We love this place! The tacos are amazing, and we love the queso. Our order got a little messed up. We ordered several tacos and an order of chips and queso and 3 drinks. We didn't realize it, but we were charged for 3 quesos. They realized it when they offered us 3 quesos, and they let us keep the quesos and refunded my card. These tacos are absolutely delicious! We don't get downtown very often, but when we do, hubby always wants to get a taco from Unos Tacos. They are different than those in the usual Mexican restaurant. The street tacos are our favorite. Everything is fresh and tasty. You get your order, then head over to the Louis Bar for a beer or margarita to wash the down...can't get much better than that! read more

First, let's begin with the free parking. I appreciate the free parking available to the Pizitz customers. The vibe of this space gives off a relaxing, chilled ambiance. Great place to network. So, I ordered a meatless taco salad.($8). The serving size was enough for two. The flavor was really good. The white sauce mixed with the rice and beans was really good. A little more sauce on the salad would have been a 5 rating. The service was great. I ordered and the food was brought out to me. Thrilled to finally try this place and man it was outstanding. Definitely the best of the Pizitz offerings. I had to go for the Birria Tacos after seeing them all over the socials, and they were everything I hoped they would be. I have had the dish at other places but the flavor Uno's brings the dish is really unique. The consommé is sweet, the beef is tender as can be, and they provide you with this green sauce that is just... wow. This meal did come in at $15 (before tax) which is pretty freaking steep for 3 tacos and some broth. I don't know if this is just Pizitz tax, inflation, or their pricing but I can't say I'd bite that bullet often. I usually don't go into pricing, as it is variable, but I did want to make everyone aware. No complaints about customer service, and the food came out quicker than I expected. Eh. I was not impressed. I had seen pictures of the food at this place that my friend Ashley would post on Facebook, etc. and it would always look so amazing and mouthwatering! I finally went to try it a few days ago with my family. My mom liked it, but I have had better Mexican at places like Chipotle and Moe's. I ordered the steak nachos for about $13. You can get this at Chipotle/Moe's for about $10 so I don't think I would eat here again. The nachos were good. I liked that queso came with it and wasn't an extra charge like it usually is. The pico and beans were good too. The steak was the biggest let down. I don't think it was actually steak. It was some sort of ground up beef? Maybe cubed steak? I think the name is misleading and they should just call it beef rather than give customers a high expectation. I really wanted to like this place, but I may just have to explore other options till something else here catches my eye. read more

Chuy and crew do a fabulous job! We stopped in recently to get some curbside and shared tacos, tostados and a quesadilla! We mixed up the meats trying all the choices pollo, asada and chorizo. All were delicious. I'm usually not a big chorizo fan but here at Unos I'm a convert. We also had the guacamole and queso. The guac had chunks of fresh avocado and was great! Decided to get some grub here while doing happy hour at the Louie in the Pizitz. They operate in a fast casual system out of one of the Pizitz food stalls. The service was pretty quick and the employees were very nice. We got some queso, guacamole, and red salsa. They were all good, my favorite would be the queso but none of them were standouts. I got the a Chorizo Quesadilla for my entree. The black beans were very tasty and seemed to be seasoned very well and the rice is very typical nothing special to it "Mexican rice". The quesadilla itself was very tasty, a bit too greasy maybe, but that's my bad for ordering chorizo. Overall a very convenient place to get some grub while at the Pizitz. read more

Went to Pizitz today about 3:30pm, so there weren't too many options for a late lunch, so we chose Unos Tacos, and boys was it a good choice! We had the carnitas tacos and nachos and were very pleased. They have two options for tacos, the traditional street taco option, with salsa verde, onions and cilantro, then another option with lettuce and cheese. We opted for the traditional street taco and they were fresh and authentic. Will be back soon! read more
