I am starting to venture into foods from other cultures more and Yummefy was on my list to try. Upon arriving, I was greeted warmly and told to sit where I chose. My drink order was taken (water) and my server, who answered all of my questions, was very patient and pleasant. For my appetizer, I ordered the spring rolls. They were freshly made and came out hot and crispy. I enjoyed them and would order them again. Now the main course. I opted for the spicy Himalayan chicken, medium heat. I love spicy food, and I thought I was doing the right thing by ordering the medium level. However, it was very spicy! I did notice however, that the longer it sat, the level evened out some. Still, on my next visit, I will try the mild level to compare. The dish was delicious and very flavorful. The white rice added just the right amount of coolness to the chicken and veggies. Upon leaving, I ordered the drunken noodles with chicken in mild. I'm not sure if it's because it's a totally different flavor profile, but the mild has very little spicy. I just can't believe it's that much difference between the mild and medium levels. The drunken noodles were just okay, in my opinion. There was not a lot of juice, spice not flavor in this dish. On my next visit, I will stick with the Himalayan chicken and order it in mild just to test out my theory. Found this place accidentally and decided to try it out. To my surprise they serve alcoholic beverages and have a pretty extensive menu but didn't get to try. Cashier was pleasant and accommodating. Decorated nicely. Got my food to go and I was nearly finished with it before l thought about taking a picture. Really amazing Indian food and the chili naan is mouth watering. Gorkhali Chicken- Chicken and vegetables grilled to perfection! Slightly sautéed in a Nepali sauce and served with rice. Aloo Naan- I actually had no intention to order this. We ordered the aloo paratha, but after we ordered we were asked if we'd be okay with aloo naan instead. I would've ordered garlic naan instead, as the potato taste overpowered the naan. It was a very fluffy and fresh batch of naan, although not my personal favorite. Our server was SO sweet and made sure that we got to choose our spice levels for each dish. This place claims to have a variety of Asian foods, such as Thai, Indian, Nepali, and Chinese. Quite honestly, it was an absolute disappointment. The Nepali Pork Momo was disgusting. I hated it and didn't finish it. The meat tasted processed and the flavors were overwhelming. Nothing about tasted authentic or fresh. My chicken wasn't bad and the flavors from the grill were great, but unfortunately it was very dry and even though it was dark meat which cooks pretty fast, I assumed that this chicken was either pre-cooked earlier in the morning or the night before in order to be ready so quickly and cooked all the way through. I guess I shouldn't expect too much in an area such as this for Asian food since this is not a predominantly Asian area, but I was still hopeful. I had the day off of work so I wanted to go catch the all you can eat buffet! It's normally just weekdays and during the hours I work. So I was excited to get to check it out! Sam and Rose greeted us with a smile. They are so kind. They allowed us to switch to our usual table once the patrons finished their meal. I tried a little bit of everything on the Buffet. They have white rice as well as fried rice (not the same as you get from Chinese restaurant, but good!). Every.single.thing.had amazing flavor!!!! I am a butter chicken lover so of course I enjoyed that. But the tandoori chicken and darzeeling potatoes were incredible!!! The lentil soup is packed with flavor and has a bit of a kick to it. So good! Even their rice pudding was full of flavor and creamy consistency. I believe the brunch is about $15. Great value and ready to eat, so a quick lunch is possible. Go try this place out! This place never disappoints. The food is excellent and full of flavor. The owners, Rose and Sam, are such sweet people, and they run a great restaurant. They are originally from Nepal and we've been to Nepal and India. Their Nepalese and Indian food is authentic. We have tried many different Nepalese and Indian dishes, and they have all been delicious. They have a buffet at lunch, and it's wonderful. You can still order off the menu at lunch if you prefer. Be sure to order momo (Nepalese dumplings). Oh, so good. And the dipping sauce kicks up the flavor even more. The service is always great. Restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is welcoming. We ordered massaman chicken curry, chicken pad Thai, tofu drunken noodles. The Indian tea was the best we've tasted. The drunken noodle was perfectly seasoned with the right amount of heat ( I ordered level 3). My husband loved his curry and my son finished his pad Thai in record time. And don't forget their garlic naan. It was made while we were there. So delucious. Can't say enough about their food and the people are so polite. My friends and I came in for an early dinner--the restaurant was quiet but relaxed and cute inside. The man who served us was super helpful and kind, and our food came quickly and was delicious. We started with buttery, fluffy naan bread, but the mains were absolutely the highlight. This place is a Nepali/Indian spot but has more general pan-asian options as well. I was worried about being unadventurous but got the drunken noodles at the recommendation of the owner, and it was genuinely the best iteration of the dish i have had. The flavor had much more depth than the generic, sometimes overly sweet sauce typical of americanized chinese cuisine. I ordered it medium spicy and found it fairly mild. Service was just okay because our waitress was difficult to understand. She is very soft-spoken and has a strong Asian accent. There is no lunch menu, and the dinner portions are big for lunch. On our visit, the food was served in to-go containers so it was very easy to take the leftovers home. I ordered the Spicy Himalayan Chicken and thought it was just okay. The chicken had a thick batter that really masked the chicken. The sauce was spicy and a hint of sweetness. It is stir fried with vegetables and served with rice. David ordered the Spicy Mountain Noodles with shrimp. I'm assuming this is a Napali dish. The dish is similar to Chinese stir-fry noddles, but the sauce is dry. This dish was spicy and we liked the flavor. I was disappointed because the shrimp were very small. As a bonus, if you check-in on the Yelp app you get 10% discount. The momo was delicious along with the dipping sauces but I was not pleased with the drunken noodles. There was one ingredient that was completely off putting for me; however, the owner listened and i told her i wanted what my mom ordered and she was super polite and caused no issue to get that fixed. Read the reviews from Yelp and thought I'd give this small biz a try. I was incredibly disappointed! Not only was the food bad, but the service was terrible. If the lady would have come to my table and ask if everything was alright, then I would have told her. She stayed seated behind the counter, and only came over to take my order, deliver my food, and bring the bill. The place was dark and had a slight sewage smell. The owners are Nepalese, and I will say the Nepalese food is a 10/10! They gave plenty of sauces with the momos, and the himalayan chicken was a perfect spice level! The drunken noodles were good, maybe an 8/10. I am also very pleased with the portion sizes for the price - tasty and you get good bang for your buck! The food came out relatively quickly and although we were warned that it may be spicy, was not as spicy as we expected (we got medium spice). The chicken biryani was definitely the spiciest from the heat from the Thai chili (the yogurt-cucumber-carrot sauce will cool down the spice). The tandoori chicken was nice and pepper-y, the veggies adding another smokey flavor to the dish. The pork momos were standard dumplings - I couldn't say the coconut curry dipping sauce was a good accoutrement though. The garlic naan was basic, nothing noteworthy. The shrimp & chicken drunken noodles were not great - don't recommend it. I said to make it spicy and boy did they! I was sweating from the first bite! Unfortunately, despite all the heat, the dish was severely lacking in flavor. Hubby had the shrimp fried rice. He was really impressed with the amount of shrimp in his dish. But again, his dish lacked flavor as well. We took home some banana cake for dessert and that was really really good. I'm not a big Indian food fan but love Chinese so I was interested when I heard Asian fusion. I went with a basic dish of chicken fried rice. They use basmati rice which is my favorite but the rice and chicken are more curry flavor like you'd find in most Indian restaurants. It was enjoyable but I was hoping for more Chinese flavor. Saw the amazing review and thought i should try since its also very close to my hotel. I ordered the Pork Belly rice and drunken noodles(spicy) and oh, it was really impressive.
