I am not a person to salt my food, I hate salt, I hate salty food. For me to say food needs salt means there is NO salt on food. The burger was OK, but so very bland. There was absolutely no seasoning on it. I was extremely disappointed by the "fries". Not fries, but a whole potato quarted and fried. We ordered a burger and asked for truffle fries instead of regular. Got 4 giant thick potato wedges with some parmesian sprinkled over them.. Terrible.. read more

Great service and delicious food. Went last night for the first time. Sat at bar and wanted to watch the game. Christina provided excellent service at the bar. The food was served and was delicious. Met the owner and other servers and everyone was pleasant and friendly. Will definitely be going back soon. read more

I have been coming here on a few different occasions. The food is pretty decent and consistent but I cannot say that about the service. Last time The waitress was so unattended and not accommodating what so ever, considering it's burger bar and the prices are pretty high. At least I was hoping to get better service. They need to work on that. read more

if you need a place to go any are around here, GO! it is by far one of the best experiences i've had in a while. You may walk in at first and think "this is a little expensive" IT IS WORTH EVERY. SINGLE. PENNY. And then some. I will be returning here and will come much more often and i even live 25 minutes away all my friends enjoyed the food and the service. 10/10 would eat again. read more

Awesome place with awesome service! For a burger place, I have to say, this might have been the best Greek salad I've had! They had a great selection of burgers drinks and shakes. Will def be coming back! read more

The Babylon Burger Bar is a very nice "date" place. Great for a night out on the town - Burgers are delicious, but pricey $15+ per designer burger. Hugh Super cool shakes! They have a very nice selection of Beers. I found the staff to be courteous & it's a very clean establishment. For lunch I had the Drunken Goat Burger with 1 Golden Monkey $33 + tip. NOT budget friendly read more

Food is terrible. Burger was extremely greasy, almost inedible. Extremely over prices. Burger had NO flavor at all. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

Highly disappointed. I will not be returning! I don't have another 52 minutes to wait for a measly burger to come out of the kitchen. It would have been nice if I even got to taste the burger but I'm pretty convinced the order was never even placed once the waitress left the table. I was a party of two and after 16 minutes of waiting to even place an order we were already agitated. Now, to wait 52 minutes more for an order of two burgers to come out?! Who has the time. We watched two tables on both sides of us leave...have new couples sit, and served full meals all before we were able to receive anything! We were so fed up that we just got up and left. We went on a Friday night around 8pm... the dining room was pretty empty for a Friday night so we weren't sure as to what the hold up was. After watching our waitress trot back and forth, tending to the same two tables (out of her 5) we figured that it was probably her and not the actual establishment that is at fault. THEN, I watched the restaurant manager stand at the hostess desk and giggle away with the host for a nice amount of time.. so yes, I am leaving a review based off of the whole experience and not just the waitress. I can't offer my opinion about food because....don't forget.. I never was given the chance to try it! Oh and there were a gross amount of fruit flies flying around everywhere. Tip to the giggly manager- maybe leave out a dish of vinegar! read more

We are here celebrating Mother's Day! The ladies picked this location!! Great for all of us!!! It was my first time here. Several people in the group had bee here before. The environment is great. The food tasted even better. I had the fire island burger! It was good hot . I ordered mine with onion rings. It was unique for me. I never had a burger crafted like this one. The entire group had a good time. I will definitely be back real soon. If you in the area stop by for a great burger+ and great, great service by the staff. read more

More like Babylon Burger Barf! This place stinks. I ordered a burger medium rare, which I know can be risky. But I was served a raw meatball on a bun. So thick, round and nasty, nobody could possibly eat this. I sent it back to have it cooked more because it was literally COLD inside. It came back a little less raw but just chewy and gross. I barely ate any. My wife's burger was just ok, she said. She only ate a Quarter of it. Appetizer and dessert was decent. Not decent enough to save this review. We ended up dropping 100 dollars for 2 adults and a 3 year old. Definitely not worth it. Won't be back. read more

Got two burgers the drunken goat and just a hamburger. Started with some wings they were delicious. Burgers were amazing. And the beer was flowing Dogfish Head, Kona, and Montauk wave chaser. Staff was amazing and attentive from the host to the waitress and the lovely bartender. Thanks for the wonderful meal guys read more

I'm only giving this place 2 stars because of the food and younger servers. Went here this weekend to enjoy a date with my mother my "SUPER" milk shake came out like shit so I called over the OLDER LADY WITH BLACK HAIR and she proceeded to look at me like I had 2 heads came over asked me "Who's your waiter" with the nastiest attitude at that, then when I ask her hey my milkshake is kinda falling apart (literally melting somehow out of the cup and down the sides to the point the cookies were falling off) so she tells me "OH that's just how it is the brownie is super hot so it's gonna melt your milkshake." And in my head I'm thinking "wow so hot ice cream GREEAAAAATTTT LOVEEE ITTT!" But then! Here's the BEST part! The lady next to me orders the SAME EXACT "SUPER" milkshake I got LITERALLY and it was gorgeous..... That's not fucked up???? Oh and the fact they charged my mom 2 times for the meal we had some how??????? Like what? You guys need to reevaluate your situation and get your shit right! That's it! read more

I came in a few nights ago with my husband and kids as we were shopping during the day and starving by dinner time. We were seated immediately with Miranda as our server and right away she was extremely attentive and treated my kids so kindly. She was hustling the entire night but never missed a step with us. Refilled the kids drinks without even having to ask. On point with getting us everything we needed and you can tell she treating every single customer she had the same way. I never write reviews but Miranda will be the reason we come back. And for the shakes of course! She was simply the best ! read more

Can't get enough of this place. I've been here every Monday for the past month for their Burger Night. You can't beat the deal especially for the quality of food, it's a steal. The meat blend of their burgers really separates them from all other burger places, the Mac and cheese is delicious, the fries are fresh and great !!! Number one burger spot ! read more

Had dinner there the other night. We pleasant experience as a whole. The wait staff were excellent. The food was prompt and cook to order. It was a overall enjoyable night for my wife and myself. My only advise is make sure you bring your appetite. read more

$65 for 3 burgers and fries! Say WHAT? The most over priced burger on Long Island with nothing to back up that price. I ordered the prime meat burger and it was meh... my wife and father had a regular cheese burger. Again... meh! The only reason I'm even giving one star is that the server was sweet and the owner came to the table to welcome you. The wait is long and the food is sub par. That's it. All American Hamburger is a better burger than this. read more

I wonder if the owners ever really experience what a customer does. The music is too loud to have a conversation, the air conditioning is blowing down on your back at the booth, a 1/2 inch of toilet paper comes out each time you pull, just a couple of reasons not to return. I have to say the waiter Vito was excellent. I ordered a Kobe burger. Obviously it's not Kobe beef so they should really change the name. It was ok. Bun fell completely apart and it wasn't juicy at all. My husband had the Lucy burger, he said it was ok. We would not return. read more

Went there yesterday with a friend to get a beer and a good burger. I was not disappointed. Great food and pleasant staff. Our waitress Stacy was great. I will definitely be returning here frequently read more

Have been here at least 6 times prior but don't know if we'll come back. Food was very off tonight. We were the last customers to come in and we still waited over 30 minutes for food to arrive. Appetizer was never brought out. 2 in my party of 4 ordered turkey burgers and both were black on the bottom from being burnt and very dry The sweet potato fries were so greasy they were inedible. I ordered the "proprietary blend " which was recommended by the waitress and it was tasteless and so dense. I cut into the " meat" with a knife and it literally bounced off of my plate and onto the floor. The $15.00 shakes look pretty but are underwhelming. The one positive was that our server, Miranda was very nice And didn't rush us to leave. read more

I was very excited to get a good burger on a Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, it took 45 minutes to get our two burgers. The owner came over to tell us that they had a bunch of orders and it happens, but instead of apologizing told us that our ticket time was less then 45 minutes. He was incredibly rude and even worse our burgers were dry and decent at best. I will never come back here for overpriced food and terrible customer service. read more

Awesome food! I had the avocado grilled cheese and it was AMAZING! The sauce that comes with the fries is like an aioli sauce and its super tasty. read more

I know that this is a *burger* bar, but they have the best brownie sundae I've ever had in my life (and I've had many). I had to let everyone else know how good it is. If you are looking for a good burger spot to sit down with the wife or boys, look no further. Been here a few times and the food is on point. Cookery has been perfect and the chefs burger creations are amazing. Bathrooms are clean along with bar. It's officially a regular spot for me. read more

My party of four adults and four children was VERY well served here. I found the waitstaff (Vito) to be incredibly patient and attentive. The grownups ordered a lobster Mac and cheese as an appetizer and we were not disappointed. Nice chunks of perfectly cooked lobster were accompanied by velvety cheese and elbow macaroni with crumbled crackers on top. Delicious! I ordered a medium rare "Brightwaters Kobe" burger and it was delicious. The mushrooms complimented the Cabernet demi perfectly. The beef was delicious also. The bun was just thick enough to hold it all together.... my wife ordered a Mediterranean Burger which she raved about. The other adults in our party ordered a "Drunken Goat" burger which was very well liked and a bacon cheeseburger. The bacon was cooked to perfection with a bit of a sweet candy glaze. I also had a red velvet shake which was divine. The kiddies had a sweet and salty shake which had peanut butter cups amongst other tummies. They have a decent sized full bar up front with a good selection of tap beers. The decor is bare brick type of cute. We all felt very comfortable here. I can see this place a nice date night place as well as a "grab a burger and a beer with the guys" kind of place. Parking is a bit of pain but it's Babylon Village so.... overall, I give this spot a SOLID RECOMMENDATION. We were very happy with the quality of food and the service and we'll be back soon. Great job Babylon Burger Bar!! read more

This place is delicious. We ordered two burgers to each have half and try them out, when the waitress heard us say we were going to be splitting them she even offered to have the chef cut them in half for us! The fries were delicious and they came with this amazing sauce that we could not get enough of. We didn't have time to get a milkshake but from what we were seeing they looked phenomenal. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious burger! read more

The food is great but I have Celiac Disease and couldn't have the fries that came with the burger so I got charged $2.50 for a side salad.. Love that they have gluten free buns and bread but it would be nice for people with celiac or gluten sensitivity to be able to substitute fries for something gluten free without having to pay extra. read more

The location and aesthetic was charming but as you walk into the establishment it literally smells like a dirty fish tank... The food was subpar, pricey and bland (the fries were good though). The waiter was kind however when it came to our dessert he forgot to give us our milkshakes and asked for our order twice. My date and I waited 23 minutes for our milkshakes to come out and it was already melted, clearly he forgot to give it to us. Had the wait for our desserts not been so long perhaps I would have given 3 stars. Do not recommend this place... read more

The place had a great vibe with a warm and welcoming staff. We felt completely safe with the Covid precaution barriers they installed. Roy the owner was friendly and engaging and suggested started with the gigantic pretzels and the 3 dips which was scrumptious! Our table had the chicken & waffles, Bright water Kobe, Mac & Cheese burger, Greek lamb burger and the Goat cheese burger. Each one was a complete hit and nothing but raves at the table. My only disappointment was that I didn't have room for one of their Milkshakes which looked amazing But next time I will definitely be trying one of those bad boys! Look forward to going back soon! read more

I went to this place and ordered the Babylon South Shore bacon burger and I could not even eat the bacon because it was so hard. I was forced to do something I have never done in my life...... I took the bacon off of the burger, yes I intentionally removed bacon off a sandwich in order to eat it. . You hurt me deep Babylon Burger bar and you used to innocent bacon to do it... you swines!!!! read more

Babylon Burger Bar gets a 1 of 5 stars on the terrible service alone. Had to wait nearly 20 minutes for my diet coke and asked the waitress 3 times for it. I asked beforehand how crispy are the wings, she said pretty crispy but would ask them to be extra crispy...if these were extra crispy then the normal wings must be soup. Got the Korean BBQ and flavor was good, just good. The burgers came out cold as they sat forever, as our waitress was very incompetent. I asked for truffle fries with my burger and then served me regular fries, I mentioned to the food runner and he said they would bring out the correct fries and they never came. On the plus side I got the 3 Lil pigs and thought it was pretty good, prob would have been better slightly warm. Sufficed to say i won't be returning, there is a craft burger explosion happening on Long Island and there are many places that do it better and with better service. I live in Babylon and hoped this would be a great burger place or our town, but it was not. read more

Quite possibly the best burger I ever had and my new favorite casual dining restaurant. They have many choices from Kobe beef to their signature meat. . You can build your own or choose from one of the predetermined Chefs selections. They have a full bar and the beer is ice cold!! They have great desert shakes too!!!! The service and atmosphere are fantastic as well. It can be a little pricey, but it in this case you get what you pay for. DON'T MISS IT!!! read more

Let me start by saying the place is over priced. I ordered the bonless wings to go with hot sauce. The wings did not come with the carrorts and celery and the portion was small 5 wings to be exact. I went back to get the celery because i work in the area and i waited over 10 mins for the celery an at that point i said forget it. The in the front was nice and tried to be helpful. By the time i got back to work the wings were cold. Well very disappointed with the 14.00 wings. I guess i should have tried a burger. I did not get a good first impression. read more

Not all is meaty at the Babylon Burger Bar--which is good because I don't eat meat but dine with family members who do. I like that the Long Island Veggie Burger is juicy (from beet juice!) and beefy tasting. I also appreciate their salads such as the You've Got Kale and the Avocado Jicama--all goes well with their great selection of beer! Next visit I'll check out the Ahi Tuna while once again enjoying the rustic atmosphere of this lively place with a staff that was most welcoming. If possible, i'd give it 4.5 stars instead of 5 because I do wish there were a simple, light non-ice cream dessert option such as a banana sprinkled with crushed pecans or a scoop of sorbet. read more

Had the best experience here for lunch. Through Yelp I had found Babylon Burger Bar and noticed pictures of out of this world milkshakes and thought, this will be the best place to bring my 4 year old twins for a surprise lunch out and it was incredible. The kids menu was standard (burgers, nuggets, grilled cheese and sliders) and they loved it. One tried the macaroni and cheese (even for 4 this kid is a bit of a connoisseur and this Mac passed with flying colors) the other had the cheeseburger sliders with fries- two enthusiastic kid thumbs up. Then the most awesome thing happened, a new strawberry milkshake with cotton candy, rock candy, lollipops and skittles emerges from the kitchen to the next table...the kids were gawking a bit, ok I was too. Unbeknownst to me it was the owner taking pictures of this brand new milkshake they had just rolled out for the first time. He walks over to our table after taking several pictures of this milkshake, which was more like a candy lover's work of art and says "if you guys finish your lunch and listen to Mom this is on the house". The eyes on my children's faces widened as if they were given the keys to Willy Wonka's factory and we thanked him profusely. Now for the milkshake reviews...outrageously good. So good it made me start to forget bathing suit season starts in a week ‍‍ We tried the aforementioned and the sweet and salty chocolate shake with m&m's, chocolate frosting sticking them to the rim of the glass, peanut butter cups and chocolate covered pretzels- heavenly. Oh and lastly, I went for the chili which is served with chips for dipping- nice touch. Overall we clearly had a blast and can't wait to go back (once I've worked this off on a treadmill). Awesome spot! read more

Only one star for Babylon Burger Bar and writing this review shortly after picking up a very disappointing takeout order. The woman behind the bar who took the order was not pleasant and seemed annoyed when I asked for ketchup with the order. She was far nicer to the patrons eating in the restaurant and it was clear she couldn't be bothered otherwise. On top of that, the takeout order was quite greasy and I could see the grease coming through the boxes as soon as the order was handed to me. Will not be returning and very disappointed especially for the price!!! read more

I agree with Tom G's review, I just don't see the things that people are complaining about. Yes it is a bit pricey for burgers (especially if you build your own) but in the 2 times I've been here, the food and the service have been very good. My family is obsessed with their sweet potato waffle fries with marshmallow dip. We also loved the fried cheddar curds. Didn't love the wings bc they weren't crispy enough, but I can get past that. The owner was walking around greeting all of the tables and chatting with the customers. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Went for dinner tonight with my wife and kids. Got sliders and spinach/artichoke dip for apps. Sliders were ok, spinach/artichoke dip was really good. For entrees I got the bacon on bacon burger, didn't really have much flavor and was pretty greasy. Roll was also hard. The bacon jam on it was tasty though. My wife got the chicken sandwich with avocado. The sourdough bread was really greasy and heavy to eat. My son got kids meal chicken fingers which also had a greasy panko crust on them. He didn't like them. The sweet potato waffle fries are good, but what makes them great is the marshmallow dipping sauce. Must try. I got a plain chocolate shake which was really good and my son got the sweet and salty "crazy shake" which he really liked. I don't know if I'd go back. The food was disappointing. If I did go back I'd probably just get the shakes. Prices for the burgers were expensive - $16/$17 each. read more
