This place is located on SE corner of Baseline and McClintock. It is located in the corner near a pet boarding place and Little India. I thought it was a pool repair place but they also sell pool supplies and equipment. I called them because my pump was leaking and they told me they were booked for the next 10-14 days. But the guy said take some pictures and come into the store and they will take a look and see if they could tell me what to do and save some money. So I took the pictures and went in. They told me some parts needed to be replaced. They told me it wasn't difficult to take it apart and which bolts to take out. I did watch a YouTube video. I just searched "how to take apart Pentair pool pump." The pump was a little different but key aspects are make sure the power supply is off from the fuse box because you need to detach some wires (see photo). You do need to mark the wires so you reattach them correctly. I used a permanent marker to mark one red (see photo). Then I took it in and they replaced the worn out parts for $32. I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up the same afternoon. It definitely would have cost over $100 if someone came to the house plus would have had to wait at least a week. Another important fact, make sure the filter vent is open when you turn the power supply back on. Because when I switched on the power, the pump started immediately and there was a lot of air in the system. And you need to make sure the air in the system can get out when the water enters otherwise it could explode. Just like when you backwash the filter. Anyway they saved me a lot of time and money.

They replaced our aged-out pool surface from plaster to micro pebble which included treating the concrete and adding a curative to the pebble mix. They installed hand-set iridescent step markers and new directionals, an aerator fitting, safety drain covers, a hand rail and new tile at the water line. It was quite the project and they did it within the projected timeline. Jessica pleasantly took our original call, setting the tone at the beginning and arranged sales rep Brandon to come to the house. He truly embodies the Business Development Ninja title on his business card. He impressed us with his demeaner, transparency and thoroughness at our initial meeting and in their showroom/design center where we chose our colors from plenty of options for the new surface, tiles, handrail and step markers. Project Manager Shawn updated us nearly daily on what to expect and when. As busy as he was, he promptly answered our questions and concerns in detail with good humor and respect and kept everything on schedule which transpired as he described. Massive respect to Zach & Richard & Juan and everyone in the chip-out, tile & surface install crews who each worked diligently throughout the unseasonably hot days. Afterwards, Chad gave a helpful orientation on caring for our pool and its new surface and surprised us with some thoughtful gifts. When it's time to tackle the decking or replacing equipment, we'll be calling Barefoot. We've already called for monthly pool service and look forward to meeting our pool tech Britney who will no doubt impress us as well. They weren't the cheapest of the quotes we took, but we definitely believe they were the best. Highly recommend! (cross-posted) Edited to add a special thank you to Krystle for her prompt assistance and reaching out.

Absolutely Amazing!…read more Not only did Dolphin Pools meet our expectations, they blew them completely out of the water (pun intended). I don't use words like spectacular, incredible, amazing, and awesome lightly. The process of building a pool is groundbreaking, in the literal sense. The timeline for this process took roughly 3 months from the dig to jumping into the water for a swim. Allow me to remind you that the process is never going to be perfect for such a large project. There are many stages to this massive commitment, such as designing, mapping, digging, plumbing, electrical lines, concrete, travertine, city permits, dealing with HOAs (and the list goes on). None of this is going to go without delays, corrections, ordering additional parts, weather issues, etc. That said, the experience with Dolphin Pools was nearly flawless every step of the way. My wife and I did our research, and based on Google/Yelp reviews, we decided to contact Dolphin Pools. From what I understand, there are a number of designers, but we had the great fortune of having Drew Siler assist us with designing our dream pool. From the moment we met Drew, we were instantly impressed and quickly moved forward with the project. Not only is Drew kind, honest, and thoughtful, but very professional. We had a plan, and Drew walked us through every detail with 3D pool design renderings. He listened to our wants, but always kept us grounded with what was possible within our property and budget. Drew made himself available at all times to answer our questions and continued to do so through the entire process. He told us it was possible to have the pool completed by my wife's birthday in September if everything went smoothly, and we made it. He is truly a man of his word and we couldn't thank him enough. I have to mention the excellent staff at Dolphin Pools as well. I would like to thank Nick, our Field Project Manager, who managed the many crews throughout the project. Also to the team managers Katie, Brenda, Laurie, Maria, and Tania that kept us informed through text, emails, and phone calls every step of the way. The crews included Hagarty Electric, Scholz Rebar, V Shotcrete Construction, Superior Pool Plastering, ACE Pool Repair and so many others. If you decide on getting a pool built, you should definitely consider Dolphin Pools. It's nerve-racking, noisy, dusty, and will inconvenience you for months, but I would do it all over again to get the perfect dream pool that we envisioned. We highly recommend Dolphin Pools, and 10 stars is not even close to enough!

We bought a house in Tempe and CAM Pools was servicing it, so we continued with them. After some…read morebig storms, the pool was a mess. [Added later: CAM's own report had photos showing it was a mess, but these aren't apparently reviewed by the owner.] CAM Pools didn't do much to clean up, and never told us hey, you need to pay more for storm cleanup. They basically left it to us to unclog the vacuum robot and clean up which we did as best we could. The chemistry was also very bad, as we found out later. The pressure on the pool filter was also way too high. [Added later: CAM's technician dutifully sent us a photo showing the pressure at 28 psi, but never told us that was bad.] That's all fixable, but they broke a tile (covering a skimmer basket) and never told us. Not great. But why they get only two stars is when I called the phone number in the "we cleaned your pool" email to cancel our service, the owner was positively mad at me for canceling without giving him a chance to fix the issues. He was angry and blamed me for not calling him earlier. He never apologized for these obvious problems or took responsibility. He wanted to yell at me for daring to complain without having called him first. Hard to believe that his company messed up and his angry reaction was that it was all my fault. [Added later: Note the owner's responses are "I'm sorry you feel that way" not "I'm sorry my company messed up." I hung up because he wanted to continue to argue with me about how I should have given him a chance to fix these problems. I was done with CAM and had every right to cancel without explanation. I never asked him to fix anything. If he really has a recording, I hope he posts it.] Contractors make mistakes. That's part of the territory. But blaming and yelling at the customers is not good. Maybe he had a bad day, so he gets two stars instead of one.

It wouldn't go down and didn't do the job a pop-up does. The process goes very quickly. The pool is beautiful, turned out great, except the pool aerator was put up to close to the edge of the pool so it is crooked and askew and looks bad, very noticeable. Of course, they didn't have the attachment in when they had me sign off that everything was great. Still waiting to see what can be done to make it look better. Hopefully something! We did sign off on this ahead of time just want you to be prepared if you have anything in your current yard. So, you will have your funds. I chose Presidential because they seemed more established and have put together more pools on the year than any other pool company. To be clear, I think we saw every pool company in west valley working our project BUT Presidential. They are brokers who use good businesses to complete their projects on their behalf. My issue with Presidential is that as brokers, the best trait they could have is clear communication. I had a project coordinator that clearly had too much on his plate. Days to respond to calls and texts, missed appointments and extremely slow to address issues that I was catching in the work being done. I had no peace of mind throughout the entire process and we had to rip up completed hard decking due to issues I was catching, being pushed aside by our coordinator (it's odd how much decking increased our rate during the quoting process, but when it had to be ripped up and removed, received pennies on the dollar in refund). Possibly my biggest issue is they require final payment well before the completion of their work and finishing this project dragged out for several weeks with a no-show appointment and a continued lack of communication. Still have lights that flicker and only offer 1 color, with a service ticket in for nearly 2 weeks now and no solution in sight. If you include a pergola in your project, expect to coordinate this portion on your own. They were completely non-existent once the pool was finished. I want to think that we just drew the short straw in hopes that others spending this amount of money aren't left feeling ignored and unimportant. I will say that Chris Cox and Walter Pendle were phenomenal people to work with and really went above and beyond once they got involved. Towards the end of the project, I was going directly to Chris and he responded within minutes and truly cared about our issues. Walter showed us the system/app and was thorough and easy to work with. He was a pleasure to work with. My project coordinator came out recently.... not to check on how the pool was or if we had issues, but to take pictures to file in their catalog. Just terrible. I hope that no one has to go through what I did with their projects, but will say that I would never recommend them to friends and family.
