I've been a customer of Vietnam 75 since from about the time they opened the restaurant and have never had a bad meal. If you're new to Vietnamese cuisine and would like a recommendation, you can't go wrong with the trifecta of Goi Cuon (Summer Rolls), Pho Tai (slices of eye-of-round steak beef noodle soup) and wash it all down with Ca Phe Sua Da (Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk). read more

Tastes and experiences are subjective and bad as well as good reviews should be shared and the common themes for others to learn and make their own decisions on whether to give a business their patronage. This review is to WARN any potential customers (but only groups of 6 or more) that you are about to be robbed by this restaurant to the tune of 15% should you eat here. My family and extended family of 15 people ate at this restaurant this weekend. Ordered food and the bill was paid. Then the issue of contention happened. Learning from my mother who paid the bill that she questioned the "15% additional service charge for parties of 6 or more" and told this was NOT the same as a tip and that a tip was still expected. I went to the server who closed out the bill and the server confirmed that what was explained to my mother was the position of the restaurant that this automatic service charge for parties of 6 or more was not the same as an automatic gratuity and that a tip still expected. The server said this was per the owner of the restaurant and when asked responded that this policy had been implemented in about the past 6 months. We respect hard work in the food service industry and have never tipped less than 15% to 25% and though this experience meant my family will never be coming back we also didn't want this experience to be the first where a restaurant--even one with shady business practices--felt we did. If you are a group of 6 or more and are considering this restaurant consider this review a warning that this is what you will experience. Watch your bill carefully and see if you have a similar experience because if your experience is the same as ours what you experienced was at a minimum discrimination against larger groups and at worst theft (should your food cost 15% more just because you're in a larger group?) if you're also told the service charge is not the same as a tip/gratuity. Write about your experience. I hope to see other reviews in the future that will either confirm or disprove our 1-star experience. How did the food taste? I've already forgotten. This restaurant has lost our future business though. On a different note we were here for a birthday celebration and afterwards had the best three-generations bowling experience to date! read more

I stumbled across this pho spot while visiting The Tasty Crab, and I'm so glad I did! I love pho soup, and after checking out the menu, I was happy to see the prices were comparable to my favorite spot back in New Jersey. I came back the next day for a late lunch/early dinner, and it did not disappoint. The deep-fried spring rolls and summer rolls were absolutely delicious -- fresh, crispy, and full of flavor. I ordered the B13, which includes slices of well-done brisket, well-done flank, fat brisket, soft tendon, and bible tripe. It was a bit more variety than I'm used to, but it all worked together really well. My daughter and I shared a bowl and still had leftovers to take home -- very generous portions! The only downside was the $0.50 charge for an extra take-out bowl. It's not a huge deal, but I feel like that should either be included in the price or they could use smaller, more cost-efficient containers. Other than that, I absolutely loved the pho. The website says they close at 9pm ! we stepped into the restaurant at 7:54 and the first thing an employee says to me is " can you order to go , we are closed "( Mind you there were like 5-6 tables still eating.) They do have a language barrier like most immigrant family business, but they are willing to go above and beyond to make their customers happy and satisfied. Their food is always fresh and authentic. We understand the restaurant stops taking dine-in orders after 8 pm, 30 minutes before close as they close at 8:30 pm, but we were there at 7:53 pm, and people that were un the restaurant already had their food, maybe like 3 or 4 families total. This is my first time going to this pho place. It's probably the best Vietnamese pho place in Woodbridge- is it the best pho I've ever had? No. But it's still very delicious. The price is the standard around here and they give you a lot of meat. The reason I'm taking away a star is because the customer service is really just - meh. The owner was so mean, the meat was dry and tasted weird, service was not that good, they set you and forgot about you.

My husband and I have been coming here on and off since they opened. Service and food have been pretty decent over the years - with some occasional issues, but nothing like this evening. To make a long story short, there were BUGS in my husband's seafood noodle soup. The two you see in the pic were not the only ones in the bowl. They were the ones willing to be photographed. (I know it's bad humor, but it helps me not become more irritated about this.) We let them know and they apologized, took the bowl, and brought him a new and much fresher bowl of soup, sans the flies or whatever the bugs were. This is my third time coming here. I really enjoy the food, authentic and flavorful. The crispy spring rolls, lemongrass pork, and Vietnamese ice coffee are their delicacies. I am not a big fan of pho, so they are usually not my go to. But my mom really likes their B19, the deluxe one I think. She said the broth was savory and the meat was tender. The owners and staff here are very nice and helpful, even though they don't speak English well. The other day when my family of 6 came in for my brother's birthday dinner, the old lady, due to her language difficulty misplaced some of our orders. When our food arrived, we got some dishes we didn't order. As soon as she realized her mistakes, the lady insisted on bringing us all the dishes we originally wanted and having us keep the misplaced plates. And not only that, she gave us some extra crispy rolls for free. I don't think the service here is that bad in comparison to some of the previous reviews on here. We just need to give them a little bit more patience and time. They are trying really hard to make their customers happy. read more
