We were hoping for a more authentic pizza, but the pizza tasted like it's from Little Ceasar's (bland), the fries were too clumpy and greasy, but the mozzarella sticks were better than the pizza and fries. Basically, it was too pricey for the quality. I was completely caught off-guard when the manager called me within minutes of leaving my review pleading with me to change my review ans also offered to delete it! He kept saying they're a family-owned business, which I get, but I need to leave an honest review for others. Management, maybe work on improving your food instead of harassing your customers. First time eating here on a Thursday lunchtime. I do not recommend this restaurant. My experience was bad and took forever to receive my order. I only ordered 2 subs! Nothing special about them. The place was empty except for 2 customers waiting for their order, yet it took 40 minutes for 2 simple subs -- from the time placing the order with the cashier to receiving my order! Not worth the wait. There was only 1 person working solo and overwhelmed -- acting as cashier, phone order taker, and cook. I ordered with the cashier and after 20 minutes of patiently waiting, I see that the cook/cashier still had not yet even prepared my order for cooking! I asked the cook/cashier to cancel my order, but he ignored my request and walked to the back and said it's a few more minutes. My kid has practice at south run rec center 2-3 times a week. Once a week we do pizza night. My husband randomly found this pizzeria. The location is great and the staff is extremely kind and professional. It's a small Mom and pop pizzeria! We've only been there two times and we've only had their pizza, but I look forward to many more visits as the soccer season progresses. My kid is not too adventurous with toppings, but the two pizzas we've received have been delicious and no crumb was left behind. Their price and size of pizza is a steal in the economy. This is a decent spot for a late night bite to eat! I was in the area and this was one of the only spots open late. They had decent reviews so I decided to give it a try. Though this pizza place is take-out, the quality does not diminish as you transport it home. I even reheated this the next day and it still tasted great! We called the place to order the pizza promotion they were running for their grand opening. The lady that took our order was nice and answered our questions. The pizza was fresh and delicious. Pizza is ok, not great. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. We order at least weekly, and the delivery tracker never gets past it's being cooked. Wanna know why? They don't want you to know that the delivery is behind. It might be five minutes it might be an hour. Today was 75 minutes beyond the original delivery time, plus the 45 min original delivery time means I waited 120 minutes, 2 hours for pizza. Management is always difficult, they never seen to understand the system and can't ever tell me anything about my delivery. I live less than 2 miles away. Highly recommend ordering well done or the cheese is so loose it literally slides off the pizza. Extremely annoying, consistently. Well, there's your two stars. read more

If you want cheesy bread, then this place is for you. As for pizza? Not so much. I would say this place is just okay. It recently opened, so it still has some kinks to work out, but my biggest issue is how little sauce there is on the pizza. It feels like I'm eating cheesy bread with the toppings I ordered rather than a good pizza. When my family and I ask for extra sauce, it costs nearly $5 -- as if it's an extra topping. The kicker: it doesn't say that anywhere in person or on the paper menu. I calculated how much my pizza would cost for my last order, and then I was charged nearly $20 more (I was getting 4 pizzas for a big night) simply for extra sauce. The guy checking me out was very nice and helped me sort it out (I wasn't going to pay $20 for barely more sauce). My family (except for me) usually asks for extra sauce. I don't like sauce as much as them (usually ask for "light sauce" at normal chains, but I didn't here) but even I was surprised by how sauceless my pizza was. When we did receive "extra" sauce, we could still barely taste it. When we went back to ask about the extra sauce, the lady wasn't helpful (saying that it was there, even though we couldn't taste it) -- but she might have been busy (hence the short attitude). I would say the discounts and deals (along with free delivery to my area) make this an excellent pizza place that I would love to go to more often -- but the taste of the pizza leaves much to be desired. The crust doesn't have much flavor (just bread), and the cheese can sometimes get too crispy (but these are not huge deal-breakers). I like how they put the toppings under the cheese -- it makes it better than chains. But all in all, I'm just eating cheesy bread. I'd rather make my own pizza to get a better cheese : sauce : crust ratio for cheap. read more

In reading the other reviews for this establishment, I was not aware it was a local, family run business. I'm all for supporting those kinds of places, but we've ordered from here twice and been disappointed both times. My family ordered from here right after they opened. I was not home for that dinner but the reviews I got were negative for the food, the service and the ordering process. I decided to give them some time to get up and running and tried them (myself for the first time) last night. When it was Pizza Boli's, our standard order was wings and pizza. We ordered that last night (online, which was extremely easy) and I was not impressed. The wings weren't bad. They were a tad small for the price I thought, but the flavors were good. I got the hot Buffalo and my daughter got the plain, both oven baked. 8 wings for $12 seems a bit pricey to me, but I would rate them better than the other local pizza chains. The pizza. I cannot remember a more bland tasting pizza in my life. I got it with chicken and red onions (misread the menu, I was trying to order red peppers--my error). There was no flavor to any part of the pizza. Another reviewer mentioned that the sauce is light, and I completely agree. We got thin crust, which was a good size, but again, it had no taste. The cheese and toppings also seemed very bland. I've never eaten something that was physically there, but if I closed my eyes, I wouldn't be able to tell what it was. I'm not going to order from this establishment again, which is disappointing because it is so close. I'm not in agreement with the reviewers who mention the food is flavorful--maybe they ordered subs or something, but I hate to say that pizza from the chains nearby are a better option. read more

Not thrilled with first experience. Called about $5 special and asked how much it would be to add a topping. I was told $2.75, so I ordered half cheese/half sausage. When I picked it up, I was charged $9.99 for the pizza. When I asked about the discrepancy, I was told the $5 special was cheese only. I decided not to argue even though I was paying $5 for one topping on half of the pizza. The person working the counter was completely overwhelmed, and I didn't think it was worth arguing over $2. Other issues: pizza was underdone and not sliced, and I did not get dressing with the salad. This used to be pizza boils in Huntsman square. Decided to give it try since it's a new business. Placed order through grub hub and selected the pickup time. Arrived at the location on time, of course the order wasn't ready. One guy working at the counter asked if I wanted everything on the steak & cheese. It was clear they hadn't even started on it. Waited about 20-22 minutes more and finally it was ready, no apology or nothing for the delay. For a new business trying to establish a good reputation in the neighborhood, not a good start. read more
