I received a warm welcome and was offered two options for my dining (bar or table). Hot tasty coffee was on the table promptly; it's neat you get a pitcher of it at your table! My waitress, Catalina, was knowledgeable about best choices for me as I have Celiac disease (no gluten). Before I could drink half a cup of coffee, my meal was delivered! They served the tasty Monterey Club on fair tasting whole grain g-f toast. It was PACKED with turkey, bacon and avocado along with the cheese and veggies. I admit I was hungry and had to force myself to slow down. That last spoonful of soup was the icing on my 'cake.' The check came-no extra charge for g-f bread. Now I can take it to the register when I'm ready. My first trip here was WAY back when they opened and it took a bit to get seated and so forth. I plan to get back sooner!

Cold eggs, and the chicken sausage is weird. Aldi has better chicken breakfast sausage. For the price point I expected better. Edit.: the Belgium waffle was excellent

Friendly hosts greeted us and find us a seat on a late Sunday afternoon. Nice day gave us the option of courtyard seating or indoor cottage seating. Pleasant service team, great food and a wonderful cottage atmosphere makes this place a great place to stop for brunch. Korean BBQ Short Rib sandwich is a newer menu item. Flavorful, lots of rib meat filling and bread grilled nice and crunchy. It's delicious. Berry Almond French Toast is very good. If you have a sweet tooth for brunch, then do not miss this dish. Steak & cheese melt is a staple on this menu. Filled with nicely seasoned steak, grilled onions and a blend of cheese makes this dish a hearty brunch meal. From the host to the service team, everyone is very efficient and friendly. Pro Tip: use the Yelp waitlist feature on busy days.

Very calm and chill place to hang out. I ordered a Toffee Nut Coffee and the Uncle Johnny Hot Savory Panini. The sandwich was good, it wasn't cut all the way through but good flavor. It had a lot of onions and peppers but not bad. I would like to come back and try their Crepes but would come back again.

I ordered a vegetarian crepe, and my friend got an Oreo crepe. Both were decent, but honestly pretty underwhelming. The flavors were fine, just not memorable, and definitely not something I'd go out of my way to get again. I also tried a vanilla chai latte, which was the same story--good, but nothing special. The biggest downside for me was the value. I ended up spending around $17, and it just didn't feel worth it. Between the portion size and the overall taste, it felt like something I could've easily made at home for a fraction of the price. Service was okay. The woman working there had a more straightforward, no-frills personality--not particularly warm or welcoming, but not rude either. Just very to-the-point. The space itself is also pretty small, with limited seating. It's probably best suited for quick stops or takeout rather than sitting and hanging out for a while. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience, but it didn't give me a strong reason to come back. If you're nearby and curious, it might be worth trying once--but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

There is plenty of parking available as it is located in a strip mall right next to the Lake Ridge Library. Even when they are busy, staff is always extremely nice and the food is served promptly. Their wine selection is great and I highly recommend you try out their cocktails, the bourbon glazed short rib as appetizer and the coconut poached halibut. Before you put in your order you are served a starter bread with honey flavored butter which is absolutely delicious and really sets the tone for a lovely dinner! Only a handful of tables in here and the noise from the main dining room carried over into this room but still a comfortable setting to be able to hear and talk. This was our first time here and had heard some great reviews. They were definitely busy and it did show a little within the service. Our server had come by, offered water and the cocktail menu (which we would have liked when we first sat down to look through). We were sat with their menu and the wine list. He explained the specials for the evening and we ordered our drinks (Smoked Bourbon & Fig Old Fashioned, Fig 95 & Pomegrante Bourbon Smash). Their cocktails are delicious. I don't usually enjoy Old Fashioneds but their version was very good and not overly powering. Definitely different than the normal cocktail. Our server mentioned a handful of times that bread was coming but we did notice that a table sat after us receive their bread about 5 minutes or so before ours. That being said, the bread and especially the two types of butter they brought were very good. They do offer additional bread and butter if you use it all. We ordered a few appetizers - the Charred Corn Croquettes, Grilled Octopus, and Beef Carpaccio. All the appetizers were delicious. The Croquettes were well made but nothing really out of the ordinary. Grilled Octopus had great flavor but this was a much smaller portion than anticipated. The Beef Carpaccio was delicious and we really enjoyed this. Our friends also enjoyed the Little Gems salad which they split for them. For our entrees, we ordered the Grilled Filet Mignon, Coconut Poached Halibut, and the Seared Culver Duck. The Coconut Poached Halibut was split for my friends and I was able to try some. The Halibut was cooked perfectly but with the crispy rice sitting in sauce, it was no longer crispy. It was more of a rice cake. The flavors were good though, the coconut wad not overpowering. Flavor of the duck was good but the carrots that came with it were undercooked and just a little tough to chew. The flavor was there but the texture could have been anlittle better. Filet Mignon was ordered medium rare and cooked beautifully as well. Asparagus and mashed potatoes were delicious. While the entrees were overall okay, we loved the appetizers and cocktails and would come back to try the rest of the menu. Food came out at a decent pace but service was a little inconsistent.

He gave us the history of the restaurant, it used to be at the watergate hotel and former president Reagan was a huge fan of the restaurant. Right after he got shot his wife had a surprise birthday party here. The original chef passed away and they lost their lease so this is the location now. Just some fyi for all you history buffs. The food was fantastic yet again. For the hors d'Œuvres we got the Merguez which was lamb sausage with ratatouille. It was very good. We also got a Brie and prosciutto platter with pickles and spiced pears in a red wine sauce. It was interesting for sure. The Brie was St Stephen's from Stephentown NY. I love Brie and this was a good one. Very interesting flavors. I got the seafood special this time. It was scallops, risotto, asparagus, and a shrimp crab cake. I wasn't a big fan of the shrimp crab cake it was dry but everything else paired well. My husband got the filet mignon. The side was these stuffed potatoes and asparagus. The stuffed potatoes were stuffed with a creamy filling almost like crab Rangoon but better. So yum. The waiter found out it was our anniversary and he went all out. He also gave me half a dozen roses and proposed to me in front of my husband . Yall just go here, and ask for Dennis to be your waiter. He's the best.
