Starline is cheap, yummy, and well located! It is such an amazing family owned restaurant. If you want a quick meal or something different. I VERY much recommend! The owner is at the register everyday with a big smile! And the store is always very clean.

Beef Bulgogi Rice Bowl

While passing through on a road trip we detoured here for a quick lunch. Imagine my surprise at the eclectic mix on the menu. And imagine my surprise when the bulgogi bowl knocked my socks off. But we also loved the selection of plantain chips that made for excellent road snacks which sustained us all the way to North Carolina. This place is an under the radar gem.

Grabbed lunch here with some co-workers a few times. If not for the sign, you could easily drive past this place. Parking lot is small. They're set up a like a school/work cafeteria. Seating is limited, but it wasn't full the times we went there. I've only ordered the Korean lunch box or rice bowls, which were ok, and didn't try their Latin American or Jamaican dishes. If your looking for no-frills or grab-and-go for under $15, then this is a decent place.

Pork Belly Banh Mi tasted like pork if you had Covid and couldn't taste anything.

Got the pork banh mi with fries and soda. Pork had no flavor was very bland and tough. It had to put ketchup on it to make it eatable. Still was unenjoyable. Bread was tough (was it old?) but tomato in it was fresh. Fries were so undercooked it was pale but hard. Oh and the lettuce was starting to brown on the edges. Only noticed cuz I cannot stand soggy lettuce and know the taste of rot. Can of coke was the only thing that didn't have anything wrong with it. It's a cheap place for a lot of food. I wouldn't recommend this place if ur looking to enjoy ur meal. If u need something to fill ur belly for cheap then go for it.

Starline is located in the industrial area of Fullerton Ave. Parking was a little confusing, one section of spots was 20 minute parking and the other was for the auto place next-door. We parked in the 20 minute parking and it was fine. The beef bulgogi lunchbox is a great deal and you get great quality food for the price. The cold noodles on the side were pleasantly surprising. I loved the flavor of the beef. It even had a little kick in the aftertaste. Once we added a bit of salt to the fries they were delicious. Cooked really well with just the right amount of crisp. We added the dumplings after we placed our initial order and I'm glad we did. They were crunchy on the outside and nice and chewy in the middle. I honestly have no idea what kind of meat was inside, but if I had to guess I'd say pork or beef. What I do know is the flavor was yummy! I didn't taste the quesadilla, but my husband said it was really good and that he'd order it again. I of course have to touch on the customer service. It was nothing short of amazing. We walked in to smiling faces and fast service. I know we will be back again!

Toooooooo dry . Jerk chicken with jollof rice and plantain
Q. S.

I really wanted to like this place but I couldn't. Ordered several dishes from Uber eats but most of them were not good. The pork belly rice wrap tasted pretty good but I found a long hair in it, I know it's not my hair because I pulled it all the way out from the wrap/burrito. The jerk chicken and Jill of rice, as well as plantain were super dry. Curry shrimp and bulgogi bento were okay.

Bulgogi lunch box with miso soup

Formerly Cocorea Deli, seems to be under new ownership. Same great food and service though. I always hit this joint when I'm in the area for work. I always get the bulgogi lunch box for under $10 and it's consistently filling and delicious! A big pile of seasoned and sauced beef, steamed rice, noodles, and kimchi. Optional miso soup is always good too. No frills, great food. Credit cards only accepted over $5 I think.

This place was quite a great find! It's basic Deli food but they have variety and it's affordable! Me and my co-worker went and had lunch there today. I had the Carne Asada Rice and Bean bowl. It was good! My co-worker got the cheesesteak platter. She said it was really good as well. We'll definitely be coming back to try out other menu items!

Don't order the jerk chicken and jollof rice. There s was no jerk in my chicken. It tasted like lightly seasoned baked chicken. It was very disappointing for me personally. I hope this was just a fluke and they don't always send it out like this. Jollof was very overcooked and dry. Plantains were very dry. I would never order this again from this place.

I asked myself: "Is it really that affordable? AND their lunch specials happen on Saturdays too?!" Yes and YES! The lady serving was was very hospitable and checked on us every so often making sure we had everything we needed. The interior was clean and the decor was nice. We ordered steak hibachi and salmon lunch special. The steak hibachi plate was delicious: came with clear soup, salad, and sautéed veggies and fried rice with the medium steak (as requested). The salmon lunch special was also a generous sized piece of salmon. I enjoyed the miso soup and the house salad too. The house salad dressing was perfect and the soup was not too salty and was the optimal temperature. Best of all, we ordered a salmon roll and the salmon was so fresh. Again, super generous with their portions of fish! We ended with a fried ice cream. In probably wouldn't get it again since the ice cream scoop was much smaller than expected, but it was nice to try. I highly recommend coming here for their lunch specials! My partner's family ordered sushi lunch specials (3 rolls for $17.50) and I definitely am eyeing that for my next visit.

Eggs & Sushi is one of those hideouts and if you're not careful, might end up eating 7k calories before you leave. You'll only know this place exists if you live or work in the Lorton area where Eggs & Sushi stands firm. If not for Google Maps, you may drive on by without a thought. I stopped because their simple sign but just some quirky in a strange way caught my eye and it's in the middle of a warehouse street where you would not expect food places to be. Surprisingly, there are always little cafes in these kind of places that feed the immediate workers there. They are sometimes the hidden gems nobody will hear about unless you work in that area. This is one of them. Walking in, it feels like a small diner, yellow walls, lots of menu above the grill area displayed on multiple screens, properly lit dining area. They take orders at the end and at a kiosk as well. Window seats, couple of tables, and some bar seats also. Seems simple enough but this place is the ultimate trap for the hungry. Be careful! When you look up, you realize they have a vast menu and varied in the most fantastic way. You have your generic American style food, eggs, pancakes, french toast, sausage, sandwiches, coffee, smoothie, an all day breakfast menu. Then you keep walking around to look at the menu, you see sushi, rolls, poke bowls, ramen, some dons, etc. You might think, hmm, they might be overloaded on the menu. Wrong! They make fantastic sandwiches! Smaller not overpriced ramen but with lots of oomph flavor! These guys bring the umami and drip it like masters. The dons hit, the ramen hits, the sandwiches hit, and my all time favorite breakfast item, the elegantly simple French toast hits. They are serving hits here and only a few know about it. Service was adequate from their high school kid waiters. The owners at the grill are very friendly if you get a chance to interact with them. Just a very chill ambience. It's diner that makes me want to move to Lorton. If you find yourself here one day, be careful. The menu makes you want to try everything. I haven't touch everything yet so I'm definitely coming back to try more. I just hope all these reviews won't mean I can't find my cozy window seat in the future.

I also picked up a shirt love. Dumplings filled and tasty. The miso soup was your standard fair. It did not have any tofu in it so that was a disappointment. I would definitely return to try their breakfast options.

Which is awesome when you want that dish without the show and the price premium. Everyone certainly will find something that they like here. While the people working were nice and checked in with us many times, the issue was with us receiving our orders. We had a larger party, and expected a longer wait for food, which was fine, but the food came out at different times. By the time the last person got their food, the first few people were already finished eating. For food, I ordered a spicy salmon roll and a salmon skin roll. The fish-to-rice ratio on these was good, pretty typical order. This isn't the best salmon skin roll I've had. The salmon skin wasn't crispy because they left some of the meat on, which could be seen in the roll, so it was hard to chew through at times. This is serviceable sushi, but doesn't sit high on my list.

Atmosphere: Tucked into a quiet Kingstown strip mall. Interior is nice if not a bit dated and dark. They seem to only have hibachi tables, and when we arrived, it was empty (we did also have a reservation). It got much busier earlier, and I think that is because it takes time to move people in and out with the hibachi. Service: The greeter and server were excellent. We observed some other hibachi chefs who seemed fun and engaged. Our chef, however, seemed really checked out and was not into doing the whole shtick. Here's where I lowered my rating from a 4.5 or even a 5 to a 3 - My wife and I are allergic to shellfish, and my mother doesn't eat shrimp because it's not kosher. The server asked us about dietary restrictions, and we noted right away that we wanted our shrimp that comes with each meal to go to my father, the only member of our party who eats it. We also requested that the rest of the food be cooked further away from the shrimp and not make direct contact, etc. We also repeated this request to the chef again when he started preparing our meal. Despite this, he proceeded to prepare the shrimp with it touching the chicken and beef, and used the same hibachi utensil the entire time, moving between the shrimp and the other meats and veggies without care. Luckily, we don't have a strong contact response , but my throat did feel itchy after the meal. I think this was a reasonable request and one that has been accommodated at every other hibachi restaurant I have ever been to - at Disney, they simply accommodated us by cooking the shrimp after everything else was done and served. The only 'care' our chef took here was omitting the part of the service where shrimp pieces are tossed. On top of this, the food was much greasier than even the average hibachi. Tons of butter - I also thought the way the chef dipped his used grill utensils into a huge vat of butter was unsanitary and likely against code. Everything tasted okay in the moment, but two of us got sick after - not sure if this was from the food safety or the sheer amount of butter and oil. Chicken was flavorful but dry. Steak was flavorful but tough. Veggies were very good. I enjoyed my hot saki and my wife enjoyed her Kirin. Soup and salad are served with the meal. I was surprised that the soup was a clear chicken broth and not miso as is traditional. It was very plain and flavorless. Overall, I would not recommend this place, despite there being fewer and fewer hibachi options around where you get the full grill experience.
