Perhaps this is more of a gyro location than a pizza spot. I feel bad for leaving less than a stellar review but equally responsible for sharing honest opinions. I will say that the ingredients that were fresh were nice, but not many were. A lot of the items felt like they were just heated from Restaurant Depot. The chicken parm was definitely a frozen bulk cutlet. The tomato sauce was not familiar to me. I would've assumed maybe it could be Tomato Magic but there was a more tinny flavor that might be tomato paste? The artichokes might be out of a jar and didn't get any roasted flavor from the oven. The pepperoni's also seemed very generic. The best pizza was definitely the Greek pizza, but the spinach was also nice. The ingredients seemed a lot better on it. The cheese might be pre-shredded... it was already coagulated and sticking to the deli paper by the time we opened the boxes. The fries were standard Restaurant Depot coated fries. As the pizzas cooled they tasted saltier and saltier. The pizzas look okay from the top, but the bottoms for me are underbaked. This might be because of the way they prepare the dough. The top side is docked to prevent big dough bubbles and the bottom uses a screen. To me this is more of a style you use when you're focused on volume. I would say stick with the Greek flavors here. Everyone has their preferences so maybe you will like it more than me. I was looking for something more traditional. read more

I came in here tonight for dinner. I got the beef bihari kebab pizza (medium, 14 inches $16.49), a slice of chocolate cake, and a couple of sodas, for a total of $24.09. The pizza came in eight slices. It had garlic herb sauce, green peppers, onion, marinated beef, and cheese. The beef was slightly dry--if you are familiar with beef kebab you will know the taste I am talking about. The crust was not too thick or too thin, which is an issue with so many pizza joints. The pizza was not too greasy. The cheese was good. The meal was ready in about 20 minutes. I ate three slices and took the rest home too eat later. The service was very friendly. The facilities were clean and well maintained. This is one of the best pizzas I have had in the D.C. area. Keep up the excellent work. No complaints. read more

I ordered the Chicken Fajita pizza, and it was really disappointing. There was barely any meat on it -- just a few small pieces, and mostly bell peppers. The taste was strange, more like cooked egg with bell peppers and cheese than an actual fajita. Just real human connection. We ended up having such an incredible conversation! I mentioned I work in real estate, and he shared that his daughter is looking to buy a home. I'm so excited to help his family the same way he took care of mine last night. As for the food... unreal doesn't even begin to cover it. He personally recommended the beef Bihari pizza, so I ordered that along with the chicken tikka. The chicken tikka pizza was everything people promised and more! It was perfectly seasoned, creamy, rich, and layered with flavor in every single bite. The beef Bihari pizza was next level: tender, smoky, deeply spiced beef that tasted like it had been marinated with intention and cooked with pride. Ok, this place is a disaster. I went to this restaurant with my family and it was a total mess. First of all the heater didn't work and didn't inform us that the heater is not available. They let us order a grilled sandwich even tho the grill was not working and they fail to mention it. The cashier was super rude and the food was under cooked. When we spoke to the cashier the cashier commented saying that "your taste bud is the problem". The place was dirty and napkins everywhere. My family eats at this place a lot. They have a really tasty Chicken Tikka pizza. It's not too spicy so great for kids. Garlicy, gingery, cheesy goodness. I've only ever ordered carry-out from Pizza & Gyro (both before and during the pandemic). It's our favorite place in VA to order Halal pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The staff has always been kind and placing carry-out orders over the phone is quite easy. The restaurant also offers coupons every so often over text message (if customers sign up), to entice sales. The Halal pepperoni and mushroom pie I ordered last week was scrumptious. I loved the amount of toppings given and the crispy crust was fantastic. I didn't find the pizza to be overly greasy and a large pie was a decent amount of food for a family of five to have at least one slice each (I definitely suggest ordering at least one more large pie if there are more adults in the party). Free street parking is available right outside the restaurant, but it can get pretty busy as there are several other eateries and international super markets in the area. It's not so bad, but definitely requires one to take extra glances than normal pulling out of a spot. read more

I was visiting the area and needed to find a zabiha halal eatery. I happened across them when one of their neighbors was falsely advertising halal. And boy am I glad I did! Yummy food, great energy, lots of customers, and very kind front end gentleman. The restaurant is simple but clean and spacious. I had the chicken chapli kabab pizza one night and the 8" grilled chicken sub the next. Out of the 2, I would definitely get the pizza again. The meat in the sub needed a sauce or more seasoning, in my opinion. But the hidden gem was the mango soft serve. I heard another guest mention it on the first night and boy, he wasn't kidding! I haven't seen any really recent reviews of here so Imma going to drop this now. We quite like Pizza and Gyro. We have not gotten pizza here, so I cannot speak to that. What we have gotten is wings. And, they are delicious. Large, spicy (we do the buffalo hot) and not greasy. We have ordered several times from here and always go to pick it up. And I do not know what the people saying it's dirty are talking about. Its not. And I am super picky about these things. But back to the food. We have also ordered the salad with chicken tenders and the chipotle chicken sandwich and both were also good. Chicken was crispy and tasty. Salad was fresh. Eventually I may try the pizza. I've been craving pizza for the past month or so, so on the way back to my cousin's house, we decided to stop by for lunch. Back at home, I usually just go to Domino's, so it's your typical sausage, pepperoni, and chicken alfredo type thing. When I heard this place had a Chicken Tikka, I was immediately intrigued, so we ordered half chicken tikka and half steak. I was so hungry at that point, so we immediately ate in the car. That first bite of the Chicken Tikka got me hooked. I loved the flavor of it and although I wished there were more chicken to each bite, I still enjoyed the selection of vegetables they added. The steak half was supposed to have a garlic taste to it, if I remember correctly, but it wasn't that strong. I just wasn't impressed with this side of the pizza, so I continued eating the other half. If they had a location back in Cali, I would definitely go back to grab their pizza. read more

Greek Gyro. The meat was dry and looked a couple of days old. The lettuce was also dry. I kept the gyro meat and trashed the rest. The meat was horrible and I got sick later. I also ordered a chicken shawarma pizza and didn't eat it. I was afraid because the restaurant was not clean. Once I saw the outside I was apprehensive about going inside to pick up my phone order. I went in anyway but I wish I hadn't. There are too many other places to get food near this place and they look a lot cleaner. Here's the pic of my Gyro and the pizza. I have 2 stars because the fries were pretty good while they were hot so you can see I ate all of them. I found this spot on Yelp as the hubby and I wanted to order delivery from a place other than our regular and limited selection of places. I always love stumbling on gems as that is what this place is. We have ordered from this place now two or three times and everything has always been delicious with a flawless ordering process. I have tried the pizza, chicken wings, fried chicken and the hubby also tried a steak and cheese. So far, everything has been finger licking good! I wish they made their own dipping sauce for their wings, but, eh, Ken's dressings are pretty good. I encourage you to try this spot. But, keep in mind, I am only vouching for the delivery process and food. I don't know what the dine-in experience is like. Time to eat! read more
