One of our favorite lunch spots near Fort Belvoir! We dine here often and it never disappoint, even the kids love it! The seating area is small and can be crowded during the lunch rush but they do have a very active carry out business as well. The food is always fresh and comes out quickly. Some favorites are the ocean fries, pad Thai, garlic obsession, basil fried rice, and spicy beef salad. We honestly have not had a bad dish here and the staff are very friendly and welcoming!

Updated Review July 21, 2025 We got takeout today from Le Thai. Food was amazing. There was no lines and no traffic when arriving there to pick up our order. This is our favorite place for food & has a special place in our hearts & stomachs. ------------------------ Five Stars - A Hidden very low key food gem to experience. I heard about Le Thai from a picky & very experienced foodie, cook, & beauty & spa owner in 2023 & their unique orange chicken. She said it was different from most orange chicken & her little boy loved it a lot. I finally came here, and the food was beyond my expectations. We experienced no traffic and it was easy locating the place. We went for a late brunch around 3 PM-ish. First impressions, it seemed like a very small and low key restaurant. We ended up being the only ones in the tiny restaurant - an immense delight. The other party there left after we were served our food. The ambiance was simple, quiet, and seemed like it had the decor you would see in Asian home. The menu was exciting with so many options and the lunch menu special was ideal in options and low affordable prices. I decided to get the orange chicken as a takeout and select the lunch special of green curry with chicken (an old favorite of mine) with spring rolls. My husband decided to get the shrimp fried rice. For a fun and new experience with something I never tried before. I selected the Thai Coffee (recommended by my server). My husband got the Thai Tea. Our server was Pearl. She was professional, excellent in providing recommendations, and very amicable. I liked her immediately and rarely like servers that swiftly. She expedited food and services swiftly and efficiently. She was very intuitive and required little & no prompting as a server. The Thai coffee she recommended was the best coffee I ever tasted. She mentioned how wonderful the tilapia entree was and that is in my future meal order at this place. We loved how delicious and fresh our food was. The green curry was good. My husband ate all of his shrimp fried rice quickly despite not feeling hungry. The portions were large for such low prices. I ate only half of my green curry and half of one spring roll. Saved the rest for dinner and had it packaged to go with my orange chicken take out. We plan to make this a future date place and a place to order food from in the near future. The best way to order food is through them directly and not through other services like Grub hub. Pearl gave us the Le Thai card with scan code to get access to the menu & to order from them.

Above and beyond at this tiny eatery: I described a dish i had once eaten and they tried to recreate it for me. They may be small (5 tables) but the food quality is high--and the takeout/delivery drivers constantly coming in are proof of that. I enjoyed fried tofu before my custom curry dish. So good!

I love the food. It is always hot and fresh. The dining area is small with only 5 tables, but quaint. Service was good. Staff checked on us without hovering, very laid back. I will return to try more dishes.

I had the pad thai and spring rolls. The pad thai was different than other Thai places I've been too. It had the thin noodles but I niece they add thicker noodles as well (which I wasn't upset about because it made the dish more filling and is a HUGE bang for your buck). The spring rolls were good. Overall, definitely adding them to my list of restaurants

Le Thai Cuisine is usually okay for me, but the soft shell crab meal was meh. Didn't like the taste of the crab. I'll stick to my go-to basil fried rice next time.

This local family owned restaurant has been a favorite for a while. They have a variety of tasty dishes and it's impossible to choose a favorite amongst them all. Service is great for sit in and take out. Everyone is always kind regardless of how busy they are! I had the pleasure of working with Pearl today and she was incredibly sweet and attentive. The ambience is casual and the music keeps the atmosphere light and relaxing. This has been a local favorite for a couple of years and will certainly be a place of return.

This is a cute, cozy Thai restaurant! My husband and I ate here for lunch and the food is amazing! Highly recommend this restaurant if you are craving Thai food!

    Mango Sticky Rice

My brother and I drove by and saw a strip mall align with multiple eateries in which we had to choose on this rainy day. This restaurant is small, cozy and manageable. They have some decor and you're greeted immediately with a smile. You can feel the warmth and easygoing melodies while you eat. We ordered four items: 1) Massaman curry 2) Drunken noodle 3) Mango sticky rice 4) Coconut tres leches. The massaman curry was good but a tad sweet for our taste. The sweetness of the broth overpowered the spicy flavor that we were use to. The drunken noodles with beef were on point. It had the right amount of heat that will make your forehead sweat ..lol. It was very aromatic and so far the best I've tasted. For the mango sticky rice was a plus especially with pandan infused in the coconut sticky rice but unfortunately we can't predict how sweet the mango will be. It was tasty though. The highlight of our trip was the coconut tres leches. We were both surprised of how moist, divine and absolutely delicious it was! If I could, I would order this cake for my next birthday. I will definitely make a return visit to try other items on their menu.

Not what I expected but it will suit specific people looking for their offerings. Burton's Grill is your typical all American restaurant but focuses on serving all the dietary needs of Americans with allergies or not. The place looks new, the kind of place you wanna wear clean clothes at a minimum and not look slovenly. Outside sitting, full large bar, sports on several TVs above the center of the bar, and a lot of servers milling around here. Great lighting, not loud but not quiet either, just chill. We were starved so our eyes ate. Brunch was still being served till 3pm on Saturdays and Sundays so I grabbed the French Toast and the Steak and Eggs. My friend had allergies with gluten so she went with a salmon and some super salad dish. She was happy as all the dishes had markers for gluten free, food free, soul free, etc. Very helpful for all allergy infused humans. Great waitress btw. Fantastic service. Food came after some time, we requested for everything to come out on time. Steak and egg was okay but I'd go with the prime rib next time. The steak came out sliced with 2 poached eggs on top. The hash on the side was on point. Salmon okay too. Salad was okay but we should have added a protein on top. A little dry on dressing maybe but we could have requested more so that's on us. On the other hand, the French toast had me scratching my head. It was cubed challah bread but eggs was 0, zero, nada eggs on it. I thought I was eating croutons which would have gone great with the super salad dish thinking about it now. The French toast really bunched up my undies, French toast is my favorite breakfast thing you see. They explained it was prepped that way for allergy sake due to the egg. Well, I'm not allergic and never said I was, but my friend was but she wasn't eating my dish so why make it in this fashion. Overall, this experience was just okay. Nice environment and service but I realized how lucky I am not to be allergic cause if I have to eat French toast like this forever, I'm not sure what to do. Definitely not up to eating croutons with syrup.

Dear reader,…read more Firebirds was a thoroughly lovely experience and exactly the sort of place one hopes for when the evening calls for a proper cocktail and a comfortable perch at the bar. We sat there for the evening and had such a fun time, due in no small part to the bartender, who was super nice, genuinely funny, and clearly knew their way around a cocktail. A charming and commendable combination. The atmosphere strikes a very pleasing balance. It feels warm and inviting with a slightly upscale air, but never in a way that feels stuffy or overly serious. Everything felt polished, the service was great, and the whole place had that easy, settled-in quality that makes you want to stay for another round rather than rush off to the next engagement. I also especially liked the Seared Ahi Tuna, which was absolutely worth ordering and deserves its moment of recognition. Overall, Firebirds delivered a very enjoyable evening with good drinks, great service, and an atmosphere that made lingering feel like the correct decision. We will absolutely be back soon, and happily so.

Since I went on a Saturday I felt compelled to do the cheese wheel experience. Where they cook fettuccine pasta inside a giant wheel of cheese. Added a protein option as well for a lil more substance as well. The dish as incredible! The cheese sauce was so rich and creamy and I def need to come back and try it with the chicken. My server told me I should ask for the chicken blackened (the chicken is $9 but if you get it blackened it's $2 extra). The price for the pasta on its own before adding a protein was competitive when you compare the portion size. Be warned that the cheese wheel experience is only available Thurs-Saturday but it's so fun! It's akin to going to a Mexican restaurant that offers tableside guac or going to a hibachi restaurant! Eggs & Sushi is one of those hideouts and if you're not careful, might end up eating 7k calories before you leave. You'll only know this place exists if you live or work in the Lorton area where Eggs & Sushi stands firm. If not for Google Maps, you may drive on by without a thought. I stopped because their simple sign but just some quirky in a strange way caught my eye and it's in the middle of a warehouse street where you would not expect food places to be. Surprisingly, there are always little cafes in these kind of places that feed the immediate workers there. They are sometimes the hidden gems nobody will hear about unless you work in that area. This is one of them. Walking in, it feels like a small diner, yellow walls, lots of menu above the grill area displayed on multiple screens, properly lit dining area. They take orders at the end and at a kiosk as well. Window seats, couple of tables, and some bar seats also. Seems simple enough but this place is the ultimate trap for the hungry. Be careful! When you look up, you realize they have a vast menu and varied in the most fantastic way. You have your generic American style food, eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, sandwiches, coffee, smoothie, an all day breakfast menu. Then you keep walking around to look at the menu, you see sushi, rolls, poke bowls, ramen, some dons, etc. You might think, hmm, they might be overloaded on the menu. Wrong! They make fantastic sandwiches! Smaller not overpriced ramen but with lots of oomph flavor! These guys bring the umami and drip it like masters. The dons hit, the ramen hits, the sandwiches hit, and my all time favorite breakfast item, the elegantly simple French toast hits. They are serving hits here and only a few know about it. Service was adequate from their high school kid waiters. The owners at the grill are very friendly if you get a chance to interact with them. Just a very chill ambience.
