I ate here once with my boyfriend and decided to order food again while my mom was in town. We went through grub hub and ordered a lot of extra add ons, (cheese, bacon, etc yummy things) but were sad when we received the order it was missing most of the toppings, even the dressing for her salad. The salad was also all over the bottom of the bag which was confusing. I called and explained the situation to the manager, John, who went seriously above and beyond to resolve this for me. I figured it was just a really busy night, so I wasn't too upset. We reviewed my order together for what was missing, and he went out of his way to remake the order and have it driven to my address specially. Everything in the new order arrived perfectly and then some, John said he even checked it himself. I am so appreciative of this person and their crew for their generosity and professionalism in making my experience better. See pictures for before and after! My wife and I went there today to buy $200. Of gift certificates for family members for Christmas. We've been there a lot. A tall blond waitress was the rudest that anyone can be as if we were upsetting her day. Even through the process of getting the gift cards she was snotty and dismissive. Great, friendly attentive wait staff, really nice and hardworking. No rookie mistakes like bringing the entree while the appetizer was still being eaten, no dishes piling up, all smiles and nice. That said, I can't see ever going back. Several things to take into consideration when charging $15 to $20 (or more) for a burger: 1. Don't make your customers choose between fries and slaw. Give them both, this is a cheapskate move. 2. The burgers should be larger for this price, like twice the size (not that they were small but smaller than any other "high end" burger place I have been to. 3. Teach the cooks to cook to what the customer ordered. Medium is not 100 percent pink 1 centimeter beneath the surface. The kitchen was either taught to RUSH, RUSH, RUSH or no one is managing them. Medium burgers came out nearly raw, fries were soggy and limp. My wife ordered the Bacon Blend, no hint of bacon flavor. I ordered the Fire Island which is supposed to be spicy. Not one hint of spice. Leave the seeds in the jalapenos, add some cayenne, something but this thing was about as spicy as boiled chicken. The food was decent but for nearly $60 for 2 burgers, 2 orders of fries and 8 hot wings (decent, nothing special) and no bar tab it's a hard no from me dawg. I could have gone to Red Robin and gotten similar burgers with 2 sides each and probably brought another person along. I think after this and George Martins burger place (simply terrible) I am done with burger places. Oh, and clean the bathrooms once in a while please. Again, the wait staff was great. read more

My family and I were very excited to hear that the Babylon Burger Bar had lobster rolls for summer and decided to order them for dinner tonight. We have had great dine-in experiences there. However, our experience tonight was not great. When we arrived to pick up our food, we were told it wasn't ready yet (although we saw a bag on the counter). 10 minutes later the bartender came back over and said oh actually this bag that has been sitting here is yours, here you go. Not surprisingly, our food was cold. The French fries and sweet potato fries were cold and soggy. The lobster rolls were extremely meager in terms of amount of meat and the meat was very tough. And to top it off, there were many many tiny pieces of lobster shell in the rolls that we bit into. This created a very unpleasant eating experience trying to get the pieces of shells out. We normally like to eat here, but would NOT recommend the lobster rolls or ordering takeout. read more

I've been trying to get down to Babylon Burger Bar for a while now & I finally made it this weekend. I sat at the bar and ordered a pineapple margarita. It came in a cute mason jar and was made very well... not too strong, not too sour. The bartender was also super cool. I built my own burger - kobe beef, mushrooms, roasted peppers, lettuce & pickles on a pretzel bun with regular fries. The beef was over cooked and the pretzel bun was kind of stale. The fries however were delish and the sauce that came on the side was too (not entirely sure what it was though). The atmosphere was definitely better than the burger. I like this spot. The vegan burgers are so yummy and so are the onion rings. I enjoyed their sweet milkshakes. It is deffinitely a drink for TWO because it was certainly a mountain of sweetness. Had such an excellent experience here overall!! I came knowing they had vegan beyond burgers as an option, and to my surprise they also had gluten free buns!! The bun was so soft and delicious, though it fell apart easily. I didn't care though, burgers are messy either way. They have a TON of vegan options to top your burger!!! I got the tomato onion jam and pickled cucumbers, sooooo flavorful. And the coleslaw was 10/10 perfect, sooo delicious! We also got the tex mex salad, which actually turned out to be like a raw shredded mixed veg broccoli slaw. It was good, but i was expecting a traditional salad with all the veg in it. I was hesitant to try the Babylon Burger Bar because of past reviews but being a Babylon local I decided to give it a shot and I'm glad I did. The service was super fast. Our onion rings came out in 5 minutes. They were good but needed salt. The burgers came out shortly after and were the star of the show but the sides could have been a little better. The fries and cole slaw both needed salt. The fries were a bit greasy too. While the sides were under-seasoned, the burgers were not. My first time at BBB was okay. Not great. Not terrible. Just okay. The reason we chose this place was because my girlfriend and I are vegan and my brother is on a keto diet. We figured they could accommodate us all. Unfortunately, the advertised "vegan" Long Island Veggie burger comes on a non-vegan bun- so it was a lettuce wrap for us. A better designed menu could have avoided this issue. All of the well drinks from the bar were flat and continued to be flat after we brought it to our waitress' attention. The food was okay. The service was fine. Our waitress was nice, although it did sound like her whole spiel was obviously rehearsed which made for a bit of an awkward interaction. The beef seemed like it was a good quality, and the pork was pretty good, too. I really enjoyed the fries, and whatever sauce came with the fries. I would come back to try any of the 4 or 5 other burgers that I considered having. I had a hard time choosing one in the first place. My fiance asked for sweet potato fries instead of the regular fries and was instead brought and charged for both. More fries for me. The sweet potato fries come with what I assume was just literally straight marshmallow fluff which was super weird.
