The cheeseburger was so good well seasoned full of flavor and the two kinds of cheese on it just worked. I get a premade patty with just cheese and bread. How messed up is that. So I go back to the truck and asked the young man taking orders , do you all not have lettuce and tomato and stuff for the burger? I asked for everything on it. He then takes my plate inside the food truck and comes back out. So now I'm freaking out cause how long does it take to put trimmings on a burger. Finally I get it back and there's a slice of tomato thicker than the meat and one piece of lettuce. No onions no pickles. To which I ask again are there no onions and pickles. To this I'm asked do you want onions. I'm like "yes" I said I wanted everything on it. So the plate was passed back again where I got a few pieces of what looked like cooked onions. SMH ... $15.50 for this??? Never again. I was shown a jar almost empty of liquid with pickles at the bottom and told these are all the pickles we have. I mean really!! Never again. Did I mention I took one bite and threw it out. By the time all the passing back and forth was done the fries were cold. And they have the nerve to say no refunds. It is located in the Edwards Lake Road Lowe's parking lot near the back of the Staples. Looking back over my check in photos, I have consistently ordered the Campechano Tacos which is a typical go to for me with any taco truck. On my most recent stop I ordered the Campechano Quesadilla instead. While I did enjoy it, I think next time I get a quesadilla, I will try the Pollo or Asada instead. I was also very tempted by the tamales and plan to try them on a future visit. I timed my visit just right and was able to order with no wait because almost immediately several people showed up behind me. It did not take long for the pager they gave me to go off for me to receive my order.

My husband and I went with the chicken pineapple bowl and the hibachi shrimp reg bowl. The meats are cooked to order and usually served with your choice of noodles, rice, or both. Today they were out of noodles. The meat is tossed in a teriyaki sauce and served over fried rice. The pineapple is completely hollowed out and a few pieces are served on the side. The pineapple bowl also comes with grilled veggies (carrots, broccoli, zucchini, squash). The regular bowl came with several shrimp on top. Bowls come with choice of yum yum sauce and/or teriyaki sauce. We enjoyed both bowls. Would definitely try them again.

I've been a fan/customer way before Whitney had her truck and held pop-ups at events around the city. The food is always fresh and hot since it's made to order. I love how she offers a different menu than what most of the other trucks offer. She even offers a salad option for those that want a lighter fare. If you're looking for burgers or polish sausage...this isn't your truck. But if you want delicious, Creole inspired cuisine, definitely look out for Simone's Kitchen ATL (the truck) at a location near you.

My job was in a big UAB office building that did not have an active cafeteria, so they would have food trucks come serve us multiple times a month. Satay n Roll was definitely my favorite. I would usually get the Bagel Roll, and then pair it with either fried rice, fried dumplings, or crab angels, depending on my mood. Satay n Roll stays moving around, so I had not eaten from the truck since I left the Birmingham area. Luckily, I came into town this week and was able to track them down; they post a schedule on Facebook. I got the Bagel Roll, of course, and crab angels with a Diet Coke. It's a heavy meal, but yummy. The staff is also super nice. I would go on another adventure to track them down again!

After eating at the hospital all week it was a nice change. When I arrived outside there was a small line and the smell from the truck was delicious. I only ordered a couple of sides but their menu is very nice and the prices are very reasonable. The lady that took my order was friendly and the service was fast. I ordered the crab angels and fried dumplings. They were so good! The dumplings were crispy and delicious with the sweet chili sauce they were served with. The crab angels were crispy, creamy, and perfectly sweet with duck sauce. They were so good I forgot to take a picture. Thank you, Satay n Roll for making food that got my mom to eat. This meal is the only thing she's taken more than two bites of since she was admitted.

The workers inside of the food truck were very kind and that made the experience even better. The hype behind Aww Shucks is definitely worth it, the corn is unbelievable.
