Curry corner is the cutest new addition to the English village. Tucked into quite literally a corner, this is a sweet and casual restaurant with a good amount of seating inside. Take out is also available, which I'll be taking advantage of in the future! Service is quick and accurate. We loved everything we ordered, and as you can see phone did not eat first for this review. We loved that you can pick different spice levels, and the spicy hot is accurate. Their menu is quite expansive, and I cannot wait to come back to try other menu items! A wonderful Indian restaurant - delicious food and great service. Drove over an hour to try it out - would do it again!

Do you love Indian food? Don't pass this little quaint restaurant up! (But be prepared for parking.) Visited here with sis in law and the veggie biryani was so beautifully flavored! The samosas were well filled and had nice sauce pairings. The waitress was so kind and checked back often. We came right after opening and had the calmest atmosphere, literally to ourselves at the beginning. read more

Curry corner is a welcome addition to Mountain Brook. They have a great menu with various dishes you won't find at other Indian food places. The chili fry momo was the highlight for me. Everything else we ordered was flavorful and they were able to tailor it as spicy as we asked for. read more

Very good food. I feel like Taj, Bay Leaf and Sliver Coin are quite similar in their takes on Indian cuisine. Perhaps the folks at Curry Corner are from a slightly different area/background because the food is a bit different. Go there for that reason alone and your lunch/dinner will be great. Their momos are superb, served in a chili sauce. The chicken Methi malai, with a bit of fenugreek, just excellent. The rice accompaniment is a fragrant long grain Basmati. So glad there is finally a delicious and reasonably priced Indian restaurant in bham. I hate Taj since the curries are so watery. I used to like Bay Leaf but they turned it into expensive fine dining and became unaffordable. Silver coin is mediocre. Additionally the other places only gave me three pieces of meat per $20 portion. Curry corner delivers in flavor and value. Love the curry but most of all loved the samosa chaat which many places don't have. I will be back regularly. read more

Curry Corner is always on rotation when I can't decide what I want to eat. I have ordered from here numerous times, and both restaurant service and pick-up orders are very fast. The service here is great, the staff is very friendly, and the food is always consistent. If you are a vegetarian, this place has many options. Some of my favorites are the Dal Makhani and the Aloo Gobi. No meal would be complete without garlic naan! Each portion is typically enough to last me two meals. For the price, you can't beat that. Parking for this restaurant is a little tricky with all of the other businesses that are around it, but there is a parking lot just across the street! read more

Eh, I think the reviews are overrated. Ordered butter chicken, potosi naan & spring rolls to go. While I waited for the to go order people sitting at the tables inside the restaurant I couldn't help notice how they give a lot of rice and a little bit of everything else. Oh and a lot of sauce to go with the rice the packaging for me to order is poorly executed. I got a mound of rice a half a quart of butter sauce I mentioned I was staying at a hotel so please make sure I have utensils and that if a plates needed or a bigger container to accommodate the food please do so well now it all comes in separate little containers so how do I even pour the butter sauce on top of the rice because the containers don't accommodate eating out of it to go box. So they need bigger boxes so she can mix the food together or add a plate. The chicken in the butter sauce was skimpy. It was cut up into little bits and pieces and amount of a very little if it had nice chunks of chicken breast I would've probably only had three pieces by dicing it up and having strips of it, they stretch it out, but it was overcooked the chicken and really horrible.I don't think people have much options so this place gets scored a little bit better than normal and it's in an upper up neighborhood, but other than that, it sucked. read more

Wow! Good food, friendly faces, and wonderful service. If you have not tried Indian food before try Curry Corner. We were presented with lentil crackers with two dipping sauces which set our taste buds up for our entrees. We had the chicken tika masala, momo fry chicken, and garlic onion naan. If you are not into spicy order a 1 or 2 level, we got a 3 and it was up there. The flavors were great and food was plentiful. I am planning my next visit right now. I am giving Curry Corner a 5 star review because what they do- they do excellently!! Food was great- service was excellent with a welcoming smile and they had a tv with both the AL and Auburn games on- so I sat awhile awhile and watched the game with a glass of chardonnay and an order of samosas. Very nice!! The samosas were some of the best I have ever had- crispy and the filling very flavorful with the tamarind and mint sauces. I ordered Lamb Vindaloo medium spicy and an order of plain naan bread to go for later and they were delicious!! The place is nice and clean- white cloth napkins + and tables nicely spaced. I recommend the Curry Corner to everyone. They have an extensive menu- something for every taste. If you are not familiar with Indio cuisine, start with something simple like the vegetable samosas, tikki masala, butter chicken and then experiment. First visit was right when they opened. Got the Chicken Biryani and the dumplings. Dumplings were good but the biryani was excellent. Just went again and got the chicken kirahi which was also incredible. Both times got the garlic naan which was epic. I don't think they make a bad dish. Place freakin smacks. So so good. read more
