I saw this place in passing, googled it and realized it was a chicken over rice spot, and got super excited. I'm a huge fan and try to hit up all of the spots. I'm surprised I had not heard of this. Walked in during a Sunday afternoon and it was just us. But the service was super fast, and we saw the bowl being made right in front of us. I got a combo with chicken and lamb and my husband got the lamb with extra meat. They are super generous with their portions and even have a few toppings that I haven't seen at other places. Such as cheese! I believe it's an extra charge though and we didn't know that until we saw the receipt. I had to get a ton of white sauce of course but they had about 4 different choices, including the spicy red sauce. We were given complimentary drinks from the fridge which was nice. As for the food, it was amazing! Even after taking it to go and driving 15 mins in the freezing cold. The food remained warm and the cheese got all melty. So delicious. The lamb was very flavorful and so was the chicken! Way better than some of the recent chicken over rice places we've been going to. I want to go back and try their crepes!

We went here last night for dinner and dessert. The employees were so nice and really loaded our chicken bowl! Everything was do fresh and tasty! They even gave us free drinks with the food, which was so nice! I had the strawberry and Nutella crepe and it was very yummy! We will come back again soon for more halal and crepes! Their prices are also very reasonable!

I have some mixed reviews because I didn't have the best Uber eats experience and similar to a previous reviewer, their chicken made me a bit sick. Ordering was easy and their menu is pretty straightforward but again my delivery driver didn't do the best job. He didn't actually change his arrival status and attempted to call me but I had no signal for the call to go through. Would only re-order if I was craving something sweet like a crepe.

The food here is okay but I don't think I would get it again. I ordered the combo rice platter, and it was a good portion size. I liked how it had a lot of sauce on it, and I thought the gyro meat was good, albeit a little salty. The chicken was not very good though. It kinda had a weird taste and wasn't super flavorful. I liked the sauces but it could've used a green sauce, but apparently they don't have that. The bowl was just super creamy and it needed something acidic.

Overall, pretty good place. They give you alot of meat which is a plus. The reason why I am giving this three stars is because I thought it was TOO flavorful. Normally, flavor is good but I think there was a lack of balance. The marinated meat dominated the dish and I wish it was toned down a bit. I also felt like the white sauce didn't have that much flavor to it and didn't really add to the dish. Also, I ordered the fruity pebbles crepe and it was dry. It was literally just cereal in a crepe and banana. Wish it came with some sauce. Skip the fruity pebbles crepes.

This spot caught me off guard. It's not a new concept, & I've had this kind of Mediterranean food all my life!! This spot HIT different!! Let's GO!! . Where I am: @bitezdmv . Location Reviewed: 7258 Columbia Pike, Annandale V.A. . Items Reviewed: *All Halal Proteins* STAMP!! Their Falafel Salad ($11 with falafels, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, & tahini sauce). Fresh falafel, & creamy tahini sauce!! The salad was a salad. STAMP!! Their Combo Platter ($13 with chicken, gyro/lamb meat, all the salad fixings, tahini, & rice). The chicken was red, but not spicy, the gyro meat was super tender, & blended well with the sauce!! STAMP!! Their Gyro Pita ($10 with the same fixings that were in the platter, with just lamb, & chipotle aioli). The platter, in a pita...tasty!! STAMP!! Their Chicken Burrito ($11 all the fixings in the gyro, & platter with just chicken as a protein). Again...this burrito hit!! The chicken is not spicy!! LIKE THAT Their Cookies & Cream Crepe ($12 a folded sweet pancake pastry with strawberries, bananas, Nutella, & powdered sugar). Definitely sweet, soft, warm, with the crunch of Oreo folded in the inside!! . Parking: ROUGH!! . The Inside: Quaint, & clean. . Recommendations: Everything is the same thing in different forms. Food is not bad, tasty, some of the crew don't speak English well, so sometimes it's hard to understand them or them understanding us!

Let me start by saying the food here is tasteless and disgusting. Not only that but even their staff are some disgusting human beings that I have ever seen. On January 9th my sister and I came here for crepes and there was a Indian guy at the register typing our order and was smirking, upon looking at our receipt (attached in this review) he called my sister a b****. Is this the type of employees yall wanna hire? Is this the treatment yall love to give to your customers? Absolutely disgraceful. There are many platter places in the DMV and are 10x better with quality of food and they definitely do not call their customers any sort of names as this person did.

The food here definitely hits the spot. One of the best kabob spots and even better, the food is reasonably priced. Feel like it normally costs an arm and a leg for kabob, but not here. Everything is so delicious here, the portions are great, especially the portion size for meat. The only thing I wish is the salads had more salad, but other than that, delicious!

Annandale has been surprising me every time by how many new places are opening around here. I went here on a whim after an event around 3 AM. Your options are really limited unless you want to make a trek to the nearest breakfast joint or go down the street to a open Korean restaurant but sometimes you just want to grab something quick and go. Bitez has been teasing me all over Instagram with how pleasing their rice platters and crepes are. For 12 bucks, I don't think I could really complain. You get a hefty amount of food packed, especially if you get the combo platter consisting of Chicken, Gyro Meat, Rice, Cucumbers and Salad.. you really can't go wrong. Topped with either white, red spicy or Bitez's own sauce you can pick to however you like. This place can get packed if you go here early evening, but when I was there it wasn't too bad. Not really a line at all ( yeah it's 3 AM ) and honestly even if there was a line, it would have went quick. Do I think this is better than other Halal places that serve the same rice platter? I don't think so. But if there is one advantage that this place has over the rest, it's closer to me and I'd probably gravitate going here more as a result. I don't really recommend dining in as it's small and there are not many tables to sit down at. Although there are seats outside, depending on the weather people are just going to either sit inside or take it home to go. Cheap food, great prices, friendly staff, can't recommend enough!

It was my first time at cafehive and I was impressed by the large selection of drinks and desserts on the menu. As for drinks- Tiramisu latte is the most popular and banana bread latte is one of the new ones and was recommended to me to try by the cashier. If you are deciding between the two, the tiramisu has the stronger coffee taste whereas the banana bread is sweet with a slight banana flavor. The only thing I will say is while the menu is beautiful the drinks don't really come out looking like how I expected based on what I have seen on Instagram with all the foam and toppings.. maybe an off day but the tiramisu latte I thought had mascarpone cold foam for example.

This was my first experience at a Yemeni restaurant, and it turned out to be an incredibly pleasant and flavorful introduction. We were served half a lamb, head included, laid beautifully on a large platter of rice. But first, the restaurant itself. It was refreshing to see a place that uses real cutlery, proper plates, and actual tablecloths. I much prefer tables and chairs over booths, which often give off a fast-food chain vibe. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, though there was some drilling and repair work going on--likely related to safety or exit signage--so that's understandable. Now to the food. The rice was fluffy and deeply infused with flavor from the lamb, clearly absorbing the richness of the long, slow cooking process. The broth had rippled into the rice, creating an incredible depth of taste. If you've had biryani, this was somewhat similar, but with its own distinct character. The lamb itself was exceptionally tender--falling off the bone and melting in the mouth. For anyone who usually avoids lamb due to its strong aroma, this dish is a must-try; there was no overpowering "lamb smell" at all. The meal was accompanied by a fresh salad and two side sauces--one tomato-based and another green sauce that was extremely spicy, so proceed with caution. The mint lemonade deserves a special mention: easily the best I've had. Not overly sweet, clearly made from fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced. We ended the meal with tea and a warm dessert that was buttery, comforting, and topped with cream--an excellent finale. This was a completely new culinary experience for me, and I left the restaurant feeling like my palate had leveled up. Highly recommended--definitely a place worth checking out
