The meat I received were super fatty. There were some when the fat was around 80% of the meat itself. Veggies were good! They have a bar of sauces and other foods you can get and add to your hot pot. Broth was fine, it wasn't anything particular to rave about. The service was great - people were so friendly and nice. They tended to us pretty well. The ambience was really cool! We took advantage of their 2-for-1 deal on regular-size poke bowls and loaded them up with raw salmon, raw ahi tuna, cooked shrimp, and nearly every available free add-on. The bowls were excellent -- fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. Even as a big eater, I was more than satisfied with the regular size. The 2-for-1 special easily stretched into several meals, making it an outstanding value. The seaweed salad and fried gyoza were also delicious and made for the perfect sides. A menu board sitting in front of the truck had their menu for today. They had BBQ pork sandwiches, pork plates, rib plates, bbq nachos, wings, roasted corn, bbq beans, pineapple lemonade, and more. The service here was fast and friendly. The prices are about what you would expect for bbq. I got the bbq pork sandwich for $9, the rib plate with two sides -roasted corn and beans- for $18, and a pineapple lemonade for $4. Two people for $36. The amount of food you get is very generous. The bbq pork sandwich was pretty basic, just pork and sauce, but it was huge. Pork and sauce poured over the bun to fill the biggest portion of the to go plate. The meat was tender and juicy and is somewhere between pulled and chopped. The bbq sauce isn't overly sweet and has a spicy kick. It's not a hot sauce but if you are sensitive to heat, you may want to choose something else. There is a bit of after burn. My mom couldn't eat it due to an extreme aversion to spice but I had it later for dinner and I enjoyed it very much. The real star for me was the rib plate. These ribs were huge, tender, and moist, with just enough bite to keep them from falling off the bone. They are rubbed with spices and you have the option of bbq sauce, which I got. Get plenty of napkins because you will need them. These are some of the best ribs I've had in a while. I wanted to suck the bones. My sides were roasted corn and baked beans. Both of these had a little kick of heat to them, so once again, if you can't stand spice look out. Both side items were delicious. Let's talk about the pineapple lemonade. When I saw it was $4, I almost skipped it, but am I ever glad I didn't! This lemonade is so refreshing, sweet, and smooth I could have happily finished off a gallon or more. It's very sweet and there is little tang. It was so worth it. If you see this truck, get over there quick, you don't want to miss out.

My friends and I ended up coming here for dinner however we had appetizers. I did have a strawberry Tres Leche dessert, which was amazing. I had two strawberry margaritas which he said was seasonal equally delicious. We had cheese dip, bean dip, guacamole, street corn dip, salsa, and some nachos. There was a total of five of us. They do not take reservations. I arrived here about a little before 6 PM on a Saturday night and the weight was about 30 minutes. They take your phone number down and then they alert you when your table is ready. The bar is really nice. I would definitely like to come back and maybe sit at the bar and also try one of their entrées because the menu looked amazing. I definitely will be back here. It looked like it had a good amount of shrimp, but they looked extremely unseasoned. I didn't taste it, but even for the sake of presentation I think some color would have done the quesadilla good. They also didn't use the in house tortilla which was a little disappointing. I can only imagine how much it would have elevated such a basic dish. My food was ready right on time, and I grabbed my bottle of Sprite from the front cooler before I headed back to work. I got back to the office and dug into the bowl. The flavor was bright and fresh. My go-to is the spicy tuna poke, and I load up my bowl with a ton of toppings and finish it with wasabi aioli. I don't usually add a side dish as the poke bowl is very filling on its own. But this time, I decided to try the gyoza and the fries, since I was with friends who could share with me. The gyoza was pretty good, perfectly fried to a light and crispy texture, with a tasty chicken filling. I don't think the spicy mayo that it is served with actually complements the gyoza well, so I ordered ponzu sauce instead, which went nicely. The fries were well-cooked as well, but the furikake seasoning is just sprinkled on top so doesn't really add too much to the flavor. Now here, the spicy mayo was a good complement, but needed a higher ratio of sriracha sauce to mayo. My friends had never been to Ono Poke before, and they very much enjoyed their bowls.
