First of all, we were here on a very bad night. Huge storms had caused power outages so people needed restaurants and many restaurants were closed. We ordered online and came in to pick food up. We were very disappointed to find once we got to hotel (our house had been crushed by a tree) but our order was completely wrong. Wrong subs, wrong size, completely a different order. Email person asked me the same questions the app did and then they told me it has to go through the store... why couldn't the person I talked to help me then? Also your mural makes no sense. Absolutely terrible. At about 12:18 I ordered a sub through the app. Supposed to be ready at 12:30. Checked the app around 12:35. Indicated I could pick up my order at the to go shelf. It was not there. And based on the large number of people waiting it wasn't going to be anytime soon. So I get to sit around for another twenty minutes waiting for my sub. For the last ten minutes I can see my sub sitting on the counter, just sitting there. Can't wait to eat that. Here's the thing. The people working (there were three) were working hard. Another customer mentioned to me that for a period it was just one person working. First of all, if that is the case then have it be reflected on the app. If you are backed up then don't represent that the sandwich will be ready in twelve minutes. And don't have the app say my order is ready when it is not. Secondly, if you own this place then shame on you. Be staffed for a lunch crowd. Get down there yourself and start making sandwiches. Stopped by Firehouse Subs today for a quick lunch. I ordered the Chicken noodle soup and it was needless to say not so fresh. The noodles tasted like they has been cooked for several hours. It was no longer noodle but mashed noddles. The chicken tasted like process chicken in a can vs fresh chicken. Do not order the chicken noodle soup for $4.99 as a simple can of soup would have tasted more fresh than what I received. The service had always been amazing, helpful, and prompt. They make your subs as you order them. They pile on the meat and veggies just they way you want them. I over how much meat comes on their subs versus some other places. Well worth every penny. I've had almost every sub they make and each one was better than the previous one.
