Visited this First Watch location for the first time for breakfast. I ordered the Farmhouse Hash and a side of bacon, plus coffee and water. I requested real Half n' Half for the coffee - which they will provide if requested. Otherwise - you'll be using the chemical creamers that sit on the table. Food was delicious. The hash includes roasted peppers, onions, potatoes, avocado, bacon, two cheeses - and two eggs - which I had over easy. Also comes with toast and strawberry jam. When I first went on the app to make our reservation of four it would not work from the website. I called the restaurant and the person who answered the phone was not helpful at all what so ever. She said it had been working for others we should just come in or keep trying. We arrived to the restaurant received a text our table was ready. We walked to the hostess station and were told, sorry, she is looking for a table for you. Then why the text? We ordered our food, the salmon Benedict's were below par in my opinion. There was not much salmon on there at all. One egg was hard boiled the other was soft boiled. They had no taste. It said it came with a side of greens instead I received a bunch of over salted cubed potatoes. They were cooked the way I like them crispy and golden brown. The coffee tasted burnt. The side biscuits we ordered were really good. Flaky on the outside and warm and fluffy inside. Two people in my party ordered a bowl, right now I just remember it had beans, red sauce and tortillas. The comments were, soggy tortillas and no taste. The other person ordered the biscuits and gravy. She said the texture of the gravy was like jello. Our waitress Helen did not check on us, had she checked on us she would have noticed we did not get our order of French toast we had also asked for. When she finally did bring the bill that's when we asked for more water, for her to remove the French toast and for a to go box. The restaurant is really packed in tight. The front waiting area to all the back to the seating. You're sitting on top of each other and it's very loud. They do have a QR code you can use to look at the menu items and pay your bill. I scanned the QR code to pay the bill and it was already figured in at 20% tip. 18, 20 and 30. The parking lot is hard to get around with all the cars and people. The biscuits were not great and missing those flaky biscuit layers that a good biscuit should have. This is one of my favorite breakfast and lunch spots in the U.S.A. I am sure a lot of people in NOVA have the same sentiment because the place is usually packed. I can't resist anything on the menu because everything is healthy and delicious, and all portions are huge. One morning, I ordered an avocado toast (without eggs) and a Morning Meditation Fresh Juice (with extra ginger). One afternoon, I ordered a Market Veggie Sandwich and a Cobb Salad. I devoured everything. McKenna was my waitress both times, and she did a fantastic job. She gave me some samples of all of the juices so I could see which ones I liked best. The Morning Meditation is my favorite because it has ginger. The place is also clean and inviting. Fortunately, I do not have to go back to NOVA to eat at a First Watch. Firstwatch.com reveals that they have no locations in the State of New York, but they have many in NJ. It is worth the drive across the Hudson River for me to dine one weekend at one of the NJ locations, and I will do so soon. read more

I was in the area so made a revisit and I have to say I always enjoy the energy and atmosphere of this place because it's always welcoming. There were 3 items ordered: 1) Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast 2) Lemon Ricotta Pancake 3) Carne Asada Breakfast Tacos. I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes again because they were good that last time and this was. The pancakes were fluffy but there wasn't enough lemon custard on top of the pancakes unless you spread it very thinly. I was excited about the strawberry tres leches french toast, the appearance looks beautiful and sexy but unfortunately it fell à little flat for me. Unlike the actual tres leches flavors, the strawberry did bring a refreshing element but was missing that caramel and sweetness. It just tastes like two pieces of french toasts, topped with strawberries and a big raindrop of whipped cream. The carne asada tacos arrive to the table with 3 and served with baked beans, fluffy rice and a side of diced tomato, guacamole, lettuce. The wheat corn tortillas were too soft to pick up from the stainless steel taco holder which crumbled apart and had to be eaten with a fork. There were so many components that made it incredibly delicious and flavorful. I would order it again but use à bowl next time. I had excellent service by server Alexandra, she was friendly, attentive, genuine and knowledgeable. I hope she enjoy her birthday. They have a parking lot so parking didn't seem to be an issue. I know First Watch is notorious for being busy and popular. There isn't a reservation option and we came around 1:30 on a Saturday and only had about a 15 minute wait. We ordered the Blackberry Bramble Sangria pitcher to share. It was pretty good but a lot of ice. Got about 2 or so glasses each from it. We both ordered the Carne Asada Hash and I also ordered the Million Dollar Potatoes. First watch is my go to for breakfast/brunch food. This is my first time visiting this location. I was home for thanksgiving and for Black Friday before we started shopping in the morning, we decided to go and have breakfast. The place was so crowded, we had to wait about 50mins to an hour to be seated. So many people were waiting as well. They took our number and we went to Best Buy right next to the restaurant to do some window shopping. They told us 30 mins, they will message us. We returned 45 mins later and asked when we will be seated. We waited about 10 more mins and got a seat. I waited because I really wanted my mom to try first watch food since it is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch place. Am glad we waited because she loved the food. We got the traditional and tri-fecta, grits and for drinks we did morning meditation and the pomegranate juice. We loved the fresh juice. It was a busy day there, we got our check quick because people were waiting for seats and I understand. Overall good experience, the place was clean, I like how it looked inside. I love this place! I've been multiple times and each time was fantastic. The servers are attentive, professional, and very friendly. As far as the menu goes, I've tried multiple drinks off of their brunch menu. My favorite is their Cinnamon Toast Cereal Milk--completely delicious and what a creative idea! Of their food, I love their Elote Breakfast Burrito from their summer menu. It's packed with so many different taste sensations, and is very filling. We joined the waitlist and were quoted a 30-40 minute wait, but our table was ready after about 20 minutes. The only downside was that they only give you two minutes to claim your table. I got a notification that our reservation had been canceled because we were five minutes away, but they were able to seat us quickly after that. They served the tasty Monterey Club on fair tasting whole grain g-f toast. It was PACKED with turkey, bacon and avocado along with the cheese and veggies. I admit I was hungry and had to force myself to slow down. That last spoonful of soup was the icing on my 'cake.' The check came-no extra charge for g-f bread. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the breakfast I received on May 15, 2026. Although the meals were served quickly and the service itself was acceptable, the food quality was not. The potatoes, eggs, and sausage were all cold, and the toast was underdone. In addition, the loud music made the dining experience uncomfortable. Even after pointing this out to the hostess, the volume remained unchanged. Unfortunately, the meal also upset my digestive system afterward, which added to my disappointment. For starters, the restaurant smelled so good when we walked in the door! We ordered coffee and water and that was delivered quickly. We placed our food order and we didn't have to wait long before it was brought to the table. My only complaint is that the food was already getting cold. I'm not sure what their server system is, but when you're serving eggs it has to be brought to the table immediately regardless if it's your original server or not. While I did enjoy my meal, I did not find it good enough for a very long wait. I had the eggs Benedict with salmon and the million dollar bacon. Both very good. I have been to this First Watch many times and it was always a great experience and as always great food. Until the last time we went when our table received a plate that had a stink bug or bug if some sort. We didn't even realize until it was too late and it was the most horrific bite was taken and the bug was chewed on. It was immediately spat out and that when we discovered it was bug in the food. It was bad enough to have all the food come back up just plain disgusting. The waitress and manager were notified. When asked how could something like that happen the manager stated they "use what is given to them from the produce company they get there items from". Any time I use veggies to cook I was even if bagged or already "cleaned" for this exact reason. It was just plain disappointing to have such a good establishment with a reputation of fresh food have this happen. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Good luck. read more

The first time I visited this location the food was decent and the wait wasn't terrible. This is my second time and I just ordered from Uber Eats as my wife is now disabled and while the taste is still 3/5 we got a side of fruit with our meal containing a singular grape and one slice of pineapple.
