Olympians is a decent restaurant with a comfortable ambience. Think of a comfortable diner with a…read moreGreek twist on its dishes. Service could have been more responsive, but I think that's mostly because the servers are spread too thin. And it was never made clear if we paid our server or go to the cash register. When our server never came back after dropping off the check, we just went to the register. If service had indeed been more responsive, this would have been a four star review. As to the food, we started out with the chicken wings. They had a great texture and were topped with feta cheese and an oregano sauce. JP ordered the daily soup which was chicken lemon soup. Flavor-wise, it was good and very similar to avgolemono soup, but thinner. JP also ordered a burger. The meat and bun (not Brioche, yay!) were very good. Though, we would have preferred they use a lettuce other than iceberg. The fries had an unpleasant crispy salty exterior and were mediocre at best. I had an 11" individual pizza, with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms. The pizza was well-prepared and easy on the eyes. However, the crust on this New York-style pizza was soggy. But how did the pizza taste? It was fine.

We started with garlic cheese bread that was super cheesy and perfectly toasted! Then my husband and I got our individual pizzas (9in). They were both baked to deliciousness. We are both so pleased and full. But of course my husband had to have dessert! So he preferred the baklava with vanilla ice cream. He says it is the best ending to this meal!! So much so that I couldn't even get a "before" picture!!!! Our servers were lovely and took care of us wonderfully. I wish I had gotten their names but sadly I did not. This is a family owned business tho. We will definitely be back!! The establishment itself was not overwhelming. It's was quiet with relaxing music playing. The are and decor was beautiful as well!

Today, we were greeted quickly and warmly and shown to a table. My Dad had a huge burger, which he said was good. My sister had the Gumbo- I tasted it and it was delicious! My Caribbean chicken and shrimp would've been delicious, but the chicken was way way too salty! The shrimp and beans and rice were both good. I'm so glad I ordered the sauce on the side because it ratcheted up the salt level to briny. Our server was adequate. The dining room is in a sort of weird U-shaped to me, but and spaced to serve. The friendly Manager stopped by our table to give my little niece a toy, and check on our experience. Our food hadn't come yet, so I didn't share that I didn't enjoy my meal. Even though I didn't enjoy the dish I had, I probably come back to try the burger.

The spaghetti had a curry taste that I personally didn't enjoy, and the cocktail was way too sweet for my liking. Our server was nice, but we didn't receive silverware until after our food had already been served, which was a little frustrating especially since the restaurant was not very crowded at the time. One positive was that parking was very convenient and easy.

Bob and Edith's in Hilltop is new but already very popular. A great addition to the neighborhood!…read more We made our first visit at the height of the brunch frenzy this past Sunday. Despite the crowd, service was pleasant and efficient. This is a compact, rather snug restaurant. We were seated at a two-person table next to another two-person table. It was as if we were seated with the next table because the only separation was a shoulder-high board. But that was okay. JP wanted a low-carb breakfast and he was able to order what he wanted: slice tomatoes with bacon and a poached egg. I ordered the Country Fried Steak with brown gravy. I also ordered a glass of grapefruit juice. The grapefruit juice was excellent, full flavor and not sweet, like it's the real deal. I also ordered a chocolate shake. It was great and attractively presented with a cherry on top, but I had a momentary lapse and forgot to photo it. The country fried steak was excellent. It came with very good hash browns (crispy on the outside, tender on the inside), scrambled eggs and toast. Bonus points to Bob and Edith's for buttering the toast. But I'm gonna take those bonus points away because the oleo was spread on cooled-off toast and didn't melt. There's something ironic about having a decadent breakfast right in back of the LA Fitness where I work out. But that's okay, we will be back! **Note: after initially posting this review, a pop-up Compensated Alert Activity message from Yelp appeared on the B&E Yelp page saying that Yelp had evidence (a photo of a sign) that B&E's was offering a $10 certificate to write a favorable review on the various platforms including Yelp. That's not nice Bob and Edith.

This is the place. I wanted something not greasy so I ended up with turkey open sandwich, potato salad, and mixed vegetables. Everything went in my tummy. My wife got a banana split. Hey! We can't all eat turkey. Food was great for the price, service quick, place is clean, and I like how you can see them cook in the open kitchen. Wish it was open 24 hours.
