a side of waffle fries. In addition to the two patties, it comes with two slices of American cheese, caramelized onions, signature sauce and mayonnaise. It was ready in under 10 minutes and I was on my way. They do have about ten tables if you want to dine inside. The burger comes wrapped in foil and stayed pretty warm by the time I got home. The flavor was excellent but after a few bites it almost seemed too decadent for a burger. I'm not sure how else to explain it other than it was so rich and dense that I think my taste buds were confused. I couldn't really taste the signature sauce, so I think next time I would ask for extra signature sauce and get it without mayonnaise. The fries were crispy and all in all it ended up being the perfect amount of food. I'd be interested to try one of the chicken sandwiches next time.

The signature burger was indeed the best burger I've had in this area. It's the seasoning they use. The meat is outstanding and it was well seasoned. The burger was completely balanced with cheese, sauce and meat. Five stars. The jalapeño burger was also very good. But the burger seasoning did not come through. It was a very good burger as well. Easy parking and fairly quick (they are made to order). Highly recommend.

The atmosphere had a relaxed elegance without feeling fancy, and after coming straight from a loud reception, the calm setting with gentle music was exactly what we needed. My colleague and I both ordered the chicken kebab dinner, and it was exceptional. The food was flavorful and tasty, the chicken was moist and deliciously seasoned, and the steamed vegetables were cooked perfectly without being mushy. We also enjoyed the Turkish tea after dinner, which was recommended to help with digestion. It was a strong black tea served in the cutest little glass cup with a handle, and we finished every drop. The staff was attentive, kind, and welcoming without being intrusive. Overall, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable dining experience, and I'd gladly return.

The restaurant had a nice quiet dinner ambiance-- comfortable and upscale without being stuffy. The food had great flavor, portions were generous and everything well cooked. We loved the mezze (baba ganoush was delicious) and chefs platters. The steak in particular was perfectly cooked and seasoned. For dessert my favorite was the Kunefe which you don't find everywhere! Our server Hassan was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. Overall great experience and would recommend.

Finally she made reservations for Saturday evening (it is recommended because they get super busy). We got there and was greeted by the owner. BTW, was very down to earth. So their menu looked good (Lebanese food). There is so much to choose from and hard to decide. I especially loved their drink menu, especially wines. We ended up ordering: Appetizers: Baba ghannouge M'hammara Taverna falafel Dinner: Shawarma chicken Kebab mixed grill Drinks: Chateau kefraya, Les Bretches Almaza Pilsner My favorite from the appetizers is the eggplant and falafel! Super fresh and the bread that came with it was so good. Even the dipping sauce was amazing. My Shawarma chicken was super delish. You have to put the garlic butter on the rice! It gives it great flavor. My Mr enjoyed his meal as well. We definitely had to get a to go box because there was so much food. But we will look forward the next day to eat it. Overall, the service was great and I loved the experience. We can see ourselves coming back for more! I can see why my best friend loves it here! Highly recommend you try it.

The food was fantastic, the service was awesome, and the atmosphere was very laid back. We even met the owner who was immensely friendly and welcoming. We went for dinner on a Saturday evening. For weekends, reservations are strongly recommended because they get busy FAST. They're only open for dinner hours too. Their menu is pretty big with a plethora of options to choose from including lots of appetizers, flatbreads, shawarmas, kebabs, falafel, and lots of tasty desserts. Their libations menu was very nice too, with numerous options for beer, wine, and spirits. (Try the Almaza for a crisp and tasty Pilsner) all at great prices. Here's what we had: Appetizers: Baba ghannouge M'hammara Taverna falafel Dinner: Shawarma chicken Kebab mixed grill Drinks: Chateau kefraya, Les Bretches red wine blend Almaza Pilsner Hoegaarden Belgian wit bier They also give you unlimited fresh pita bread with a delicious dipping sauce. Everything was incredible and cooked to perfection. We'll definitely be coming back here again. Unfortunately, this time, we had no room for dessert, but maybe next time.

Well on this day we stopped in for a quick burger and fries. Well as you can see in my picture we opted for the onion rings and wow am I glad we went this route. We got the big easy. We shared the burger and onion rings and it was the perfect amount food for the two of us. Not only was the food super fresh to me it tasted like an upscale Big Mac with the best onion rings. I would gladly come back here and get another burger. And since it is just around the corner from the bird store and a grocery store I go to weekly, I guess I will be back. I would much rather spend a little extra on a good burger than get something that just doesn't even taste good at a chain of M's.

We had tried Wayback in Louisville and liked it. We decided to pick up lunch for take-out when we…read moresaw this one to feed our daughter and son-in-law whom we were visiting. To the point, the food was ok, no better than Sonic my burger tasted just like a double bacon cheeseburger from Sonic. If you had given it to me and told me it was from Sonic I would not have known the difference. Here lies the issue, the Wayback burger costs about twice what SOnic charges. This applies to all their food, everything was way overpriced for the quality. More outrageous, my soda (we all know it costs them pennies to serve) but they charged me $4.59 for a soft drink! Look at my receipt, four burgers, one soda and one milkshake, one order of fries, and one order of Tator tots. At Sonic this would have been about $22 bucks. At the far better Five Guys, it would have been about $40 which is still expensive but better quality than SOnic and we all know Five Guys gives you a boatload of fries. Our order was over $72 dollars! $72.70 in fact! Don't tell me about inflation or higher wages, it simply does not cost that much to make a cheap burger with paper-thin bacon. That may be why the place was empty at 1 in the afternoon when every other burger joint on the planet would be packed. Honestly, if they were amazing burgers that were huge with a cornucopia of fries maybe, but for most people $72 is not a reasonable lunch price for four people.
