I have been desperately wanting to try this food truck for years. I mean years! The other week we pulled into the Sam's in Trussville and the food truck was parked in front of the building. I was so excited and we hurried. Lee purchased our items so we could go outside and place an order for lunch. We got in line at just the right time before the crowd appeared. We ordered some chicken tacos and some Biria tacos. Both were excellent and seasoned perfectly. I wish I would have mentioned to remove the raw onions because no one in my household likes those, so we did have to do some picking out but they gave it some nice flavor. My daughter and I were so excited to finally see wings on the food truck so we made plans to go there and pick up dinner. We got there a little before 4:30 just to make sure they wouldn't run out. We ordered the hot honey Cajun wings (which came with fries) and an order of the OG tacos. We ged home and I tell my daughter to go ahead and eat. I go back in the kitchen only to see 2 half eaten wings. I knew then something was wrong because she loves wings. I grab a couple along with some fries. To my dismay the fries were very undercooked and the wings had absolutely no flavor. I added hot sauce and ranch but still the wings were not good. They had more chewy skin than anything. I've heard so much about this food truck and how delicious the food is that I have been on the watch for the location(s). After much effort, I wasn't able to get to the truck until we saw it located on site for Magic City Classic 2023. We wanted something to snack on while things were being set up to tailgate. I tried this food truck while at the hospital with my mom. Their menu consists of bbq brisket, chicken, and beef tacos, quesadillas, and beef pizza. You get 4 brisket or chicken tacos with o.g. sauce and pico for $15. I ordered the brisket. The smell coming from the truck is mouthwatering. The staff is friendly. I love that you get a pager for your order so you can duck out of the cold and there is no confusion over who's order is up. They take cash and credit/debit via square. My order was up pretty quickly considering they cook to order. The brisket tacos were picture perfect. They were amazing! These were so flavorful. I FINALLY got my hands on some Fat Charles BBQ. I've been trying to catch this food truck for months! I noticed this morning that the food truck was going to be at my husband's job today. My husband just so happened to have a meeting onsite today that ended around 10:00 but he hung around until 11:00 to get us some food. He was second in line so his wait was not long. She was so excited for me because she knows I am a taco aficionado and I have tried tacos all along the southwest, TX, Mexico, etc. I feel bad that it didn't quite live up to her hype. I got the brisket birria tacos and I wouldn't consider this a birria taco. The meat was very dry so not sure if it was cooked as a birria. Poor service and poor appearance. The menu is not visible at all. The menu was written on a dry erase board with part of the wording missing because it was smudged off. Tacos are $15 like come on..
