Who wants to cook after the week the DMV has had, snow and ice Jan 2026. Received a BOGO email from &Pizza so that's where we headed late Friday evening. Entered through the front store entrance opposed to the mall side entrance. We were immediately greeted but had to wait to be helped as the staff was preparing to go orders. We noticed that the usual signs had been removed from the walls showing the different offerings, hmmm. The dining area which consists of several tables and chairs were clean. After about 10 minutes we were able to place our order. We told the pizza maker what we wanted on our individual pizzas and he was accommodating and friendly. Patiently waited for our pizzas to go through the pizza oven and get the requested finishing. Several other patrons came in during our visit with a few dining in. This is a great location for personalized pizzas with generous toppings and friendly service. Whether dining in or doing take-away we have never had a bad experience. read more

I had &pizza for lunch on 4/2. The locations at Potomac Yard and Springfield Town Center are the most consistent locations I have been to. The staff is friendly and efficient, the pizza is well crafted and flavorful and the ambiance is cool and laid back. As for the pizza, I like to create my own. Crispy crust, good toppings and great finishes. Oh! And don't forget the Ginger Berry Lemonade-yum. read more

Two large, long tables for people to eat or there are several smaller tables in the mall. We bought two pies. New G...the fresh mozzarella was thick and cheesy. I really liked their crust and they put just the right amount of tomato sauce. The fresh basil was large leafs....I would have torn those before baking. We also got Lil Roni. We needed a last minute dinner option and ordered Uber Eats from here. I did a make your own and it was just not good. There was hardly any sauce on it, the Italian sausage wasn't actual sausage but weird deli like medallions. I ended up taking the sausage off and throwing half of the pizza away. Louis walked me through it, and I built a create-your-own white pizza with shredded and fresh mozzarella, basil, a couple of proteins, and yes -- I added an egg . $12 for a made-to-order pizza feels like a solid deal. The pizza came out piping hot and fresh (had to wait a few minutes, but that's a good sign). The flavor was great and I really enjoyed it. Why four stars and not five? * Staff wasn't exactly warm or friendly -- not rude, just kind of going through the motions. * No extras on the table -- no garlic, Parmesan, salt, or pepper to tweak the flavor yourself. This store is right next to Mezeh and can be accessed without having to go into the mall. There were no lines. The employees who builds the pizza seemed to be irritated when I asked questions about the ingredients and while I was trying to decide which toppings I wanted. The guy at the end of the cooking process just tree the pizza in the box as though he couldn't wait to get off work. Very poorly managed. Employees move slow and the place was dirty. I placed my order in ahead of time on the app and timed my arrival to when the order said it would be done. I went to pickup my order about 2-3 minutes after it was done. I ended up waiting a little more than 10minutes for my order and it came out wrong. What's the point of customizing your pizza if they're not gonna pay attention to the details. I had to end up asking for a refund. read more

On first impression, our pizzas looked like they were made in a rush. We've been here before and today's pizza looked a little sloppier. However, they're kept in a warmer until pickup, so they were still warm even though we were a little late. The pizzas themselves were still good (despite how they looked). The hot honey and goat cheese combination is sublime! I don't usually like pizza crust, I do enjoy &pizza crust - it's on the thinner end. Although the ordering issue was partially my fault, the website could have had better alerts about the selected pickup store for the order *especially for brand new customers). I have changed the ratings to neutral and will update my review after we have a chance to try them in the future. I established a new account with &Pizza to make an order for pickup. Built an order with several pizzas and appetizers, and submitted it. During the ordering process, there were no warnings or alerts about the selected store for pickup. After the order was submitted, I immediately realized that it was to the wrong store in a completely different state. No problem, I should be able to immediately cancel, right? WRONG. First, there is no phone number to call, either for the particular store itself or for overall customer support. Second of all, there is no way to cancel the online order through the website! Just options to view previous orders or check the status of an existing order. Even immediately after submitting the order, the website has no ability to cancel. The only customer support available is by texting an automated number that just gives generic responses. Then they will take up to 24 hours to get back to you. Absolutely terrible, poorly structured ordering system and customer service options. This was going to be the first order for my wife and me to try &Pizza. Now, they have lost us as future customers, and we'll make sure to warn others to avoid this restaurant chain in the future. read more

Asked for sausage, Basil leaves, and cheese only on the pizza, and the lazy dude behind the counter shredded merely 3 basil leaves, and 6 pieces of sausage and charged me for extra cheese because I asked for two different kinds of cheese. I asked him if he could add more basil leaves and sausage because that is all the toppings I needed and his response was it'll be extra. &Pizza owners should train their employees better or maybe that is how they are trained to skim on customers! In general I love &pizza, and this location was no exception. I managed to escape and grab some delicious pizza for lunch. To my surprise, they weren't pizza at all. The employees were very quick and patient with my order. Even though this is located in the mall there is an exterior entrance. I've been to a lot...like a lot...of &pizzas in the day and have come to expect a really easy going, chill vibe along with a very delicious pizza but that's not usually the case here. The tables are always dirty and I am rarely met with a smile. Luckily the pizza still lives up to it's name but the painful service experience leaves something to be desired. They've eliminated all seating to allow for better distancing when standing in line, end have added additional partitions to the cash register area. Loved the sign on the door promoting racial equity and equality as well. My pizzas were great as expected! I got a simple pepperoni for my kiddos and a vegan-cheese topped one for myself since I'm trying to cut down on my dairy. Of course they have the prefix options rotating out a featured pizza each month or so as well as the faithful hits, but if you are anything like me and what to control your options, then by all means you can craft your pizza your way here. First crust is a must! They do have options of dough (such as gluten free) as well as option of sauces (if in doubt, classic it out) which are all labeled for your convenience. Now it may seem that it is thinly smeared but too much sauce in this case would lead to a soggy pizza the end, so trust their sauce judgement. Next you get to choose from a plethora of options, from whole mozzarella balls, vegan cheese and even shredded mozzarella balls (pause). You can get some veggies too and never fear many a meat selection is near!!! Once you get your pizza baby dressed they slide it into the oven as you progress down the line and meet your pride and joy on the other side!!! My personal fav is the Burdock + Anise Rootbeer, so yummy!!! The location is on the front side of Springfield Mall, so there is plenty of parking out front. They do have some indoor/outdoor seating as well as additional seating that overflows into the mall hallway right outside the location. The tables were clean, location was clean and the staff was super friendly. Long lines, no worries, the line moves quickly since the employees are efficient to a tee! What a busy place!! My coworker and I searched Yelp to find that &pizza had good ratings so we decided to check it out. We arrived right in the middle of lunch hour and it was super busy. That's a good thing. I don't like eating at places that are bare, especially during peak times. They have lots of different options for sauces and toppings, including vegan toppings. That is a plus! Unfortunately, they were out of the vegan sausage when I asked. I chose the Farmer's Daughter pizza without the sausage. I got mine on wheat dough, with spicy tomato sauce and a "scrambled" egg. I was wondering how they would scramble my egg. So the guy basically used just the egg yolk and dizzled it on top of the pizza with his hand. Of course he used gloves. They all do! They stick all of the pizzas in a rotating oven, similar to how Potbelly and Quiznos heats their sandwiches. On the other side of that, you can put additionals toppings on your pizza, like parmesan cheese. Overall, the pizza was good. Because of the very thin crust, the pizza comes out slighty crispy. Some of my toppings didn't always stay on when I bit into a slice. I guess it's okay unless you want a taste of toppings with every bite. My pizza paired with a refreshing drink hit the spot. I love those yearly Yelp events that feature several vendors. Not only do you get to sample different foods but often you get some great coupons! &pizza was at the April event and we stopped by their table. They were giving out samples of their sodas so we gave them a try. The nice young man who was working at the table asked us if we had been to any &pizza. We told him that we've yet to get to one. He asked where we lived and he told us that the one in Springfield was the closest one. Then he gave us each a coupon for a free pizza! Of course, we thanked him. This was good marketing on their part because we finally made it to an &pizza! My husband wasn't sure that it would be worth going to Springfield for free pizza. I told him that since we haven't been to Springfield for a couple of years it was worth a visit just to see how it was like now. Plus we would get a cheap meal. He agreed and we were here on a Saturday around 4:30. It wasn't at all crowded at that time. The woman at the counter was very friendly and helpful. We both started with the traditional crust to which we added tomato sauce and shredded mozzarella. I also added tomatoes and bacon to mine while my husband got pepperoni. Of course the pizzas came out quickly and I finished mine off with fresh basil while my husband declined to add anything more to his. When it was time to pay, we gave the cashier our coupons, then ordered 2 sodas. She thought we only ordered 1 and gave us 1 cup. My husband told her that we wanted 2. in the end, all this only cost $5 + dollars. I got some fig and pear elixir while my husband got dark cherry cola. My soda tasted like nothing. It was like drinking pink seltzer water---what a disappointment. My husband's soda had good flavor. The pizzas were okay---not the best we've ever had but far from the worst. We liked that they didn't go too heavy with the tomato sauce which made the pizza easier to eat. The toppings were fine. For what we paid, we had no complaints about the pizza. Would we go back? Sure, if one was closer to us. They are supposed to open one in Tysons Corner but if we were at Tysons, we would go elsewhere. Now if there were one in Sterling, okay, we'll go. I am so upset for for giving this pizza cafe a low rating , I have had their pizza pies about a half dozen times if not more at different locations throughout the DC area , however this location is extremely busy at all times . My problem with this location is their staff , it seems that they lack or had no descent training , I ordered the mushroom experience, I had to ask to spread the sauce on the pie , he did and moved it to the next person after he stared at me with an unpleasant look , he then moved to put the cheese , he lost half of amount of the mushroom that supposedly goes of the pie next put onions in the middle of pie again losing half of it in between his rubber gloves . After I mention what I saw , he gave the same unpleasant look and continued to place the pizza on the belt ... I left without saying a word never to step in this place again . read more
