I was a huge fan of chori- mixto but now the quality of the chorizo unfortunately is not very good. It tastes more liquidy and not very tasty. It was close to Green Spring Gardens, a place we were visiting nearby. I noticed immediately that you made orders on a touch screen kiosk and typed in the number on a restaurant pager buzzer to alert you when your food was ready. We signed up for points on our order with Taco Rock by giving my email address and earned a $2 off reward on our first order to use that day. We ordered takeout - 6 lengua tacos. I sat at the bar and was served an iced water without realizing it. The bartender asked what I was ordering, so I decided to sample the happy hour classic margarita for $6. It was fancy for a $6 Margarita with a toasted lime on it. Delicious. I was impressed at how courteous and efficient the bartender was at her job. I needed the iced water without realizing it being dehydrated from my outdoor walk. The takeout order was ready to go in ten minutes or less. There was a prep area for taco sauces. I got a few to go sauces. The tacos were spicy and had some thinly cut peppers in them. It was too spicy in one bite I had of a taco. Yet they were the best lengua tacos I had in this area. Definitely would come back here again and try more items on their men

Dropped in a few weeks ago for the first time and sat at the outdoor bar. There was some huge soccer game so they were busy, but didn't forget about us. I ordered from the server computer thing and went across the board with the gringo, fried grouper and pollo tacos. Plain Jane enough but I'm a plain Jane kind of white guy. Idk if it was the captain and cokes but my wife and I went back for 3rds, and she went in for the ceviche. I'm telling you that alone rivaled anything I've had overseas, and after 6 years in LA trolling just about every taco joint there, Taco Rock could hold their own against anything in Cali. We actually ordered a huge catering package when we had some friends over this weekend and they didn't disappoint. They forgot a few things (there was a ton of it) but sent a guy straight away to drop it off. One of the better places I've been to in years.

We always order way too many tacos but never regret it because then we have a meal for later we cannot wait to eat again. The coco loco shrimp taco was to die for I wish we had gotten more of them. I might've actually been able to just eat those tacos. I always go and grab a few different specialty tacos that sound good and then split them with my hubby. The pastor (pork and pineapple) taco is a safe bet that I always have to order. The taco with the Chicharrones I've never seen was rly unique and the right amount of crunch and flavor. I really have to shout out the garlic wings!! I don't know if they have these at every location, but you absolutely must get them if you're at the Springfield location. The sauce in the mix of herbs together is amazing !! Oh and don't forget the sauce flight!! bonus points if you ask for the pineapple habanero sauce that they keep behind the cash register!!

The kids ground beef tacos were too spicy for my kids. At first bite it isn't bad but as you chew the spices intensify. We ordered corn dog for my toddler and the meal was cold. The ambience is awesome here. Great decor, no dinner rush, music was perfect. I was hoping we were going to discover a new local favorite. I was really looking forward to those margaritas; coco and sangarita. Wasn't meant to be today I guess. Disappointed Dad. It's ground‑level from the parking lot, so no climbing Mount Everest just to get a taco. The parking lot is small, but they do have handicap spots, so points for accessibility. There are large menu screens everywhere, and if you've aged like a fine bottle of wine (or just drink a lot of it), you'll appreciate how big and easy to read they are. They also have a couple of handheld menus at the counter. Seating is minimal with metal tables and chairs, so if you're a diva, bring your donut cushion. I ordered the Carnitas and pork belly, both sold as sides. The pork belly sits under a warmer at the counter, daring you to stay committed to that Weight Watchers plan. It's sold by the pound, and my piece came to $4.80. I almost put it back, but I'm pretty sure there's an unwritten rule about not returning food you've already mentally claimed. Even the cashier said, "Oof, that's pricey," but listen I liked it, and I'd pay it again. The half‑pound Carnitas for $7.99 were delicious and worth every penny. My foodie partner ordered the fried chicken plate. Medium comes with fries; large comes with rice and salad. I tasted her large plate the seasoning was on point, the chicken leaned toward being a little dry, but not enough to stop me from wanting to shake those tail feathers. I walked into this deli/convenience store/restaurant midday on a Friday. It's brightly lit and there is Latin music coming through the speakers at a reasonable volume. You order at the counter and bring your food back to one of their 15 or so tables. There's monitors with pics of the menu items for the Latin dishes-- helpful. I ordered the fried chicken plate (beans and rice and salad with three pieces of raw chicken). That chicken was so tasty! There were no beans, but there was a gravy that they served with it that made me not need the beans. The portion sizes are pretty big- more than I can eat at a setting. My sister got the Carnitas plate. She said they were tender and good. The media Libra doesn't come with sides. There's pay-by-the-piece pork belly warming in a container when you go to the counter-- she said her piece was good. There is some parking , but there's not much of it due to the size of the strip mall where it's located.

They do offer a pretty good fish taco, and the best part there's no sweet mango sauce or any type of sweet salsa that comes with fish tacos. There bowls and nachos come in a giant bowl, and the ingredients are pretty fresh, you really can't go wrong with either option. Their spicy salsas are actually spicy, which is a pleasant relief.

We were quickly seated in a booth and our orders taken. Our food came out fairly quickly. We first received the chicken tacquitos. They were just ghastly awful-tasting. Something was terribly wrong with the meat. The cheese dipping sauce was good, but it didn't compensate for those terrible tacquitos. The Steak Asado was an odd dish. The steak didn't have any flavor, totally underseasoned. It was served on a bed of a curious rice. It was like a white rice that had tomato sauce poured on it. But perhaps that is the difference between New Mexican rice and Mexican rice. I dunno, but this was not Mexican rice. The cheese enchilada that came with the dish was okay though it was swimming in an overabundance of chili sauce. The Pollo Adovado was canned chicken dipped in a chile sauce that didn't have a lot of flavor. The Pollo Adovado also came with the "New Mexican" rice. I could have gone with three stars for this review, even with those poor tacquitos, but I didn't like it when the server came over and asked us if are meals were okay and he turned away with a dismissive flip of his hand without giving us a chance to respond.
