Upon entering, we told Mr Oli (the owner) that it was our first visit. Not only did he explain the menu in great detail to us, but he gave us samples of the chicken salad, lamb and baklava while we made our decision on what we were ordering. I had my mind set on the chicken kabobs, but changed after he showed me a plated salmon meal. It was cooked just as I like it so I ordered one for myself. My guy, who isn't big on trying new things, opted for the lemon pepper wings and fries combo. However, he did agree to try the gyro meal on our next visit. We also ordered a special dessert Mr Oli told us was a secret recipe from his wife that could only be found at his restaurant. I was excited to try it! A short time later, our food was brought to our table by Mr Oli. My salmon was cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. The salad was fresh and the dressing complemented it well. The pita bread was served warm and the hummus was creamy and flavorful. My guy enjoyed his wings and said that he could taste the special touch Mr Oli put on them. The dessert was something special. Crispy, and fried golden with a unique taste, it definitely was something we would order again on our next visit. It wasn't sweet but met the needs of a sweet tooth calling. If that makes any sense, lol. The creamy cheese filling reminded me of a decadent cheesecake. The ambiance gave quaint neighborhood eatery.
