I cannot believe the rude service i received from this restaurant. I ordered bagels for delivery through doordash and received bagels And no cream cheese. when i called Bagel Me the woman that answered my call accused me of calling in and specifically telling her no cream cheese and i had not called them at all. She told me tough luck and she had no responsibility or affiliation with DoorDash. The only positive thing i can say is the bagels are good, even without cream cheese. read more

It's July 4th. It's 12:30pm. We're still in our semi-jammies reading the paper. Hubby decides to jonez for a bagel with lox schmear. Ok. This is 3 blocks away. I go online to look at the menu. The heaven's part and the angel's sing: a bbq chicken salad. My go-to on any menu. At $7.99, the same price as a half order of same at the best- CPK. LivetoGo allows me to order and pay on line, it's supposed to be ready in 20 minutes. Hubby plants a hat on his head and rolls out, it's ready for him on arrival. He enjoyed his bagel, which I didn't think was too too too overpriced at $2.99. It is the Circle (not the damned 'Plaza', thankyouverymuch). There was plenty of schmear, with plenty of lox in it. Well toasted multi-grain bagel. My salad was very good. And my standards are very high. Pros: Fresh corn. Lots of moist chicken. All the good stuff- black beans, cilantro, red onion and cheese. Very creamy ranch dressing and a surprisingly good bbq sauce served on the side, along with some tortilla chips for sprinkling. Cons: Really inconsistent lettuce size ( see high standards). Not enough of the 'good stuffs'. The tortilla chips absolutely suck. They get soggy in about 3 minutes and lend a stale, nasty corn-like-substance distraction to the salad. It was good. It's 3 blocks away. If I had to drive, it would get 3 stars and less of my business. read more

Ok it's called Bagel Me but I didn't eat any bagels here! I had a smoothie and French fries, yes the dinner of champions! Both were good. A friend of a friend had some huge hamburger that she said everyone raves about. She said it was worth the hype. read more

It just literally took 25 minutes to get one bagel with cream cheese and it was the incorrect one. First time there and the last. I even tried to get my money back and they just handed me the correct bagel that they had already given someone else. Do not recommend to anyone unless they have free time. read more

This place in Orange was better a year ago. It's not good. The bagel sandwiches have no flavor. The egg has no flavor, the cheese is super greasy. The bagel itself is not bagel-like. It's more of a crumb inside like an under-baked bread. Not the bubbly texture of a properly prepared, proofed etc bagel. They also forgot to give us the bagel chips. Their Watermelon Shooter smoothie is by far the best thing on the menu. Everything else is aiight. I love the salmon shmear, but once they gave me the lox and cream cheese and forgot to toast my bagel. It was wrapped in foil so I couldn't see the mistake. Another time, there was SO LITTLE shmear on the bagel, like the person who made it tried to spread the last of what they had thinly around and was too lazy to open up a new tub. Also, it took unusually long for my single bagel order to be made and it wasn't crowded. The location gets major points, though. Orange Circle is fab. You can bet that if there was a Noah's Bagels nearby, though, that's where I'd be instead. read more

I love to eat lox bagels and this place really disappoints. It was 9:00 am on a non-busy Saturday. For one thing, I got it to-go. Note: Always check your food before you go somewhere. I'm sorry to say that our visit this morning was not as good as it could have been. The young woman at the counter was focused on taking orders, no upselling (the last time I had the pleasure of going there the cashier was smiling, she asked if I wanted to add sliced red onion, capers to my cream cheese and loxs slices meal--one bagel, (mine was cheese, by request) cream cheese ,sliced loxs (salmon), bagel chips, and a snack size container of cooked apples with cinnamon). After we recieved our orders, a cut in half cheese bagel with cream cheese, with slices of loxs on them, the cooked apples, but no bagel chips on the plate. As there had been no mention of a problem when we ordered, I finished my meal, and asked the young woman why they were not there. She informed me that they did not have any, and gave me a tight smile as I thanked her for the information. She went back to making a smoothie or drink for another order. Perhaps the young woman was stressed and preoccupied with getting the orders taken and then getting them to the customers waiting for them, as there were only two persons working-- the young woman and the lady preparing the food as ordered. Still, it would have been better customer service had she explained beforehand about the bagel chips, and maybe offered a substitute or made an alternate suggestion. Would their management consider having another employee working during the morning shift to assist them, and lower the counter person's stress? read more

Their food is still a go-to for my cranberry turkey bagel sandwich cravings, however, it seems they have changed management sometime in the past couple years- meaning new chefs. The food is still great but its not on the quality par with what it used to be. The food usually comes out pretty messy looking too. It's hard enough eating my cranberry turkey bagel without all the insides falling out. I don't need them to hand it to me pre-disected. On a side note, if you didn't already pick it up- cranberry turkey bagel sandwich is the way to go, though I'm not gonna lie; you can make it yourself just as easily. read more

Got breakfast here once, they messed up my order and forgot some items. They also can't accommodate anyone wanting egg whites, I was told they "don't have egg whites". Their bagel sandwiches served their purpose, and are served open faced. I got the green chile with egg and onion bagel and my wife got the egg with veggie bagel sandwich. Prices are fair. read more

Well I must say if you got 20 or 30 bucks in your pocket burning a hole and you're slightly hungry just want to nibble on something then this is a great place but if you're hungry by any means then I definitely suggest going elsewhere service was good (even if I could only barely understand the waitresses second language) the bagel was decent but I do have to say I don't believe it was worth anywhere near the $9.00 price that they're charging even for the orange circle I ordered an egg cheese and bacon bagel and I'm realizing while I'm eating it the egg is not even real it's powdered the bacon was very thin and very small strips and , I noticed on the bagels the center holes are larger than they used to be when I used to come here before which tells me they are cutting product size and charging more and I hate it when restaurants do that, so I won't be coming here no more!! thanks for reading read more

fake bread-bagels. not worth going for crappy bagles. doesn't anyone in california know how to make a real bagel? service was a tad slow, but is generally pleasant. I'm fairly sure this location doens't make bagels on-site. Food quality should be higher for such an expensive bagel sandhwich/whatever you get. It's just inexcuseable to have a BAGEL store, with BAGEL in the name that has awful bagels. The last place i knew that poulled this one off was dominoes pizza, but i think bagel me has surpasses the grandaddy of unfortunate store names. i've been nothing but let-down by crappy bagels in california. When I have to go to a damned chain store (Einstein bros?) to get anything close to a real bagel, you know that something is super super wrong. I love orange circle bagel me! I come a few mornings per week and I always have my favorite bagel before going to work: chocolate chip toasted with strawberry cream cheese. The coffee is also very good, hot, and fresh- not bitter and overpowering like Starbucks. The new menu boards look great and now I'm thinking I have to try the french toast bagel! Slow service, confused employees, overpriced bagels, and disappointing food. We got a sausage, egg, and cheese bagel and an everything bagel with cream cheese and avocado. They hardly put any cream cheese on it and the amount of avocado was hardly worth the extra cost. He sausage, egg, and cheese bagel was slightly humorous, as they just threw sausage links on the bagels and called it quits. Good bagel place in downtown orange... We walk into town and get coffee (Starbucks across the street) and bagels (chocolate chip and strawberry). This place has fresh tasty bagels and a wide selection. There's a low key atmosphere and a nice patio outside. some folks are super nice(John!), others there is less of a personal connection. One thing that annoys me: styrofoam cups for soda. Really? In 2014? C'mon, paper cups are just as cheap and better for the environment. read more

Over priced! Two plain bagels and two breakfast sandwich's was $26. Wait was over 30 minutes to go! And the bagels were super hard.

This place is gross. I got an egg sandwich on wheat bagel and there was PEANUT BUTTER mushed in the crevices of the to-go container. Why? The only reason I can think of is this place has a dirty kitchen where foods get mixed in places they don't belong, and staff that apparently doesn't pay attention to any of it. There were also random bits of onion (I think crumbs from an onion bagel?) mushed in the cheese. The place was almost empty, by the way. As a former service industry worker I try to tip well and be sympathetic, but this was a really off-putting experience-- especially for an $11 bagel. read more

Fairly new to Orange, I remember there was a bagel place right in the Orange circle. Being off on a Friday I was craving for a delicious lox bagel- one of my favorites to have for breakfast. I ordered the lox bagel with a side of avocados. My friend ordered the cinnamon raisin bagel with a watermelon cooler juice. Total came to $17. Service was good for being busy on a Friday morning and despite other reviews. My lox bagel did not skimp on the salmon so I was happy. Wished they put capers on the lox but was satisfying regardless. I wld have preferred toasted but next time will request for this preference. They have a good breakfast selection here. I recently stopped in out of curiosity becauase im so sick of mcdonalds breakfast.....i never had a fresh baked bagel before only store bought but after one bagel i will only est fresh bagels...this place has alot of varieties of bagels and fresh made cream cheese blend i love the strawberry one and lox one ive treid a few lunch items as well suck as irish nachos and bagel grilled chicken sandwich ....great place and freindly staff...i will recomend to friends who want to try something new in the mornings or for lunch read more

I have been here for breakfast twice and I really like it. I order the Bagel Me French Toast really good. The only problem I had was the first time I came here with a friend I got my food a lot earlier than she did so by the time her food arrived mine was barely warm but other than that it was good. This place would have been good if they would have just got my order right. This was my first time coming to Bagel Me and I came here because it was closest place I could find to where I live now. The bagels themselves are decent and the wait staff was friendly but they royally screwed up my order and it wasn't even busy. I ordered 2 bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches on onion bagels and 2 onion bagels toasted with cream cheese, red onion and tomatoes. I got the breakfast sandwiches on plain bagels, one sandwich didn't have bacon and the other two bagels ended up being cheesy onion bagels untoasted with cream cheese only. Didn't notice until I got home. Never had that big of a screw up ever. read more
