Amazing hosts and managers! they helped me with the menu and food was so delicious! Great service:)

Amazing food and customer service, definitely my go to stop each time im in the area.

6/6/26 Our server Mr. DJ is full of energy and great vibes. This was put to the test later on while we were eating, but we'll get into that later. The Woodbridge Silver Dinner is a very busy place today. The ambience and moods seem to be running on happy high octane. The sounds of meals being prepared along with the smells are mouth watering. Evidently, I must be hungry. Upon being shown to our table by a young lady with short hair, we learned from the lady which specials are available for brunch. The lady reminded me of Rhea Ripley. Someone I vaguely remember seeing before I stopped watching WWE. Now she is very popular and I see how she looks now. The lady who seated us remind me of a young Rhea Ripley, but with the short black hair and a bit of the gothic vibe. All of these passed through my head as our host was talking to us. I think this host lady will be making it big very soon. Our server's name is David, but he likes to go by the name DJ. DJ took our orders and the were brought to us pretty quickly. I appreciate DJ informing us that the Rootbeer I would have ordered was flat. The soda machine appeared to be out of the C02...or something else all together. I ended up sticking with good old H20. I ordered the Belgian Waffle&Eggs. Since I do not eat eggs, I substituted the eggs for the new menu item called Home Fries with Caramelized Onions. My wife ordered the French Toast and Eggs with an order of Home Fries with Caramelized Onions, as well. The food was delicious as it almost always is. We saw and heard DJ talking to other guests in his high friendly energy he puts out. Unfortunately, one customer didn't seem to be enjoying himself and got loud and rude with DJ and a customer. Things could have ugly, but they didn't. Cooler heads prevailed dispite Rude Boy taking his anger out on other customers. Whether or not his wife, girlfriend or sister was embarrassed by his rude boy manners, Rihanna's message of the Rude Boy song needs to be upgraded...without the sexual innuendos to her. The other option, "Everything He Owns In A Box To The Left." I am digressing. Back to the subject at hand. DJ is a grown man and handled Rude Boy's remarks and fixed the issue. DJ apologize to his guests for the Rude Boys outbursts. Just another day at Silver Dinner if you don't let rude remarks hit you/bother you like a bat out of hell. The staff members seem pretty down to earth and they all worked together to get food out to the guests. Yes, mistakes can happen, but it's how the problem(s) are handled. We will definitely be back. read more

Yesterday, my husband and I decided to go to Silver Diner. My children absolutely love the restaurant, and the service is always great. Even though it was pretty busy, we were seated immediately, and I was especially grateful to be seated in a quieter corner where the tables were more to the side instead of directly behind us. It was a stressful moment because my autistic son was having a really hard time and was clearly overwhelmed. Our server was wonderful, but the manager, Joy, was truly an angel sent at the perfect time. Not only did she remember our family from a previous visit, but after we explained that our son is autistic and was struggling in the moment, she immediately went to the back and returned with markers, paper, gemstone stickers, a timer, and more -- almost like she was fully prepared for children with sensory needs. I honestly can't express how much that meant to us. Her timing couldn't have been better, and we will forever be grateful for her kindness and compassion. On top of that, when my food came out, my steak wasn't cooked the way I requested. I honestly wasn't even planning to say anything, but Joy noticed I wasn't eating it and asked how I had ordered it cooked. When I explained, she kindly offered to remove it from the check. Managers like Joy are rare and so deeply appreciated. The food was great, but truthfully, Joy is what made this experience unforgettable. You can tell she's not only an amazing manager, but also a genuinely good person with a caring heart. Thank you, Joy, for making such a lasting impression on our family. Silver Diner is lucky to have you! read more

My experience was so amazing! Haven't been here in years and they have upgraded so much and the customer service experience was Ahhhmazin! Food was Ahhmazing and fresh and I really enjoyed it and ended going back 2 days later at night food was fresh eggs just thrown together with ripped cheese Waiter was nice and friendly manager was helpful! Sossa Sossy was my waitress and she is such a darling! And really interacted with me and asked if I have been before she went over and beyond to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed! Because of her customer service and fresh food I'll always remember and keep coming back! The manager Joy she was on Deck! Making sure checking in with people's satisfaction and we really just felt seen and appreciated for coming in. Now there prices have changed to, I'm telling you just them two alone will make you forget about the prices frfr! Please give Sossa a bonus she deserves it ! She is sweet and kind and deserves the best, and has made me a repeat customer. I'm going back today lol - Get the steak and eggs the chimmi churri is YUMMY ! It's just a different vibe and a different freshness! And them Pancakes are just how I LOVEEE them which is hard to find in other places light crisp on outside soft and fluffy on inside !!! And 1 thing I did not like was that now they have pancakes on the side they DO NOT come with the meals like they use to, 1 pancake is 2.49$ 2pancakes 7.49$ and 3 pancakes 10.99$ is what I was told on my second visit which didn't make since but just check because most the meals come with just a biscuit and fruit now read more

You have to love this place... their seasonal menu is fantastic! We tried their macadamia and pineapple pancakes and they were delicious. Recommend you ask for the toppings and sauces on the side. Without any syrup or toppings these pancakes are fantastic. You can taste the bits of pineapples and nuts. read more

Silver Diner has always been a solid go to for our family. We've been to multiple locations through out the DMV. But I'll just make this short review about a take out order I had last Wednesday. I had a taste for some kind of fruit pie or cobbler and it was too late to make something that time of night. So I came on old faithful yelp and looked for some options. Silver Diner was the first option. It ended up being a great choice. Service was quick and the pie was perfect . Ive also visited on a Saturday morning for breakfast with my toddler and had a great experience then as well. I'm happy to know that I'm right around the corner from such a reliable , high quality option that is open late as well. read more

Will not be going back after our visit last night. I used to love Silver Diner, but no longer. The waiter was not very helpful- I asked how to join the kids club and he simply told me to download the app. I never had my water refilled. And he overcharged us for a kid's side of fruit ($5 instead of $1.29!). But the main issue was my food. I ordered the seasonal warm salad- a favorite and "go to" meal I always order. The salad I was served was tasteless- just tasted like wet/recently washed lettuce. The greens were wilted. And the salad is supposed to come with pecans. Maybe the tiny pieces of pecan I did see could have made up one whole pecan. Maybe. And lastly, their prices are too high! I couldn't believe how much we spent on two entrees, two kids meals, and just water for me to go home hungry. read more

Silver Dimer is my all time favorite. where can you go and get organic food for a reasonable price. SILVER DINER. The service is amazing everyone is special Kevin's my guy . Fabricio makes things happen when Kevin's not around . The mangers are all so sweet I come here all the time and this place has no idea, how much they make my day from the time I walk in on Sunday after church. I feel like I am home. What a phenomenal staff Woodbridge Va has. Bison Huevos Rancheros is my favorite breakfast and the quinoa coconut pancakes are delicious. The smile the love makes me feel so happy. I was in a hurry today and solo so Sat at the bar today to get in and out quickly! Was greeted fast and food was out in like 5-10 min! Sitting at the bar is interesting you become almost part of the diner inherent chaos (the charm of a diner) . The teamwork if getting food out fast was fun to watch real time. Servers helping each other to ensure everyone got hot food as soon as ready was nice to see. Start to finish was out if there in under 25! Had to post again cause the bar experience was new to me. read more

The "silver" diner was very shiny outside and inside. I really enjoyed that part of the experience. It was so clean. There's a small jukebox box machine at the table. That was a serious blast from the past. We got in 45 minutes before close and were served quickly. My medium well steak was still a little pink inside. However, it wasn't bleeding and was so tender. I can't complain. While the Brussels sprouts look unimpressive they tasted great! I didn't care for the crunchy onions or the garlic spinach really. Something of note was that, when I asked for substitutions, there was no hesitation. I've experienced at other restaurants this can really be an issue. There were lots of good menu choices. I will visit again. I held back a star because, while we got in under the wire, other customer was turned away at 20 minutes before close by one individual then someone else came much closer to close and a different employee welcomed them in. If we're turning people away. We need to be on one accord. read more

Love the ambiance of this place. I've always like the feel of diners from the past and this place fully embodies it. The waitress that we had was attentive and quick with our service. We ordered the country fried steak and eggs, grilled cheese with ham, and a kids chicken tenders. All the food was delicious generously portioned and temperature was right out of the kitchen. I 100% recommend this place! read more

I've been a few times, the food never tastes the same. My last visit I really enjoyed my food and the customer service was amazing. This time I wasn't given butter or syrup with my meal. I also asked for hot sauce and didn't get it. I had to wait several minutes before getting someone's attention who did give me the items needed right away and asked if we needed anything else. I was really looking forward to my meal after it tasting so good the last time just to be disappointed with the taste and customer service from our server. read more

We got take out so I won't be able to speak on service or ambiance, but the food I can! We got the Philly steak omelette and the Kickin short rib burger. I asked for a lettuce wrap on that burger and they did it and it was FANTASTIC! Literally one of the best burgers I've ever had for takeout. The omelette was good but next to that burger it was hard for it to be great haha. The potatoes on the side of the omelette were a little lack luster as well, on the dry side and not very flavorful. Over all good meal though! read more

Wonderful food. The kids salmon, the tuna sandwich and the Reuben were all amazing. Great staff.

I'm disappointed ... that I don't find myself on this stretch of road, so I could eat here more!! When you're on the road 250+ days a year like I am, you have certain "go to" meals. For breakfast, mine is corned beef hash. And the corn beef hash here is absolutely the best anywhere I've ever had, tasty and flavorful and amazing. The biscuits are perfect. And the tropical mimosa was mind-boggling. It was so good. I love the place. I just wish I had more reason to be in this area of the state. read more

Came in for brunch , sat right away no wait. Has a was the server , brought drink and then came for order. Manager came by to take order due to menu at the table-kept in case I wanted dessert. Changed drink for unsweetened peach tea, but went back to original. Peach tea is way too sweet. Ordered Thai Cauliflower Quinoa pasta and added grilled chicken: tasty and quite filling. No dessert needed. Nice to see everyone helping clear tables, wiping off tables, etc and with a smile. Thanks for another great food experience. read more

I can honestly say this is the best burger I've ever had. The short rib burger was phenomenal--seasoned perfectly, incredibly juicy, and cooked to perfection. What really set it apart was the tender, delicious short rib nestled right in the middle. I had underestimated Silver Diner, thinking it was just another average breakfast spot, but this burger (and the fries!) completely changed my mind. I'm truly blown away by the quality and flavor of this dish. Our server Hassan was friendly, patient and gave great recommendations. I had a Thai dish ordered and when it arrived it was covered with oil. I then asked them what kind of cooking oil they used and the manager proudly said vegetable oil. i dont think they know that vegetable oil is a highly processed seed oil that causes health issues. Outstanding Vegan-Friendly Service and Delicious Breakfast! We had an amazing experience at Potomac Mills Silver Diner today, thanks to our server, Josette. She provided some of the best customer service we've had in a while! As vegans, we appreciated her knowledge and guidance in helping us make informed choices from the breakfast menu. I was torn between the Just Egg Breakfast Tacos and the It's Back! Just Eggs Benedict, and after some deliberation, Josette asked, "What would you like that's different between the two?" That simple yet thoughtful question helped me realize it was the tempeh bacon I was craving--so Just Eggs Benedict it was! The meal was absolutely delicious, and I'll definitely be back to try the tacos next time. Highly recommend this location for great food and exceptional service! read more

Our server was Doreen, and she was a doll! Just so sweet and attentive! We will always be happy to sit in her section any day. The parking lot was mostly full and DH had to drive around to find a parking space. This was an indication of what the inside might look like. So I went inside to get a table or join the waiting list while DH found a parking space. There were 2 people talking and I heard the guy tell the girl to ask how she could help me before he walked away, but she didn't acknowledge me. Instead she walked away, too. Another guy (he was super tall) came up to me and asked if I had been helped and I told him that I had not been. He grabbed 2 menus and I was seated immediately. Doreen greeted me and grabbed some waters. DH found our table and we looked over the menu. Doreen came and she checked on us several times while we decided what to order. When we finally ordered, DH and I sat and chatted. We noticed some of the AC vents were dripping on the tables as people were either eating or being sat to eat. Some customers were requesting to move to different tables and employees were wiping the condensation off the vents. The restaurant felt cool, but I overheard an employee say something about the weather being so hot and it being cooler inside, or something along those lines, and this was making the vents drip. I have no idea, but it was unfortunate for those tables. I did notice the music was definitely didn't match the jukebox music. The music playing was much more current. The music from the jukeboxes give the place a different feel. No big deal, the music was still good. Anyway, our food came out and it was delicious. The eggs were on point and the biscuit was the best part! Just - bit crunchy on the outside when you took a bite. There was a sweet taste to it, like honey. Maybe it was spread on top? But it was nicely done. The roasted home fries were pretty good, but they were a little cold. (They weren't terrible.) The bacon was somewhere between crispy and soggy. I prefer crispy and maybe I should have asked for that, but I didn't. I ate them anyway. Overall, the experience was pretty good. We would go back and hope to be seated in Doreen's section. She was just so pleasant! read more

I used to go to this Silver Diner alot when I was younger, and unfortunately we just drifted away. As more choices and variety opened up around the DMV, the classic diner options didn't appeal as much. Well let me tell you, this isn't Yesteryears Silver Diner !!! I am so glad we tried it out again! the care the company takes in sourcing local and sometimes even halal options is really awesome. From ribeye cheesesteaks with sweet chili sauce to the most amazing Tillamook Milkshakes..... This is way more than the old Patty Melt and Pancakes of old... Of course the Peach Pie for 2 Ala Mode and Coffee were just as delicious as I remembered.. and the wait staff worked hard to keep you happy, glad that didn't change.. Decor and Jukeboxes seem to be the same as 30 years ago.. but I guess that's just a theme some people expect.. I'm cool with that.. The flatiron steak with garlic potatoes, fried onions, and spinach was definitely one of the best meals I've had in a long time... and it didn't have to travel over 5,000 miles either... Definitely going to return, but this time it might be a few weeks, and not another 30 years like before. Love it. read more
