But their bowls were a banger again!!! If you like spicy but not too spicy it's perfect. If you don't like it spicy just get white sauce only. Full flavor, perfectly cooked rice and tender perfectly portioned chicken. We got 5 whole wings that were crispy and seasoned well. I go to this place a lot. Their burgers are good , as are their wings. Their new chicken rice bowl is really spectacular. Healthy and delicious. I only have one complaint and it's a minor one. While the stools they have for their high top tables are quite comfortable , the metal chairs for the regular tables are super narrow and very uncomfortable. You should all go here a lot and spend a lot of money so that they can afford to replace those chairs with something better. And seriously try that chicken rice bowl it's really good . read more

Went here during COVID the first time, forgot all about it, and happened to stop in for some wings. We remembered immediately why we liked it so much! I have been in three times now and enjoyed the food and service each time. The wings are just the right size with plenty of sauce and flavor. If you like hot go with their extra hot. The pepper they use sneaks up on you just the right way! My buddy had a cheeseburger and no complaints there either. Now their Periperi chicken....you HAVe to try it. Still one of my favorite places in the DMV to get Mumbo wings. Super saucey and fried to perfection! Best fried pickles i've ever had and they are in spears rather than pickle chips. I recommend getting a large if you have to share because these pickles are A-1!! The fries are also really good, and consistent on every trip. I haven't had a bad visit to this establishment and i've been here on multiple occasions. I always choose local wing spots over chain wing spots because the flavors are usually more telling of the tastes of the city. If you're anywhere close then I suggest that you give them a try. Great Wings, honestly had this delivered to work one time because someone said they had good deals on a large amount of wings. Used to always go to wing stop and now go here 90% of the time I eat wings. This place is good, cooked to order(preferably well done for my wife but regular for me) and good customer service. I happen to be one of those who appreciate my chicken fried a little harder. Every single time and I mean every single time I order from this place and request for my wings to be cooked well done they never are. I always literally have to check my food before leaving to make sure they are cooked as I requested. The kids working there cook them for the amount of time THEY WANT which probably has something to do with them being busy and not wanting to utilize the cooker for too long so that they can throw in the next batch of wings for the next customer. Not sure. It could also just be that the person taking my order over the phone never puts in my "well done" request in the system for the cooks in the back to see. Almost every time when I call I'll ask for them to repeat my order over the phone to assure they got everything correct and they will read off every single detail except the well done request. And I'll have to repeat the well done request a time or two before hanging up the phone. But I do advise always checking your food before leaving if you take out. Either the wings are undercooked or some item is left out. Oh yea that is the second thing. They often leave off items ordered too. read more

I actually had to eat the meat without the bread due to the ratio, the meat was tasty but would of enjoyed the sandwich as a whole. I was also disappointed that they charge .40cents for every topping even lettuce and tomato, normal toppings should be included in the sandwich price. They have pretty good fried chicken. But they take NO care in seeing that you get a good mix of drums, breasts, wings and thighs. They just throw in whatever pieces they want. The wings were just okay but I was annoyed that when i tried to order the 12 wings with 2 sauces (6 spicy and 6 not) and i was told they could only do one. Had they been busy I understand but this did not appear to be the case. So i ordered ( 2) 6 piece and couldn't believe the price was almost $15.00. For 12 wings this was way too much.
