Love this place! We've been patrons since 2011. That's eight years getting pretty damn consistent food here. Maybe on 2 or 3 occasions we've had a missing item. That's it. We ordered tonight and food was fabulous. We didn't get a full picture of the pizza before a bite was taken - I'm sorry about that. But the hunger bug bites you and boom, it strikes you. Pizza was cooked to order (regular, not light or well done), nice firm yet foldable crust. Not burnt and not too soft/underdone. A tad greasy but that's to be expected with the epic amount of cheese and pepperoni they load up on these pies. I always dab some paper towels on top to soak up that overload. It's good as is, but I am trying to watch my grease intake (I have this grease valve, it gets too full sometimes... it's a mess. Don't ask!). We've expanded and tried their other items like the grilled chicken sub, the chicken Philly, and we've had the jalapeño poppers. Jalapeño poppers aren't so great. To be honest they're kind of yucky. Cheddar doesn't go in poppers, cream cheese does. Every time we've tried them, the cheddar is a solid block of semi-warm or cold cheese. Cheddar doesn't melt well no matter how much you fry the crap outta them, and it'd probably burn the outside if they were cooked to the point they need. Grilled chicken sub is my husband's favorite. I also like it too, as well as the steak and cheese. The chicken Philly is exactly like the steak and cheese as far as texture goes but it's also on the salty side. I like that though. All subs we order without lettuce. Lettuce under prolonged heat wilts and gets super soggy. Don't do it! We love their mozzarella sticks! Crispy and served with marinara, they're a perfect app for the pizza. I haven't had their bacon cheese fries in forever but I'm dying to try again. Not sure about the rash of bad reviews. We order often and it's always been good. I'm so glad Paisano's put the rewards program in place that I've been bugging them for!! By far some of the best Gluten-Free pizza in the area. The crust is fluffier than most GF pizzas - it's *almost* like eating the real thing! Even better - the GF pizza doesn't cost an exorbitant amount - it's pretty reasonably priced at about $13 for a medium. They're fast - great delivery and easy pickup. The location has two spots out front reserved for pickup which is great. I haven't ordered from this location in a while because of past food quality issues. Uber eats was offering a coupon for this location so i decided to give them another try. we ordered 3 items. The gyro salad and the gyro sandwich were fairly decent. On the other hand their Stromboli was very small, was basically all dough, and had barely any filling!. Extremely frustrating that they would find it acceptable allow an item of that poor quality leave their kitchen. we only had about four or five bites from the middle (the only portion that had any cheese or pepperoni) and gave the rest to my dog because he loves crust! I will probably never order from this particular location again unless it is by mistake, when I'm actually meaning to order from the Lorton location instead. read more

Terrible delivery service. Drivers often confuse my address with another one in our neighborhood because we have the same address except they live on 'street' and we live on 'court'. We do our best to explain this to drivers ahead of time as a courtesy. Anyway, the driver delivered our meal to the wrong address despite my warning. The order was said to be delivered within 45 minutes. I called after an hour for a status update but was put on hold for 10 minutes while the manager tried to get a hold of the driver. He was unable to do so after '10 attempts' and asked me to wait 5 minutes before calling back. I eventually received a call back from the manager claiming that the driver delivered the food but alas it was sent to the OTHER house. My family were still hungry so I got a refund and ordered from somewhere else. I won't be ordering from here again. read more

Pizza is my favorite easy food. Used to live in Chicago. Eaten at almost every pizza place there and a lot of the places here. This particular store in Springfield VA just makes excellent pizza. The crust is crispy, the ingredients taste so fresh, and the flavors... let's just say they aren't afraid to be bold with spices. Definitely not aiming at the general "make everyone in the world happy with bland sauce and ingredients" market, they risk and hit the mark every time we order. If you want a flavorful combo get the Supreme. If you love garlic then try Paulie's Pizza. It's been 20 min and I can still taste it! I frequently stay in the Springfield area for work and Paisanos is one of my "go to" places for fresh decent food at affordable prices. While I enjoy their pizza I am blown away by the garlic spaghetti with meat sauce. I wish I lived closer so I could have it more often. The staff is friendly and professional. I came here for dinner tonight, and I ordered a baked spaghetti with meat sauce that came to around $13. The meat sauce cost an additional $2 which the Cashier forgot to mention. The Manager was standing right by him and didn't say anything. I just left it as is and didn't say anything. I could tell right away when I walked through the door that this place is mainly geared towards pizza delivery, but they do have some seats. It took them about 7 minutes to prepare this and bring it to where I was sitting. It was a cent size portion of spaghetti and it tastes good, I'm still working on it. This also included two pieces o garlic bread and it tasted good as well. They did a fine job, and I will come back again when I get the urge to eat more spaghetti! read more

Customer service not really good. Cashier didn't smile, I repeated myself few times to place my order in person. A small pizza took more 10 minutes to make and I was the only one there in the store. It makes it very concerning when there is a sign in the window that say "masks and/or face coverings are required upon entering" but the staff is not following their own requirements. There's no excuse for this. I trust someone from Paisano's corporate will be addressing the issue at this specific location. This location deserves 5 stars. We've ordered weekly during the pandemic. Our food is always delicious; the delivery drivers are so nice; food arrives quickly; prices are reasonable; portions generous. So why the downgrade to 4 stars? Not being able to use the promos corporate office promotes thru email and Facebook, numerous times over the past year. And the last time I tried to use the app to place my order, as I've done innumerable times during the pandemic, the app would not work. And yes I've contacted the corporate office three times with my concerns. Once I just received an automated email. Twice received empty apologies with offers that have never materialized. This is my go to place for subs in Springfield. I really like their Italian. They are a little heavy handed with the dressing, so I ask for that on the side, but it is good dressing, much better than mayo. Subs are reasonably priced and large enough to last two lunches. Meh. I recently ordered lasagna for delivery from this location. Although the lasagna was okay, there was no silverware in the bag. Hmm..not exactly finger food! The best thing was the garlic bread which I used to make a sandwich to eat my lasagna! The kicker was the delivery guy. I am a decent tipper. It was raining and had every intention of tipping the guy 20% plus because of the cruddy weather. I handed him the money and he acted like he was keeping the change. I work at Springfield Mall few blocks away from this restaurant. Today I ordered the food and this delivery guy called after 30 minutes and told me to come out side the building to pick up the food. Are you kidding me???? I told him i work by myself plus i'm paying DELIVERY FEE to get the food on the door. Purchased their "new" Mac & Cheese"; Mistake number 1. Cost was highly inflated ($12) for two 4oz cups. I let the people know what I thought about this (homemade?) new product. Management was decent enough to call me and express his apologies in my disappointment. I was further informed that they would reach out to corporate for resolution. To date, nothing heard; crickets. I got a flyer the other day in the mail from Paisano's and decided to try them out. If there is one thing Springfield has a lot of, it has to be pizza/greek/italian places. Last night was the perfect time to try out Paisano's because Delia's has been closed for the past couple weeks for renovations. My husband and I decided to do delivery. I got the Greek Salad with chicken and he made his own calzone with ham, pineapple, and banana peppers. The food came pretty quickly, about 30 minutes. Which is nice, because we usually pick up from Delia's since it can take up to an hour. I was a little skeptical about getting the Greek Salad because it said it came with Italian dressing. But I wasn't really hungry enough for anything else, so I got it anyway and decided that if the dressing was not good I would use one from our fridge. Thankfully the dressing turned out to be good. It wasn't your typical Italian dressing you get from the grocery store. It was creamy rather than oil-based. It tasted a little similar to the dressing Delia's has, but not as sweet. As for the rest of the salad: PROS: portion was pretty big, I had trouble finishing my salad; greens were fresh and the chicken was plentiful and tender; i really liked having banana peppers instead of pepperocinis. CONS: would rather have cherry tomatoes instead of tomato slices My husband enjoyed his calzone. We will definitely be trying out other items from the menu, especially the pizza. Uggg, once again they have found a way to over charge me again. I really do enjoy the pizza but I am getting tired of the feeling that they don't know how to charge their customers. I order a 1/2 Greek pizza and 1/2 pepperoni. I was charged for a whole Greek of 17.99 and then charged extra for the pepperoni on top of that. By my calculations I was over charged $2.65 on my order. We like to get their pizza every week, but but if you are over charging us every week this really adds up. read more

First off they have a great website and do online ordering which to me is a giant plus because they apparently are doing good business if they can afford to set up that kind of technology. Ordered Caesar Salad w/Chicken & Honey Mustard Small Personal Pizza w/ Sausage and Onions.. The order arrived within 20 mins even though it was prime dinner time and raining out which I figured they would be really busy. The food was AMAZING for delivery the salad was crisp and in a huge portion. The honey mustard dressing was very good and a nice size container. Pizza was a very nice size for personal and was very good with fresh toppings and lots of flavor. Very impressed with everything about Paisano's and for 20 dollars delivered to me it was a steal! I never had any issues with their drivers before but the last driver I dealt with was horrible.
