Service is terrible & slow. We were seated almost immediately after walking through the doors, but not before I was able to get a glimpse of a couple having to bring their check to the hostess so that they could pay & leave. That should have been my first tip that the place was slow serviced. After we sat we looked through the menu & were ready to order 5 mins after being seated. Not one person came up to our table to ask us for our drink orders or anything. A waitress was too busy flirting with the table of guys next ours that she couldn't care less about taking our order or asking if everything was okay. There were 3 waitresses walking around doing nothing but chit chatting. Finally after 15 minutes of waiting just for someone to come to our table & introduce themselves as our waiter/waitress, we got up & left. Probably would still be waiting if we didn't leave. I had a very nice experience here. I had the new tex mex salad with the grilled rib eye steak. Salad had lots of really great veggies, delicious dressing, wonderful textures, great portion. The steak was delicious and so tender. I am already wanting another one. Busy place, cocktail was very nice. I did not have one of the crazy indulgent milk-shakes that most people were getting. Came into town to look at a boat and this was by far the highlight of the trip. Good looking place with exposed brick and antique pillars. Burgers were huge and very tasty. Had lunch here yesterday, I must say service was Shakey, we almost walked out but wanted to give it a shot,so we waited for a while for someone to take our order. Hubby and I ordered and brought it home. Mistake. You can't send back undercooked food from home. Our hamburgers, ordered medium were not only rare, but raw actually cool inside. Big turn off. Pricey too. The giant pretzel tasted like burned, salty bread and the Brussels were hard,actually too hard to spear with a fork. Was in the area with my cousins and a friend and we were looking for a casual place to eat. The aroma coming out of Babylon Burger Bar drew us in. We were a party of six and were seated right away. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. We started with some buffalo wings with the sauce on the side and then we ordered some burgers and the grilled chicken avocado sandwich. The burgers looked amazing and our sandwich was delish. The fries were great too with a side of garlic mayo sauce that was excellent. We came here on a Saturday night. Service was terrible but food was very good. We had the turkey burger, beyond vegan burger, and a bacon cheese burger. The waitress was rude and clearly hated her job. She was cursing, kept telling us the place was way too loud, and then insisted on telling me how I should be eating my hamburger. I could see suggesting something maybe one time but she came back multiple times and kept giving me shit for not eating my burger the way she wanted me to. Also she told us that she steals the beyond vegan burgers from the shipment that comes in. The most unprofessional waitress we've ever encountered. We ordered the $15 shake which really wasn't that good at all, definitely wouldn't recommend. The waitress gave us spoons for the shake and they were all dirty and disgusting. Also the tap water tasted really bad, imagine drinking toilet water, disgusting! The waitress never asked us if we wanted dessert and she gave us the check super early because she said might forget about us. Nice selection of burgers and options - lots of add ones which can make a burger pricey but with that said...had black and blue burger - bacon was delicious, blue cheese melted, burger flavorful with a good combination of different cuts of beef. Excellent fries with a tasty, garlicky dipping sauce. Wonderful server who made some suggestions and discussed burger options. Christine was a very friendly manager who came by to check out our meal. Specialty cocktail list kind of ordinary but the bartender Ernie is open to mix up whatever you'd like. My only complaint - $2.95 for a child's soda is ridiculous, charge a dollar and add it to kid's menu if you have to- most kids meals include a drink. read more

Cool, casual, and delicious. Exactly what we were looking for. The apps were great and the burgers very tasty. The service was impeccable- we never waited long for any thing and the waitress was was always right there when we needed something. There was a little wait for a table when we got there - it was a Saturday night - but they told us 30 mins - and 30 mins later we were sitting at a table. It was exactly what we'd hoped it would be. Nashville Chicken Sandwich was awesome, only good thing about the meal. Wait time was over an hour and half for 4 people on a saturday afternoon. Beer selection is mediocre. Fiances burger was under cooked (almost blue) and extremely greasy. Pretty over priced for what we got there are better places within a 15 min drive. Placed an order through pick up..Burgers are expensive- and we were not impressed. There was nothing special about the burgers. We ordered and paid for extras that were missing from one burger. French fries were soggy and a measly portion (especially for the price). Kale Salad had spoiled kale leaves in it and the lettuce was also spoiled on one of our burgers. I wanted to like this restaurant, I did, especially as a native Babylonian. Initially, we were seated quickly and pleasantly greeted by the hostess. A friend and I sat at or table which was fairly close to the table next to us, and we waited, and waited. After about 10 minutes passed, I had to ask the hostess for a server to come to our table. The server, finally came to our table and never even asked for our drink order, just our meal order, I had to prompt the server to what I would like to drink. Granted, it was fairly busy, but it's common sense. The food came, not delivered by our server, by a different server. The burger was piled high and difficult to eat without cutting the burger in half. I had ordered by burger rare, which is was, but maybe a little too rare. The burger was flavorless and the toppings masked the flavor of the beef. My friend said the same thing and he had ordered Kobe beef. I had to season my burger with salt and pepper myself for it to be flavorful. I had ordered their BBQ burger which had fried onions, pickles, bacon and bbq sauce. The pickles tasted homemade and the bacon was thick cut. The French fries were homemade, but greasy. But their dipping sauce which was like a Greek garlic ranch was phenomenal. We then ordered their churro s'mores dessert which was messy and again, greasy. Then, the bill came; we knew it was going to be pricy based on the menu, but with a 16% tip and 2 beers, the bill came to $75.00. For two people? $75? I was taken back by the price of the bill for 2 people and a subpar burger. I might go back to give it another chance, but I rather go to another restaurant or other local eateries. read more

Went for dinner last Saturday and had a long wait for a table but in the end, it was worth it! We had the Juicy Lucy and the Drunken Goat burgers...cooked perfectly and delicious! These people know their burgers. There are so many to choose from, I can't wait to go back! The people at the table next to us had the veggie burger and raved about it. The poutines with the cheese curds were yummy too. Milk shakes look tempting...we'll try one of those after a good day at the gym. I recommend getting there early. So i stopped in with my girlfriend recently for our first visit. We were greet instantly and sat down. After about 10 minutes we were finally asked if we were ready to order. We ordered 2 of the super shakes which are $15 each. Honestly the shakes are not worth the heavy price tag as the flavor is kind of washed down. The cookies and cream one was not bad but the cookie dough one lacked flavor in the shake. Id say the shake is maybe an $11 shake tops just based on size and quality alone. We've been to the burger bar a few times since it has recently opened and I have tried the turkey burger and vegan burger... both delicious!! My fiancé has had the Kobe beef burger and their signature burger and loved both! Last night we had my birthday dinner their with a few friends and it was just as great. Pretzel bun is amazing, spinach dip- delicious, and service was spot on. The chef came out to greet us and gave us 2 desserts on the house for my birthday. Not sure why some people are giving this place 1 star, but I would have to disagree!!! read more

Talk about a great way to ruin the start to your night! As my sister who lives in MASSAPEQUA told me that Babylon burger bar was the same owners we decided to try it out as the menu looked promising. BOY WAS I WRONG! Wish I could say something positive about the place other then the way it looks. Started with appetizers, wings not crispy at all and buffalo sauce full of butter. Now after 45 minutes of waiting for the burgers. I got the turkey burger which tasted like mush. Would be nice to be able to bite into it with it turning into baby food. Please learn to season your burgers. They need a PINCH of salt not the entire 5lb jar. Legit needed a pitcher of water how dehydrated I got. Now to the desserts! I was told I had to try the supershakes! What a let down it was. All milk, barley any ice cream it seemed like. Toppings frosted to the cup tasted almost stale! If you want a shake stick to BURGEROLOGY they do it the best on Long Island. Would love to see another burger place last but on this pace it won't be long. Only reason I'm giving 1 star is because of there sister store in MASSAPEQUA. Hopefully they work it out to become just as good as they are! read more

So went here with my son. He got a plain hamburger which was cooked perfect he loved it. I got what I believe is called the great South Bay? It has short ribs on it. It was very good. The burgers were both fresh made. The fries were very good as well fresh made. We got a chocolate shake to share the little I got was good lol my son drank most of it. We were seated right away and the waitress was very nice. The problem I had was the food took for ever to come out. The burgers and fries came out 30 min after ordering and the shake came out 10 min after that. The price is a little on high side, maybe $8 to $10 more than a Chili's, but burger much better. Now the waitress was good and asked a few times if everything was ok. When I questioned the wait for food though she was like it's on way no apology for how long it was taking. I would try again the burger was very good. The owner did ask how everything was and when I told him about wait he gave us shake for free and apologized. read more

Terrible! My friend and I were so excited to try this new joint, but unfortunately, we should've listened to the other reviews. First off, we were seated in the middle of the restaurant, despite the private and AVAILABLE tables we were surrounded by. Then we were barely greeted by a snobby server who made it clear that she did not want to be there. We also noticed the owner walking around and chatting with every other table but ours. I guess if you're not a middle aged Caucasian couple, then you're not worth warming up. As we waited for our food, the couple next to us received their entree before us, despite arriving 15 minutes after. They left half an hour before us, even though we both ordered an appetizer and two burgers. When our order arrived, both burgers were missing onions and it took quite a while to even find our server. We simply asked to make sure we weren't charged for the onions, considering the stingy pricing of this place for each single item. Overall, very overpriced, uncomfortable vibe, and it wasn't even special! read more

After working an incredibly long day and BUSY DAY, both me and my boyfriend were really looking forward to trying this place together. First, they don't take reservations which I think is a horrible move when you have customers who either want to come for a birthday or occasion, or haven't eaten in 12 hours and want good food (without having to wait over an hour for it). Second, when we decided to do a takeout order (reluctantly because I really wanted one of those crazy shakes), the hostess originally said it would be a 20 minute wait which was fine. However, not even five minutes later the wait time was 45 minutes. Which is ridiculous for a call in order of two burgers. Just slap those suckers on the grill and you're good. Not to mention she kept talking over my boyfriend. Word of advice, when taking people's food orders don't talk over them. You could miss specific directions because of food allergies or something. He couldn't get a word out edgewise, and as a result they messed up my order. I had ordered the Beyond burger, because I'm starting to not eat meat, but still eat some dairy so I asked for cheese. When we get back to eat, no cheese. But there's cucumber on the burger? Good thing that's the complete opposite of cheese. Then, while we are there picking up our food- the layout is awful. Maybe it was fine when the place was One Main, but not for a place like this when the only place to pick up a call in order is at the busy bar where you can't even move because it's so congested and awkward. Not to mention the bartenders kept ignoring us when all we wanted was our food before it got cold. The place needs to be way larger to serve all these people. Since it's obviously so busy. But, it's small space will probably be its downfall. read more

I feel so bad even writing this because the food was actually AMAZING ! But I was definitely discriminated against because of my race. I had a bill of $95.68 and gave the waiter $65 in cash and told him to put the rest of $30.68 on the card. He checked to ask how we wanted to do the check again and I reminded him. He came back with a receipt of $35.68. I was confused so I asked to see the original receipt. He then brought it over to us apologizing for charging an extra $5 and that we can just put $30.68 down. I noticed on his receipt it said$60 cash. So he pocketed $5. So I wrote $15 on the tip line bringing my card total to $50.68. Leaving him with a $15 charged tip and $5 cash tip. I left the restaurant and noticed they charged me the full $95.68. So I came back to the restaurant to talk to the manager. Who was COMPLETELY RUDE ! He told us that our card was charged for special reasons and the money would be returned back. I am a manager at a restaurant and I have NEVER heard of anything like this. Normally when you say you want this amount charged that's what their suppose to charge. Nothing more or less. He then yelled at me and asked me to calm down because he knew what I was saying was right. His waiter LOUIS was busted for trying to scam us. He thought we would never come back and he even asked us not come back even after they could never explain why was I charged so much. Then when I asked for my $65 in cash back he was so offended and confused. Why was he so confused ????? If you charged my card the full amount and then keeping my cash that means I paid almost $160 for my meal!!!!! Are you kidding me ? My card hasn't been refunded that stupid amount he said it would. My bank actually cleared it that they did charge my card for that amount. If you're a black person be aware. There are still these kind of people out there. Mind you the food was delicious and even the server was super nice. Super nice and a snake! He asked that we never come back to which I responded I'll think about it. read more

This place is OK. Had the spinach artichoke dip to start - soooooooo greasy. More cheesy than spinachy or artichokey. But my husband and I were starving. To be honest, the drunken goat burger was delicious. It was also probably one of the most expensive burgers I have eaten and not sure worth of the $16 price tag. I have been to Zin burger though (which is actually much better) so I was not shocked by the prices. At least the burgers here come with fries. Which by the way were pretty good. The one thing that really brought this review down were the FRUIT FLIES that were literally circling us the whole time we were there. I've worked as a bartender and I know that they are an issue in most restaurants and bars . . . But only if the place isn't kept clean!
