As soon as you walk in, they are super kind and offer a sample of their chicken shawarma. The employees were just super super friendly and want to make sure you are taken care of and everything was cooked fresh! I got a shawarma sandwich mixed with chicken and beef with a side of fries. I think $5 for a side of fries is a little crazy lol but they did taste good! Heard a lotta good things about this place and just happened to be at the mall that day and gave them a try, worth going and trying! My total was about $21 for a shawarma, side of fries, and a bottle of water Located upstairs at the beginning of the food court.
You will find this gem in just outside of the food court at Springfield Mall. Being that the restaurant is locate in a mall, there is no problem finding parking. The place has a very small dining area and there is a table outside of the restaurant that you can eat. The woman working was very friendly, helpful and nice. She is definitely an asset to the place. The restaurant serves shawarma beef and chicken sandwiches/pita, enchiladas, street tacos, and nachos. You can choose the type of shell you get your taco in including tazki, and soft. You then pick the tacos toppings. I ordered a soft shawarma chicken taco, a shawarma beef sandwich and an order of fries. It took them about 5 minutes to prepare my food and it was absolutely delicious. They both were so flavorful and tasty. I was full after my meal. I highly recommend both items. Do not sleep on mall restaurants. This place has some high quality, fresh food. I am so glad that I made it here and highly recommend checking this place out.
I loved the street tacos, which is all that I had. They come in 3 flavors: chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, and falafel. The falafel taco was vegetarian. You can also get unlimited toppings on each taco. The staff were extremely friendly as well. The only disappointment I had was that they did not have the two drinks that I wanted (mint ayran or vimto), even though they were listed on the menu, so I settled for a mango lassi instead. The mango lassi was great as well. Besides that one disappointment, everything else was great.
Located outside food court area. Seating available with counter service. Friendly staff who were very helpful and informative. I tried the chicken burrito, it was okay, meat seemed a little dry. It was not for me, but my Grandson killed it & he liked it. Prices were reasonable and staff was great so give it a shot for something new.
Third time here and I love this spot! There's a new owner for this place and he was super nice! I got the chicken shawarma once again and got extra garlic (was a little too much but I mean I asked for it!) I would definitely recommend trying this place out!
The guy serving was so kind. We've been here before and it's always good and fresh. The place has little space to dine but it is right next to the food court. We also got fries and they load the basket up with nicely seasoned fries and a side of sauce that I loved.
I'm glad there is a new place to eat at Springfield mall. Owner/employee was really helpful in explaining the options since we didn't know what to order. We ordered the chicken quesadilla and protein (chicken) and salad with unlimited toppings. Both choices were delicious. Salad was huge so we took the rest home. Prices are good. Will come back when at the mall again. Shawarma taco, what a great idea!
My brother and I went to check what the hype is about. This small cafe is location inside Springfield Mall, left of Cinnabon in the food court. The seating area is small but manageable. As you walk in, the menu is display in the overhead behind the cashier. You walk up to the cashier, select your meat choices of chicken, beef and falafel or combo meals too and with your meal you can select a variety of sides. Once you are called up, you then can add your unlimited toppings including variety of sauces. If you are not sure which sauces they have, just ask because all staff are friendly l, patient and very knowledgeable. All orders are prepared fresh. It's definitely an experience and we will definitely make a return visit. I ordered the chicken and beef shawarma tacos with a side of generous portion of tater tots. My brother got the combo order which includes all meats tacos with jalapeños de gallo. If you just look and walk by, you are missing out on a hidden gem!
Wanted to try something new. Off the path of what my kids usually eat. I decided to try this place since my kids have taken a liking to tacos. The chicken was really good. The beef, the kids didn't take a liking to. I think the seasoning was a bit off for them. The sauce was pretty good to me. Portion sizes were huge and very filling. The meat was overflowing. Everything was made to order, so it came out super hot. The service was great. It is so kind and helpful. The seating area was a bit small, but it worked because we went during a weekday, so it wasn't too crowded. It's definitely worth a try if you're in the area and want something a but different.

Summary: exactly what the name of the restaurant implies, they serve up a fusion of middle eastern meets Mexican foods in a little shop within Springfield mall. I ordered a chicken shawarma taco and fries (not pictured). They have a large selection of toppings to pick from to customize your order and everything felt fresh and tasty. Their shawarma sauce is also delicious. The fries were a bit lackluster and were kind of mushy - they were the crinkle cut kind. Service was okay and it took about 10 minutes to fill my order which felt pretty long considering I ordered one taco. But the food is fresh and they make things to order. Overall, tasty food and a great concept and I enjoyed my experience. read more

Amazing customer service! The gentleman was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. Outstanding food! Juicy, perfectly spiced shawarma tacos with fresh toppings and that killer garlic sauce - best fusion I've tried in a while. Highly recommend - 5/5! Definitely going back. read more

Wow!!! This place is a must try! If you have ever had a burrito and/or a shawarma, you have got to try this place! It mixes the two dishes and gives you an amazing flavor! The idea is simple but the flavors will make your taste buds dance. I had a chicken shawarma burrito and soft taco and I was blown away by the flavor. The manager was super nice and friendly and since this was my first time visiting I told him to make me a shawarma the way he wanted a customer to eat it. I was amazed by the fact that I could taste everything in both the burrito and taco. Every topping is made fresh and doesn't overpower your taste buds. The chicken was tender, the sauces are flavorful, the mango salsa surprises you and the mix of cheeses balanced it all out. If you're in the Springfield Mall and hungry, you need to stop and try this place. Let the know Guzman sent you. read more

My mom and I tried this place in Springfield Town Center after going to the movie theater, and we were pleased with our experience at Shawarma Taco! My mom got a protein salad with chicken and I got the beef shawarma "sandwich" (really a wrap). The menu was a little hard to navigate, but the owner was very helpful and kind and let us choose our own toppings, sauces, and veggies, and even let us try his grape leaves at no extra cost. All the food was fresh and delicious, but both our dishes were pretty salty so we were very thirsty for the next day. The portions are large and filling though and are definitely worth the price, and service is fast and friendly. There's only a few tables in the establishment, but the food court is right around the corner so that shouldn't be an issue if the place is full. I would certainly come back again when I'm at the mall and have a taco or shawarma craving! read more

I love the fusion of different foods, and Shawarma Taco does not disappoint. I love the food, and the staff is super friendly. It is my actual destination every time I go to the Springfield Mall -- regardless of the real reason I might tell people. The unique combination of protein and toppings adds a flavor that keeps me coming back. read more

The chicken shawarma is decent but their rice is gloopy and wet, but their price covers the quality. The service is decent and you seat yourself. I like the cleanliness of the place. It's really appetizing to eat there. They clean the tables well. I wouldn't get out of my way to come here, but it's a good place to eat after shopping read more
