Amazing pho! Super flavorful. The woman who cooked my food was super sweet. Seemed a bit overwhelming in there cause there was a power outage so they were only taking cash or Venmo/zelle and lunch rush. I'm assuming her daughter helps her out but she was taking orders while her mom cooked. Food was really good but I did take it to go and realized they forgot a few things for my pho. Maybe some lime? Pho Nomenal Deli is really a testament to a wonderful small business. The owner of this establishment is a kind woman who seems to not only do the cooking, but answers the phone, and works the register. The pho is delicious and I truly think the amount of meat given is generous compared to other pho restaurants. I was so surprised about the bahn mi! The pork bahn mi is sweet and savory, and the pickled veggies add a perfect balance! I am usually not a fan of bahn mi, but I love the one from here. I also don't like cilantro so you can ask for it without it. Overall, the woman who works here is so kind. My s/o always goes in and she recognizes him now. Food is sooo good and authentic! I actually wanted to try the Korean restaurant next door, unfortunately, they closed for the holiday. Decided to give this place a try and it does not disappoint! We had chicken pho and beef pho, omg so good! Their noodle is a little thicker than the normal pho, which I think is quite unique and tastes good. The broth is so flavorful, even my kids approved it! LORTON, Va. - That's one darn good bahn mi. The missus and I stopped by this strip mall diner on a Sunday midday. A few customers but plenty of available seating. Clean. Very no-frills interior. It's an odd sort of 'we have American diner food like burgers and pancakes, plus several bahn mis and phos.' Quite inexpensive. Our grilled chicken bahn mi was $8, freshly made and, again, darn good. The bread was lightly grilled for a nice crunch. Summer roll appetizers ($6) was two burrito-sized spring rolls, again freshly made. The nam dihn pho ($14) was quite good, with these nice slices of whole ginger in the broth, giving it a zesty zip. Dishes came out one at a time as they were prepared, presumably. My brother and I swung by this strip mall since there multiple eateries and will visit them at a later date. This small cafe is on a corner lot, parking is limited but manageable. As you walk in, there are limited seatings, friendly staff and restaurant is clean. We ordered 5 items: 1) Summer rolls 2) Banh mi 3) Chicken pho 4) Shaking beef 5) Grilled lemongrass pork. The summer rolls were delicious and generous portion. The banh mi was filled with the essential condiments, grilled pork, crispy outer crust and delicious but was missing some heat like jalapeño. I decided to get the chicken pho, before adding anything I like to taste the broth which was filled with umami. Be careful with your first bite because that broth is piping hot but delicious. The shaking beef served with white rice was tasty and the meat was tender. The lemongrass pork was well charred, seasoned and amazing. It was served with white rice, fresh vegetables and pickled daikon with carrots. There are some items on the menu that will need extra time to prepare and you will need to call ahead like their banh xeo. I will make another visit to try other items on this large menu. read more

I went in feeling under the weather but definitely had a great experience. Came here from Woodbridge around 9am because it was the only location that was open for pho and was not disappointed. This was easily the best pho I and my family have ever, ever had. Every bite was addicting and was cooked to perfection. The pho was so flavorful that adding hoisin to it should be considered a felony, and the grilled pork was so well seasoned and so soft but still with a strong crisp around the edge. We also ordered some iced coffee which was creamy and sweet and incredible. The service, even with only one worker was so good and the woman who runs the place was so kind. Overall, an incredible experience. The only other thing I could say about the restaurant is that it definitely lives up to its name. read more

I cannot tell you what the food tastes like or how the service is. On Sunday afternoon when my fiancé walked in to place a to go order, there was a cat on the counter to greet us. The cat looked at us as if it was going to take our order (right by the cash register). Needless to say, we left as quickly as we walked in. Fresh flavors from this small diner in an industrial area, serving American fast breakfast in the AM and Vietnamese food the rest of the day. I am a huge fan of homemade sauces/dips and they have this amazing chutney in a plastic jar on the tables. Very flavorful, some mix of ginger, lemongrass, and peppers. Underrated discoverd gem. The meat in your pho is so good and the broth is so flavorfull. Other pho places you cant really taste the meat because they are mainly frozen but here it tastes fresh and flavorfull. The noodles were a different taste for me since i always had the straight spaghetti looking ones unlike these wide ones but they were still good. Ill rather come here then the one in saratoga shopping center. The people were nice and helpful. Only complaint is the place is pretty cold (66F) but everything else was fine. I've lived in Lorton pretty much my whole life and I can't believe I'm just now finding this gem of a pho spot. I had the chicken pho and the pork bánh mì, and both were so flavorful. The pho gave me actual energy. The chicken was tender, and the broth was so tasty and filling. You can tell everything is made from scratch with so much care and love. The shop itself is super clean and cozy, and the woman who runs it was so kind and welcoming. She really treats you like family, and you can feel the heart behind everything. This little industrial park has become one of my favorite food destinations. Le Thai Cuisine serves excellent versions of all the Thai standards (I recommend the crispy whole pompano/snapper and the chili wings). Hunan Deli isn't really a deli, but they make outstanding Korean/Chinese food that's as good as anything I've had in Annandale. Then there's Pho Nomenal Deli, which actually IS a deli: you can get all the usual American breakfast and lunch sandwiches and platters (for those who aren't up for Vietnamese food) along with pho, banh mi, and boba tea. Always been a big fan of Asian delis, since you can almost always get a bulgogi cheesesteak. I ordered a basic rare eye of round pho and it was delicious and unlike some places, they don't skimp on the meat. Nice balanced broth that wasn't too salty/fishy or star anise heavy. Noodles had a good chew to them and everything was fresh. Grabbed a grilled pork bahn mi to go and it was also stuffed with seasoned meat on a crusty roll, topped with mayo, carrots, radish, cilantro, and jalapenos. Served by some nice ladies who seem to know everyone who walks through the door. All the restaurants I've mentioned are immaculately clean and their prices are quite reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food and service. So if you're a local or traveling through and need to get off 95 for a meal and a pit stop, skip the fast food and make a detour to this place. We visit the area a couple times a year to see friends and noticed this spot on our way out of town and stopped for a late Saturday lunch. The food was fantastic. We had the #70 Pho with steak, ginger, and garlic. It's a style we'd never had before and ordered on the recommendation of the owner (who was very welcoming and sweet). I actually saw it when I was going to the same shopping center to get pizza a few doors down and liked the name (any play on words is so entertaining to me for some reason). I had an upset stomach so I wanted some soothing pho. They had something that had ginger and garlic sauteed with the meat and let me tell you. I cannot go back to regular pho anymore! The broth is sooooo flavorful. Im usually an extra extra sauce kinda gal but this broth needed NO extra hoisin or anything! It was sooooo good! They have a very extensive American menu which I will try.
