    Spicy Pork with Rice
    Nou Nou S.

My brother and I had so many choices to choose from in Woodbridge and we were happy to make this selection. It is located inside Fresh World International Market on the far left side. You are greeted by a warm, genuine, great smile female name Mina. She will take your order and will bring it out to you when it's ready. The small cafe has limited seatings but manageable. We ordered 5 items: 1) Chicken teriyaki tacos 2) Dolsot bibimbap 3) Spicy pork with rice 4) Yukgae Jang 5) Jajang Myun. Well let's talked about these tacos. You get to choose from 3 proteins but no mix match and I'm cool with that. It comes to the table of two So I chose the chicken and it included some fresh cabbage slaw with house dressing, chicken teriyaki was very tender and moist The combination was outrageously good. Like OMGOSH, I wasn't able to stop eating it. I gave the other one to my brother and he agrees. I'm still talking about those tacos. The Jajang Myun is a noodle bowl filled with pork, vegetables and a thick black bean sauce. It's served with some pickled radishes. It was good with a settle taste. The Dolsot Bibimbap arrived to the table in a hot stone bowl and you can hear the crackling of the rice which is on the very bottom and filled with blanched vegetables such as bean sprouts, carrots, onions, spinach or watercress, zucchini, pickled radish, beef bulgogi topped with a fried egg and a side of gochujang . Once you stir and incorporate all items together, the flavor is unique and delicious. The Spicy Pork is fulfilling with in depth flavors and the meat is very tender. It is served with a small cup of miso soup and a side of kimchi. The broth of the Yukgae Jang was absolutely amazing and filled with richness. It would be great for any occasions. The cafe is clean and organized. There's a self served water and Korean tea station. The owner Mina is very attentive, friendly and has a genuine personality. We will definitely make another visit to try other items on the menu because this place didn't disappoint!

About a 2-2.5: I'm sorry, Dosirock, but on our recent visits, the food just hasn't been consistent. I'm thinking it's when certain staff are not present; usually, when our favorite individuals are there, the food is piping hot, on point, and so delicious. We've noticed that when the main owner(s) are there, the food seems to be haphazardly prepared and not what we usually receive in terms of quality. The jajangmyun noodles are overcooked and/or the sauce is a bit watered down; the fried rice is more on the bland side, so we always have to ask for extra soy sauce; the chicken katsu uses too thick of a cut of meat, and the batter just slips off. The jjigaes usually come out boiling hot, but it can be sometimes less spicy than the usual. We recently tried their KFC, and it was just inedible - the drums and the flats seemed to be supersized, and I was curious if it was even cooked all the way through. The glaze was sickly sweet and not good at all. Note that if you have any leftovers and want to take them home with you, you'll have to pay for the to-go boxes. I recommend in bringing your own tupperware. Located inside Fresh World, there's ample parking in the large plaza lot. +inconsistent quality of food +located inside Fresh World

Food - 4/5 Ordered the Donkatsu. It was delicious. The sauce it came with was more of a curry sauce than Katsu sauce. It came with a side of kimchi, rice and miso soup. Service - 4/5 it was quick, served my food in a timely manner Ambiance - 4/5 found inside grocery store. Gave food court vibes.

It's in a grocery store. Walk in. Turn left nd last the registers It butts up against a Mexican eatery. Seating is limited (it's in a grocery store), and I found it a bit chilly inside. I was wanting a black bean soup-but don't eat pork, which is in their black bean offering So instead I got the shaved beef with scallions -spicey! Came a side of rice and kimchi Spicey and hot, it took a few minutes for them onto get it to me. Unsure if they were cooking something fresh, or because there where many to-go orders in front of me But it came out piping out and delicious. As cold as I was waiting, I warmed up real quick when I started spooning the spicey concoction. Who knew onions and beef and spicey would be soo filling and delicious I ate quite a bit while there. (1p ish). Took it home. Ate another full bowl at (11p ish-see pic of size), and STILL had a lil bit to eat the next day $15 and two and a half meals! Worth it! Seemed authentic so I'd recommend!

Pretty good! Quick and fresh. Delivery costs are a little expensive but it's good enough that I don't mind! Beef bulgogi had good flavor and there was plenty of meat.

Tried this place yesterday and was blown away! The food here is amazing There is plenty of parking in the parking lot because this place is located inside a grocery store called Fresh World. The cashiers/servers are super nice. There are a few tables, not a lot because it is a casual type of vibe. My party and i ordered 2 appetizers, the Dduckbboki and Seafood pancake. The entrees we ordered were: - Jabche bab - Chicken Katsu - Yukgae-Jang - 2 Dolsot Bibimbap All the dishes were absolutely delicious!! They were all so flavorful and really big portions. Each dish comes with a side of kimchi and miso soup. The soup entrees come with just the kimchi. The chicken katsu comes with a side of rice as well. Their kimchi is the best!! I have no complaints at all! Will definitely be coming back soon to try out more of their menu Side note: their kimchi is for sale so you can take some home

Brought my mom to do a little shopping and stopped by to grab a bite to eat. My mom ordered the jja jang myun and it was good. I ordered the galbi tang and it was Ah-mazing! The broth was flavored so deeply and the meat was tender. It was perfect on a cold, rainy day. The service is wonderful. The ladies behind the counter are so nice. It is a small space so it got crowded quickly but that's normal for shopping corner eating. Try it! You won't be sorry.

Stumbled upon this little Korean place and got some hearty meals! Dosirock is located *inside* the Fresh World international market and has a booth/counter space with some tables/chairs. According to my Korean friend, dosirock means lunchbox! They serve pretty classic Korean items. I got the jjampong (the seafood noodles) because I was craving some soup with the weather changes. I was pleasantly surprised at the portion size. The seafood broth flavors were pretty good but felt like it would be more rich? The noodles were nicely cooked, on the other hand. I loved how they gave me lots of veggies and seafood (mussels x4, shrimp x2, octopus pieces, etc). Each meal comes with kimchi and some soup ones come with rice. The couple running the place was very nice and checked in with us several times. Its a very simple place with solid Korean food!

I was pleasantly surprised that there was a solid Korean option at this place inside a supermarket. The ojinguh dupbap and jjajangmyun are both solid options. They give a hearty quantity and are extremely nice as well. It's not in the fanciest location but if you're out this way and need a quick bite, I'd definitely recommend it.

    Ja Jang Myun

Delicious and healthy serving sizes! I came back by myself several times to try other dishes. I didn't take a picture but I also had their fried mackerel and mandu and both were well flavored. I'll be sure to come back whenever I'm in the area!

Amazing Korean food right here in Woodbridge authentic and really really reasonable priced. I would recommend this place to anybody.

Spicy Pork. Slightly spicy. Very generous portion size! I just wish the pork was cut into smaller pieces...

Dosirock. (2.9 stars). Dosirock (aka Dosirak aka Box Lunch). Located inside Fresh World International Market. Enter the Market and take a left and walk all the way to the end. It's located next to the Frozen Foods section. I just moved to Woodbridge a week ago. Since COVID is still rampant, I try not to dine in but still support local mom & pop establishments when I can. I used my Yelp app to see what was around me & Dosirock popped up as an option. ---- I'm going to preface the rest of my review by saying I've worked/cooked in my family's numerous restaurants in Hawaii, Washington State, and Korea (& learned to make pasta & Sauces from my neighborhood Italian Nonnas' in Worcester MA) so my idea of Korean or Korean fusion is probably different from most. I'm NOT a classically trained chef but I can say I'm a pretty capable home cook when it comes to Homemade Pasta & Korean food... ---- Ok, so Dosirock reminds me of Palama Supermarket in Hawaii that has a little food court stall that sells Korean food. I have been here twice now. The first time I came, I got home & realized that they gave me the wrong order. I called them just to let them know so that they wouldn't mistakenly give my extra spicy squid to someone else on accident. The second time I came here, I made sure to check my order before leaving. The service is here is FRIENDLY & INVITING!! The young lady remembered me & profusely apologized for the mixup. I tried to pay for my squid plate but she refused. I still ordered more food to support them as well as to help make my decision as to whether I'd be back. Even though I'm giving Dosirock an "A-OK" rating, it's not a bad thing! It's a decent Korean fast food establishment! Here's what I ordered: Spicy Pork with Rice - $15. GENEROUS PORTION!! Heavy on the oil which isn't pleasant to eat. The oil coats my entire mouth & leaves me not wanting to eat anymore!! The sauce is slightly spicy but there isn't much flavor past that. No hint of sesame oil or garlic detected. Just oil & red pepper flakes... The major issue for me is that the pork slices are too big. If I eat 1 slice of pork with rice I will run out of pork & have tons or rice left. I just wish the pork slices were cut in half. Easier to chew & digest. (2.5 stars) Black Noodle (Jjangmyun) - $10. Generous portion. Noodles are al dente. The sauce is homemade and flavorful but next time I'll ask for a little extra. The sauce barely covered the noodles. (3.5 stars) Spicy Seafood Noodle (Jjamppong) - $13. Generous portion. The seafood was fresh & boiled properly. The broth is homemade but lacking seasoning. Not worth ordering again (for me). The noodles are the same that is used in the Jjajangmyun. I love the noodles! (3 stars) Spicy Squid with Rice - $15. Generous portion. I asked that my dish be made extra spicy. My dish was slightly spicy at best. No flavor past that. Similar to the pork... Oil & red pepper flakes... The squid, while tender, did not absorb any of the sauce so that was disappointing. (2.5 stars) Dumplings - $6. Meh. Frozen dumplings that are fried. The sweet soy glaze is a nice touch though. (3 stars) I watched the cook prepare my meal on my second visit & I was happy to see that they make each order fresh. The only issue with my overall experience is that the sauce in whatever dish I ordered is lacking any depth of seasoning and/or flavor. Would I come back? Probably at some point. It's very close to where I live. Would I recommend it? Sure, if you're looking for a very generous portion size for a relatively affordable price. I'm sure if I feel lazy enough I'll be back. I'm actually quite impressed with the price point, regardless of the fact that they are just renting a food stall vice an entire building... Conceptually, Dosirock does remind me of eating in Korea... I wish Dosirock well & hope they can survive the pandemic.

The food here is so good! It's so fresh and tastes like a good home made meal! Hands down some of the best kimchi I've ever had. The staff is so nice and makes sure you are taken care of. It's in a fun location too, so you can go to the grocery store for dessert if you aren't too full. Me and my boyfriend love coming here! Have never been disappointed.
