Despite the crowd, service was pleasant and efficient. This is a compact, rather snug restaurant. We were seated at a two-person table next to another two-person table. It was as if we were seated with the next table because the only separation was a shoulder-high board. But that was okay. JP wanted a low-carb breakfast and he was able to order what he wanted: slice tomatoes with bacon and a poached egg. I ordered the Country Fried Steak with brown gravy. I also ordered a glass of grapefruit juice. The grapefruit juice was excellent, full flavor and not sweet, like it's the real deal. I also ordered a chocolate shake. This is the place. I wanted something not greasy so I ended up with turkey open sandwich, potato salad, and mixed vegetables. Everything went in my tummy. My wife got a banana split. Hey! We can't all eat turkey. Food was great for the price, service quick, place is clean, and I like how you can see them cook in the open kitchen. Wish it was open 24 hours.
