I came here for the first time today for lunch. The ambiance is like your typical carryout spot. I would say that they have movie posters hung up on the walls which is super cool. The cashier was super nice. Great service. I ordered 2 steak n cheese with some waffle fries and some regular fries. Total was about $30 he gave me a free can soda with my purchase which was really nice. For taste wise, the steak n cheese are typical. They are not out of this world, but good for price and all. It was my first time ordering from this restaurant. I placed the order on Uber. One meal which seems simple enough, but they forgot to include the shrimp in the steak & SHRIMP dinner! I have been back one additional time recently. The steak sandwiches are okay--not great, but good. If you stick to the specials, it seems like the prices are fair. Otherwise, it's probably overpriced in relation to the quality. The tables are small and there is limited seating. The service also seemed a tad bit slow for the number of people ahead of me in line. I love this place.... I used to work fairly close and then switched jobs. So happy to be back in the area again!!! Food - the only two things I get are the cajun cheesesteak and the chicken tenders. Both are great in fact the cajun cheesesteak is the only cheesesteak I'll eat outside of Philadelphia. The fries are crinkle cut and always done well. Soggy stale fries make me want to kill myself (joking joking joking) but seriously the fries are some of the few I look forward too. There is "another one" in Fairfax station but isn't anywhere near as good. So don't think you'll be getting the same and don't based this location on that one. this was the second and last time I order from here. Previously I had ordered wings that were delicious, juicy, and properly cooked. The subs we ordered were ok and the fries were mediocre. This time, however, my order of wings looked like they spent 40 years in the desert: way overcooked and not very flavorful. I also tried the greek salad, which the lettuce was old and one of the peppers was spoiled. By the way, a good salad does not contain the tomato ends, which this one did. My wife called to complain and they offered a replacement salad, which we declined. Rather than offer a refund for the salad at least, we were offered "sorry about that". Just the fact that there is inconsistency in the food is enough to deter someone. But throw in spoiled food and "sorry"...eat at your own risk. read more

Other reviewers are correct, don't compare this to other Steak N things they are all independently owned. That said I went to George Mason and ate at the crappy one down there on OX, so when I moved in near this one I avoided it for over a year. I had the Super steak sub one time and I'm hooked! The Philly cheese steak is also great and the chicken Philly is pretty good as well. The chicken is cooked and flavored great just a little too much mayo the one time I got it. The Super steak is literally the best cheesesteak I've had anywhere within a 50 mile radius, went to a spot in Arlington over the weekend and realized this place in little ffx station just kills it. The Cajun cheesesteak is my go-to. Waffle and regular fries are delicious. Tacos and other Mexican fare is pretty good if you're looking to mix it up. Gyro is lacking for me but it's not terrible. Ordering delivery is always easy and they usually show up in about 30 minutes. This place has been a lot more consistent since under new management. read more

I do drive by the shopping plaza where this little gem is located and I have to stop and get it I'm not so sure about anything else on the menu, because I don't get anything else besides this. This place really disappointed me today (4/23/2015). All I ordered was a simple cheese steak with white American cheese ketchup and grilled onions. After biting into my sandwich I knew they did not use American cheese. I called the establishment to see if the issue could be fixed. To male a long story short the gentleman I spoke with didn't know the difference between white American cheese and Swiss, Provolone...... He would have made another sandwich for me but after he told me "I used Swiss American cheese" I was done. I hope the people who read this know there is White American Cheese and Yellow American cheese. They are almost the same nevertheless they taste nothing like swiss or provolone or mozzarella. So be careful because they may tell you " We used White American Provolone. American cheese is not the same as Swiss Provolone Mozzarella ...... This place doesn't know the difference.
