I've been coming here for many years. I love their bagels. I usually get the onion-cheese bagel with jalapeno-onion cream cheese. It comes open faced and I usually get sliced tomato on it too. I have never ordered anything more complicated here. I've noticed they have a pretty extensive menu, but I always stick to the basics. For Chapman students, Bagel Me really is a staple. I'll be honest- I've only ever really been here for hungover food. They have everything, though: coffees, smoothies, egg melts and cottage fries if you're in a greasy mood...or a Veggie Delight and fresh squeezed OJ if you're trying to cleanse your soul from your Thursday night at the District. You can even order online (although I prefer phoning in- it's usually done quicker and you don't have to make a stupid account to do it) and run in and out of the store in your PJs if you're feeling extra haggard. Because let's be honest, you can't ever go to Bagel Me without running into somebody you know. Staff is always friendly, even when they're super busy. Fresh bagels and will take phone orders. I ordered a lox sandwich and it was nearly ready when I came by around 8am to pick it up. The staff was nice and accommodating. They have tons of sandwiches to choose from or just plan old bagels and cream cheese - whatever your heart desires. I don't know what happened to the quality of this business but I'm highly disappointed. Last time I had bagel me was when there was a store in Anaheim hills. It was great but they closed shop for some reason. This place I've been to before and they were good but now...the cashier took and while to get my order as well as the person in front of me. Then I waited a little too long for just a toasted bagel. They had no other customers in the place so I can't justify their slow service. When my food arrived it was cold and barely toasty. There was no excuse. The place looked a little run down as if it was going out of business. I will not return anymore. Very sad. read more

My friend insisted that I go here. She attributes this place to all the weight she gained in college. I honestly didn't have that high of expectations but I was wrong! I ordered the BLT bagel sandwich (add avocado and swiss cheese) with fries and an iced coffee with soy milk. I ate the fries (with the good kind of ranch) for breakfast, half the sandwich for lunch, and the second half for dinner. It was that BIG! The portion of bacon was above and beyond my expectations. The fries were crispy and seasoned perfectly. The only deficit was that they don't serve almond milk, but I'll live. Totally worth the visit! read more

So I started out wanting to rate this place 5 stars. I have been going to bagel me (not this location) since I was in middle school. I haven't been to one in about 5 years though but I always crave their delicious glazer bagel. So I decided to go to this one and I was so disappointed. I think every bagel me is known for THE WORST SERVICE EVER. Even the owner is extremely rude. Well we ordered and sat down at the table and not long after the glazer bagel came out with regular fries and I order irish nachos so he took them back. Right before that I was thinking to myself I should write them a good review, however I just kept knocking stars off. When he came back with the Irish nachos I noticed that it only had one kind of cheese and was missing the tomatoes and green onions. I really didn't want to say anything at this point so I sucked it up. Half way through my Irish nachos I realized we didn't get our smoothie?!!? The guy left it in the blender. Nice little and quick little bagel shop. They have a delicious cheese+everything bagel that I totally recommend. The fresh squeezed orange juice is also a major bonus! They are currently putting in new TV menus and updating the shop a bit. Can't wait to check it out once it's all put together! Only down side is that there isn't enough indoor seating since the restaurant is so small, but there are plenty of outdoor seats available. read more

I really like this place. Breakfast sandwiches are incredible. I loved the crunchy beacon in my salad. They did forget the blue cheese so review your order before you leave. They're bagel variety is very unique- love the cheese and onion! You can't find that just anywhere. I also like that they treat bagels more like a meal than just a bagel. A lot of their menu options come with cinnamon apples (the breakfast options) or bagel chips (the lunch options). With a big party or on a crowded day, beware. They have the "take your number" system. Last time we were there, they brought out the wrong food to the wrong number numerous times. Also, there was logic behind the order in which the food came out. The people that placed their order first in our party got their food last. read more

Although the bagels are delicious, they are overpriced. And to charge for slicing is ridiculous ($2 to slice bagels per dozen). I called to place my order and they would not take my phone order unless I provided them a credit card. I was driving at the time. The last time I was here they were busy and gave my order to someone else and I kept waiting and waiting and finally asked where it was and they then realized they gave it to the wrong person. If it were not for the food, I would give this location no stars. I have been there several times when there is no line and it takes 20 min to get a bagel and coffee. Three working but mostly standing around. Today I went in and ordered a bagel and coffee. Place had about 5 people in line and they were overwhelmed. Manager could not find orders and people were getting upset. What was very clear is the owner was not present and the staff were not trained to handle a normal work load. Some of the staff were saying they are not trained, and it seems like the manager was juggling three different order systems. There were 2 Postmate and 1 DoorDash deliverers waiting for orders. One of them had been there for 45 min. My sense is the place will not be there in the future. It's poorly run. Great location but clearly the owner is not spending time working with his staff. Go there if it's not during peak hours. Otherwise go somewhere else. After 30 min and no bagel and coffee......I asked for a refund ....... the manager could not find my order in the system and re-entered it to determine my refund. I'm willing to pay $10 for a bagel and coffee if it's done in a timely manner, but not if I have to wait 35 min. Only reason for my post is I have been there many times and it's clear it's run poorly. Great location. read more

Way better than Einstein's on campus. The cheesy everything bagel is unlike any other bagel I've ever had, and the veggie cream cheese is delicious, although a little runnier that I would prefer.
