Wouldn't trust this location anymore. Brought my water in 1 month ago and they said everything looks good just need to add a little chlorine. Next month check I go to a different location and they said I need to drain my pool and that I should've been told to do so last time my ester was checked. So now I'll be doing it when it's 100degrees outside and not when it's 75 degrees. Thanks BRIAN D... Brian and Matt are extremely helpful and always have been in the numerous times I've been in there. What was different today was the "district manager" Marc. Marc has an extremely toxic energy. As soon as I walked in I knew that the employees were on edge. Nervous to say or do anything with Marc standing over their shoulder. For a district manager to be able to express such clear aggression towards his staff in the very first minute I was in the store is extremely unprofessional of him. Being a person of leadership I pulled him aside and wanted to bring it to his attention to possibly get him to realize, in case he wasn't aware, what he was doing. He was completely non-receptive. Feigning surprise is pretty obvious when you do not possess the ability to receive criticism. Now I know that I do not know Marc, but he should not be in a position to lead people. I hope this is not a reflection of the leadership model of Leslies but in any event I do hope that someone in a position above Marc sees this and takes steps necessary to correct his behavior. There is often a wait due to attention to each customer, but they have been very helpful and clear. Seon is especially good. Give that man a raise! I had no problem returning something that did not work. As for the prices being higher? There are tons of coupons out there, you usually should not need to pay the listed price with a few minutes or research or checking your emails from them. read more

Last summer, I bought a pair of goggles, and before I'd even worn them, I foolishly left them in the car, and they melted. These guys let me exchange them, which I thought was very nice of them. Brian is garbage. I went in there with my pool cleaner to just get new tires weeks ago. He told me I also needed a few gears. Had everything he told me that it needed done for $140. Brought it home and the cleaner wouldn't move straight, only in its turning position (pool cleaner worked before I brought it to him, after he had it it did not work). Brought it back and Brian told me I needed another wheel and another gear for another $80. Brought it home still didn't work. Brought it back and Brian told me I needed to find a pool guy because the cleaner worked perfect and there was a problem with my pool. Got a pool tech to come check it out and he told me it was definitely the pool cleaner. Brought it back AGAIN for the 4th time and left it with someone else at the store. Went to go pick it up and Brian tried to charge me another $25 for more gears, but told me that the pool pump was the problem, not the gears or the pool cleaner. I told him I had a pool technician come to the house and verify that it was in fact the pool cleaner that was the problem and he told me to "get a new pool guy because the guy I hired doesn't know anything." Low and behold after the last 2 gears Brian replaced the pool cleaner works fine now! Nothing like throwing parts at the problem, charging the customer and getting lucky after me going back and forth for 3 weeks. I work in contractor based retail and throwing contractors that use Leslies as one of their suppliers under the bus and talking down on them is completely unprofessional. I will never be back again and I will make sure to tell everyone I know never to do business with them again. Extremely disappointed in Brian's professionalism. read more

I live in Chandler but work in Tempe. I have the option of many pool places to stop in between. I go to this location because has always been very helpful. Answered all of my questions and helped solve a few major pool issues with the least amount of money out of pocket. Wes has always been very professional, polite and offered great customer service. I usually try to time my visits when he is working. He is a great customer service representative for this company. Definitely not the least expensive but the service is worth it. I had a fantastic experience at this Leslie's pool supply. I dealt with the manager, I believe his name was Brian. I had some serious pool pump issues, bad seals and overall loss of function. I brought my entire pool pump in to see if there was a rebuilt kit. I actually took the pump apart in the store with Brian to ensure the correct parts and correct installation. I need to add, they were not supper busy, so they likely had the time to spend with me and my pump. Long story short, great experience, I've always had good experiences with Leslie's, especially at this store! read more

I went to Leslie's Pool Supplies several times to get help with problems with my pool. Being a single woman this gets to be overwhelming at times. Yesterday, my pool vac was not working and spinning in circles. I called first to see if it could be repaired. I was greeted on the phone with a very friendly and welcoming voice totally wanting to help me. "Bring it in right now!" was the comment from Brian. He was able to repair the vac and gave me recommendations on what to do next. This was so comforting and helpful and I am learning how to care for my pool. He told me he would help me with ANY problems and he was happy to help. I recommend Leslie's on Warner and McClintock to everyone. Thank you so much, Brian!!! read more

First time I went to this store, manager Wes was extremely helpful. Talked to me about problems with my spa, options to maintain the water quality, etc. He talked me into about $100 worth of stuff above what I had come in for. All I was missing was a little plastic air release valve. Wes sent me to another store which he said had it in stock. I drove there, they did not have it. Called Wes, he said he would order it for me. Until now I felt fine about this store, even with the extra hassle. After hearing nothing for 3 weeks, I called. Ed said Wes wasn't there, he didn't know anything about it, and blew me off on the phone (the correct response would have been to ask for my info, tell me he would look into it and get back with me). Called next day, Wes said it was never ordered and he didn't know what happened but he might be able to get it that day. I told him I was going out of town, so if he couldn't get it that day to call me when he got it. Back in town another 3 weeks later. No message. Called store, Ed blew me off on the phone again. Me; "You blew me off the same way on the phone 3 weeks ago." Ed; "Yeah." Will try one more time to see if my little plastic piece is in. First time I went to this store, I left planning to be a repeat customer. Now I'm wondering if they have so many customers that they can afford to take a quick $150 off me and move on. read more

Rude, service. Was argumentative and short with me. I was the only customer in the store. Was undecided about a purchase and opted for a few chemicals and some goggles. My biggest issue was I added the liquid chlorine and it did NOT have any effect on my tested levels. I added 1 more about 6 hours later. No effect! This was unusual for me as I've been using the same routine for years. I called and the guy was rude on the phone. Strike that-he just seemed annoyed that I dared to even call. I use a different store usually and was lazy, which is why I came to Leslie's which was next door to the place I came from earlier. Big mistake. I'll just go to the competitor I've been going to for years for now on. read more
