A throwback to the days of yore, before dining became a homogeneous blur of identically mediocre franchises. Portions as big as the floors are dirty, a greasy spoon in name and cutlery alike. Not at all recommended if you're in search of a sterile laboratory environment to daintily relieve yourself, but if you're looking to tackle a mountain of benedict and don't care for pretenses, Babe's is the spot for you. Especially when there is a 30 minute wait at every other brunch jam on a Saturday morning, but Babe's is inexplicably empty. read more

Place was greasy, food was too salty and too expensive. Coffee was watered down and gross. We always saw this place from the main street and wanted to check it out someday. We weren't very impressed. The prices were pretty expensive for a greasy diner. read more

It was my first time at Babe's and I was very impressed. As busy as it was, we were seated right away. The waitress was very quick to acknowledge us and periodically check in. The menu is amazingly large and filled with tempting options. I chose the sausage eggs Benedict with the white sausage gravy. It was delicious as it sounds. The portions are enormous. Do I have a small complaint? Yes. Their home fries are so bland, plentiful, but bland. Could use some paprika and black pepper. read more

We decided to give Babes a second shot and i am so glad we did. We didnt have very goid service our firsr visit, but yesterday? Melinda was welcoming and warm, she has a great personality. Both times the food was very tasty and enormous portions !!! Holy cow !! read more

I am not a fan of Babe's Place. It's not clean at all and the food is mediocre at best. I will not be coming here again. I ordered a side of bacon with my meal which I did not receive. The waitress didn't ask how my meal was and dropped of the check before asking if I needed anything further. Big surprise my side order of bacon was on the bill. I informed her that I did not receive my side order of bacon and she asked if I still wanted it. What a Twit. read more

I don't remember the food here being this good! Greek omelette was great and the pancakes were thick and fluffy. The bacon was the best I've had in awhile. I don't want to sound pretentious because I'm not big on ambiance in diner-style restaurants. But if I'm being honest the decor needs a major facelift and clean sweep. Wanted to cry watching one of the waitresses fix her hair at the counter where the food window is. Also here is something insane- ONE glass of apple juice for $ 3.45.. Almost four dollars! I posted a picture of the receipt for proof because its unbelievable. read more

l love the place got breakfast there go most of the days wait staff are friendly and nice I had the Burger speckled was great beyond words could not beat price so fantastic cheeper and better than fast food read more

10/10 on the Service the people are so nice! I think the little cozy vibe of this place is so homey. I love the little menus very cutesy aesthetic read more

Never a dull moment there on a weekend after the clubs and bars close. Good times had by all and the food...the food is better overnight than it is during the daylight hours! Props to these guys for knowing how to make a breakfast. :-) Update 1-1-16: Some staff are more attentive than others. We waited over an hour and a half for food. Our waitress disappeared and only came over when our food was ready (never asked for coffee or drink refills). It was the worst experience I've had there. Needless to say, this will not be our first choice for breakfast ever. read more

Must of drove by this place a thousand times! quintessential diner... The breakfast foods are great and the prices are right. The mix and match chairs and the old booths are nothing pretty to look at, but it is a diner in Attleboro. Good place for breakfast, try the country boy breakfast platter! Yummy! read more

Yes if you are a stickler for pristine restaurants then pass on here. It is a dive diner disguised as a restaurant. I walked in and saw the prices on the board and thought it to be a bit above the norm for breakfast food. I soon understood when the massive amounts of food arrived. I had another meal for the next day after feeling like a stuffed thanksgiving turkey. As I looked at the dust on the window sill beside me, I could of cared less about it while eating my very delicious food. The waitresses were very nice, efficient and personable. Chatting and joking with us. My new favorite breakfast place. read more

Pros: It's a diner, diner's are great. Portions are huge. Cons: Cooks yelling at each other, enough grounds in the coffee to brew my own pot, order wasn't followed, felt greasy for several hours after. If you're in the area and MUST eat diner breakfast, go for it. Otherwise, go get something on the rest of the strip. read more

Great service and prices. We love their breakfast selection. They offer generous portion sizes and are kid friendly.

This was the worst experience I ever had. We ordered and 45 minutes later they still didn't have our food on the grill. We ended up leaving!!!! read more

Great location, great hours, huge menu and huge portions. Relatively small diner, friendly service. I'd go again to try some other stuff on the menu! read more

A great spot to grab a bite- breakfast or lunch! The last time I was here I almost didn't recognize the place, I was blown away by the renovations they had done! It looks beautiful, a much more welcoming atmosphere. Omelette= to die for. Same with the soups-homemade! If you haven't already popped in to see the new place you have to check it out! read more

Bye bye, baby. This is still a fairly good restaurant but it's met it's match over the past few years. The food quality and size portions are still generous but the prices have skyrocketed over the past few years. Furthermore, it's cleanliness is not really up to par which is a shame. No reason to go when I could go to Tigger's and go from a bill of 25 to 30 dollars to a bill of 10 to15(tips not included) for two people. read more

I have been coming here for years. It's my go to place for Breakfast on Sundays when other breakfast joints close at 1 or 2 pm. The service is great. It's your standard breakfast menu. I usually get a single pancake with a side of meat and home-fries. Deli-sh! "Belly Full" every-time i leave. I have been here for lunch, but its breakfast that keeps me coming back read more

My husband and I went in to have breakfast. We were seated after 5 minutes - getting a lot we will be right with you. After seated 2 other families came in and were also seated and delivered drinks before any server even approached us!!!' Our waitress yelled across the room I'll be there in a minute. After waiting 15 minutes we left!!! read more

$13.50 for an inedible omelette and a diet coke. I told the waitresses straight up that they would get much better Yelp reviews if they got off their damn phones and they looked at me like I just told them their puppy died. They were mortified. So was I. So I left...won't be back! read more

Nice people and cheap, tasty food. It's a diner. People looking for a classy ambiance shouldn't be going to a diner. Diners are for local folk and cheap food. Overall I love the place. Breakfast is delicious and the portions are large. The patty melt for lunch is awesome too. read more

Food was good, but, just a bit high priced. Staff was friendly and helpful. Service was pretty quick for a busy Sunday. The home fries were absolutely delicious. read more

Stopped in Babe's because we couldn't get into the place we originally planned on. Food was ok but expensive and took a long time to be served. The atmosphere is awful. Counter staff yelled at young waitresses. Our waitress(5) was super nice and deserves better place to work. Place was freezing and was old and torn up. Would rather go hungry than go back there to eat. read more

i went to babes' place at 11:00 for breakfast. we waited and watched a waitress clear a table right infront of us. there were at least 3 other clean empty tables. the waitress told us it would be a 20 minute wait. theplace wasn't even busy. i won't be back. read more

The food is good and comes out fast. Good portions. They have messed up my order a few times but hey, that happens. Only giving 3 stars because the place looks dirty. Especially where you walk in - gross. read more

I have gone to babe's place twice. The first time it was late in the day. I ordered a stack of chocolate chip pancakes. They were alright nothing special. Waitstaff was very nice and frequently filled up my coffee. On my second visit, I got to say, it's like it was a new place. Every seat was filled, and the eating was amazing. My girlfriend and I split, texa french toast, chocolate chip pancakes, cran-berry muffin, hash, eggs, home fries...etc This was way above my previous visit. Everything was incredibly delicious and filling. Tho wait staff this time wasn't as good, the food made up for it. Even with a packed place, I was surprised that our wait for food was barely noticable at all. After my second visit I would highly recommend going to Babe's! read more

Been going for years!!! Good food, good pricing, good staff!!! Great atmosphere, especially on gameday! Go Pats!!!! Could eventually use a little bit of updating??? read more

Fantastic food! The cheeseburgers are delicious!!! They come with lettuce, tomato, pickles and fresh French fries. The French fries were the best I've ever had!! I can't wait to go back!! The prices are extremely amazing!! It was $10.40 for 2 cheeseburgers with lettuce, tomato, pickles and fries! The service was excellent!! They had inside and outside dining. It was very clean. I highly recommend their delicious food! Their service with a smile! read more

This place has the best bang for the buck. Babes features home style cooking with 'Mom' size portions. I can never finish my meal and always bring home the leftovers. Had the fish 'n chips yesterday that came with delicious NE clam chowda, big garden salad, and 2 hush puppies. The NE Cod fish was fresh (did not stink like some places) came lightly breaded with little grease. Only $9.95. My fave is the American chop suey! I've been to many "Fah-fah" restaurants that charge twice the price. Don't expect ambiance for this is just a simple diner with very good food. Best part, they're open during blizzards and 24 hours Thursday - Saturday. The staff is very friendly too! read more

Ok...completely GROSS! OVERPRICED!!! $8.40 for (1) pancake and sausage....the waitress even said "the prices are crazy" complete waste of money...STAY AWAY!! Corned beef hash tastes like a dirty grill and dog food....never asked if we needed anything..had to ask for the check read more

I stopped in during the week , and it had a steady flow of people in and put . I ordered an omelette wow Huge portions ,I thought the place was a little on the dingy side , needing a make over , but the tables were clean .... just out dated , service was so so left with a doggie bag. read more

I was here early morning, i went to use the bathroom and it was disgusting. It hasn't been cleaned in a while. I ended up leaving

The breakfast food has and still very good. But I stopped going because the place is horribly old and not exactly very clean. Wish they would spend the money to renovate like it should be. read more

Ugh, I want to give this 5 stars; I really do but...I just feel like I have to go home and disinfect, shower and throw my clothes in the washer after coming here. The booths are so grimy and seats feel like grease has been wipe on for years. The booths have this floral pattern that just looking at it, should be at least 50 shades of grey lighter to expose the real color. The food is okay, the amounts are quite generous and the service is fairly quick but that's all the positive I can speak of. I mean I do realize this isn't a fancy restaurant by any means. It just doesn't seem clean. I could be wrong and I hope I'm wrong but I get this weird feeling when my husband says let's eat breakfast at Babe's. Ugh, such a pitty too because they're open 24hrs. read more

I have always loved Babe's Place. The portions are huge for the value. There French toast is simply amazing, typically my go to. Pancakes are good as well and large. read more

We walked in and we wanted to leave when we saw how dirty the door and the place was. My husband was hungry and he told me we ll try it. The food was horrible and the eggs were raw even tho we asked them for scrambled. They charged us for everything else but the eggs and it was pricy. Never again!!! read more

It was my first time trying this place yesterday and I loved it! The staff were friendly and the food was good. Simple breakfast food but my sister was visiting and we wanted to grab a bite somewhere were we could sit down enjoy a meal and chat. Everything came out in time and we weren't left waiting. The place was a bustling but that's expected for a Saturday morning breakfast rush. I think that's why I was so surprised by the excellent service and classic breakfast food. Ps totally try the French toast you won't regret it! read more

Babes. A place to go after 1,000 beers at the bar. Simply divine for the drunks, not so much for the designated driver or sober folk. Breakfast is it's claim to fame. A whopping omlet loaded with fillings comes to you with all the promise in the world of awesome flavor, but much like voting for Jeff Beatty for U.S. senate, once on your plate it falls short of it's great promise due to corner cutting and inferior ingredients, and blatant shirking of responsibility in favor of personal gain. The wait staff are friendly, the dining area well kept, the bathrooms usually clean beyond acceptable standards. The coffee: try unscrewing the drain plug from your car's engine and drink the oil. or even healthier, bring in your own from your favorite place to get coffee. The only consistient thing with the coffee is the inconsistiency. tin thin and full of grinds one day, potent enough to strip barnicles off the hull of the USSMassachusetts the nex day. I love Babe's Place though. It's the only place where I can get a huge hash and cheese omlet smothered in sausage gravy, home fries (which are very good). any time I want. It is worth a try in my book. read more
