I have a older pool and I had a part that broke. my local pool parts place didn't have the part and didn't want to take the time to look it up to order. I found Price busters pool and spa, many miles from my house and stopped in. I had visited many independent shops before trying price busters with out any success. I need to say that from the moment I walked into the shop I was treated so nicely from the young lady at the reception desk. Then the owner help me right away. Saved us again! We were having trouble with our dream maker spa and stopped to have our pump tested. The guys were awesome confirmed the pump was worked and told us to check the fuse. We did and it worked! Needed a few replacement parts and they had those too. Expensive but these parts are hard to find and we needed them. They were very helpful! I called up the store looking for a new/used lid for my cartridge filter. I was in luck (or so I thought) as they did have one. I found a bunch on Amazon for $89 each, brand new. The person I talked from the store said he'd have to figure out what the price should be. 4 hours later, he called me back and said the price was $249!! What?? $249?!?! He tried to justify the cost as they "guarantee" the product and I wouldn't get a warranty/guarantee from Amazon. - BTW, Amazon DOES have a 30 day return policy and Pentair has a very good warranty on all it's products. I bought my Spa in February of 2022 and it leaks everywhere, it's a Cal Spa and these guys refuse to warranty it. They want to charge 200$ to show up and then charge labor. They did a bad install and I let that slide because I was happy to have a new spa and I corrected it myself. This place is a joke and the owner is rude. Go to the next store! UPDATE!!! I wanted to post a review on how nice MICHELLE and STEVE were in helping me pick out a spa unfortunately, it did not work out for me to buy from them, but no fault of their own. I recommended getting into the spa and found out that my knee , I have a bad knee, and that particular spa would not work for me. I was all prepared to buy that spa and they worked up the paperwork to save me time. I do appreciate everything they did for me and I would recommend purchasing from them. Having shopped 9 different companies there was only 2 that I would recommend out of the 9. What a joy it has been to deal with Bobby, Candice, and crew. We ordered a Cal spa swim spa over two and a half years ago. It came in on a timely fashion, unfortunately just when I was diagnosed with brain cancer. Our house plans that we were working with had to change to a more handicap situation. **Atention: Apathetic new owner alert! You are NOT dealing with the original owner, who built this business from the ground up with integrity, hard work & great customer service. We bought a new spa late last year and had a miserable experience. We live in another part of the state and negotiated a trade-in credit for our older unit. Everyone was helpful and pleasant until we wrote the check and headed home to wait for delivery. From there, little to no communication. I had to check repeatedly on the status for testing and delivery. Once the spa arrived, the owner flat out denied that he had made an agreement for our trade credit (we actually had to text him a photo of OUR paperwork) and upped the delivery fee. The worst part is that he was arguing with the delivery guy about the drop charge & pickup of our old unit and left it entirely on him to sort everything out. You would think that when you spend $10K for ANYTHING, that there would be at least a modicum of customer service, integrity & follow up. Strongly suggested that you take your business elsewhere. read more

Found them on Yelp needing a hot tub repair co. I really liked my experience with this group and recommend. The day of my appt I realized the power had blown to my backyard and the service tech would not be able to test the tub without it! I called to cancel and they were very gracious saying they would reschedule the following Monday so I could have time to get things fixed. Apparently they did not update the tech because he showed up on time a few hours later. When I explained to him that I had to cancel and why he said he would still come in back to take a look at make and model etc- no extra charge! When he came back on Monday (same guy) I felt he was very honest and upfront about what needed to be done and whether I should do refurbished equipment or new (they offer this!). If you need a repair please call these guys. They are definitely honesty and looking to give the best service as possible. read more

I'd like to say that if you're in the market for a new spa or hot tub, go see Candace. These folks are the real deal, an old-school Mom n' Pop experience, with customer service you don't normally get these days. They are willing to sit down and talk about your needs. If you don't buy? That's okay, but if you do? They are willing to do what it takes it with a happy friendly manner. The install team called with an hour's heads up they were on their way. They had to run electrical, but from start to finish, the total time was about 3 hours. Besides selling tubs and spas, they both maintain and service all products with the chemicals and know-how to keep them running properly. Don't deal will the big box stores, they just want the commission and provide nothing after the sale. We have been doing business with Bobby and Nick and anyone else that we may have crossed paths with here for many many years. They serviced our previous hot tub at our previous home. They all did great work. If I had an issue that wasn't resolved they would make it right. We recently moved and there was a spa here. We had Nick come out and assess the work necessary to get the hot tub working properly. We spent a lot of money. It didn't work out in our favor and of course I was upset. This is in response to the business owner's (Bobby) comments on my original review. My original review did not mention anything about the lack of cleanliness of Bobby's clothes although I imagine he threw that in just to have a reason to segue into telling everyone how hard he worked that day. I have no reason to believe that he doesn't do his job well when it comes to the hands on stuff and my review wasn't anything about that aspect of the company. My review was about Bobby's lack of professionalism and lack of satisfactory customer service. Chowing down on beef jerky the whole time you're talking to a potential customer...tacky and unprofessional. I don't care what kind of business you run, good customer service is the most important part of it and that can make or break whether someone decides to do business with you. I don't need anybody to make me feel important, as Bobby put it. That has nothing to do with good customer service. Good customer service is about showing respect, being attentive and meeting the (potential) customer's needs, being knowledgeable and offering solutions. Bobby did not even ask what kind of spa we were looking for. He didn't ask if we were first-time spa owners (which would then warrant him providing additional information to help educate us). In fact, I don't recall him asking me anything past the initial reason why we were there. If you come across like you couldn't care less about getting my business then I will definitely take my business elsewhere. It's as simple as that. As for Bobby stating there was no information disclosed on the invoices and receipts, that is false. The invoices clearly showed name, address, phone number, what was purchased, how much deposit was paid and balance due. Stapled to the invoice was the transaction receipt for the deposit which had the last 4 digits of the payment card number on it. If you have a quality product at a reasonable price along with good customer service then that should speak for itself and there shouldn't be a need to show potential customers receipts from previous customers to prove that you sell the same price to everyone. That's irrelevant. As for what my "true intentions and interest is in sharing such a miserable life experience", it's important to share firsthand experiences so that people can make better informed decisions on where to take their business. You can't expect every review that you receive will be positive (although that is something you have a great deal of control over by how you deal with (potential) customers). And the ability to post a review about the experience you have with a business is out here for a reason. If you're not comfortable receiving negative reviews then consider this something you can learn from and take the feedback as constructive criticism and strive to do better going forward. read more

we needed a new cover for our hot tub - called Bobby at Price Busters and he told me they had some in stock and i could come check them out - buy one and if it didn't work he would take it back - who does that?! We went in, picked one out and took it home - it fits nicely and we will keep it! He was awesome about telling us how we should keep the water clean and not use bromine or anything like that. I've bought a pool brush here before and liked the price and the quality of it since it was partial steel and plastic. I don't think you can get that at any of the chain stores. The selection is not deep but then you don't need a lot of selection if they've got a product no one else has. Anyways, I decided to try them again to repair my Barracuda pool cleaner since the bladder was ripped after sucking in my kids' toys left in the pool. I was worried that I'd be unable to have it repaired and end up having to buy a new pool cleaner that would cost me up to $400! But THANK GOODNESS they had spare parts for many models, which mine was no longer available, and fixed it for only $40. It was repaired in 3 days (I dropped it off on a weekend). I love supporting a local business and these guys are great, friendly and honest! read more

I honestly don't even know where to begin, my husband and I came here to get our pool motor part repaired. They quoted my husband under $200. When we got to the place to view our part the bill was well over $200 but nobody notified us. When I told my husband that we needed to have better communication because this was over our initial budget Candace interrupted me and said I will not let you "emasculate" your husband in front of me because you have an attitude problem. I was completely shocked I was no way rude to my husband and he didn't feel as if I was. I figured it would end there I didn't say anything and I let it slide. Then as we asked for the price of the spa she continued with her rude comments asking if we had children and saying oh thank god because that would be another thing for you to to argue about then proceeded to say I could really use the spa because I am completely stressed and again mentioned my attitude when the only person in the room with the attitude was Candace. I had no issues with the tech or repairman I just couldn't believe the audacity for somebody just to blatantly disrespect a customer like that. Is it possible to give NO stars? I ordered a new custom spa cover and was told it would be delivered and installed as part of the "deal" in about a week. Three weeks later I called and was told they hadn't even ordered it. In fact they had lost the entire order. After recreating the almost $400 order for a "custom" cover, it was delivered a week later. It is TERRIBLE. The cover has bubbles in it at the edges. The two halves of the round cover don't match. The center support, instead of being a piece of covered foam, is a folded piece of the cover fabric. It rocks from side to side as the outside edges are smaller than the inside edge (It does NOT lay flat.) Where the flaps on the outside edge meet (the fold in the cover), one side droops down instead of being level and leaves a gap where insects get in (So far a bee and cricket. I've owned spas for over 20 years and never had insects get in until this lousy cover.). The hold down flaps are longer than the previous covers requiring holes be drilled in the expensive wood around the outside. etc. etc. I told the deliverymen that it wasn't acceptable and asked for a call from the owner. After spending a week trying to get the owner to come out (He kept putting me off - I'm the only one here.) two men show up. They pronounce it "functional" and leave when I go inside. They said they were going to call the boss and when I go back out - they're gone. After FOUR WEEKS with no spa, I filled it. Due to the outside edge of the cover being lower than the inside edge, water runs down to the lowest point and the material on the outside edge is now dark and water soaked and insects get in. It still looks like the two halves were created by two different people and cobbled together. NO NEWS FROM THE OWNER AND NO RESOLUTION after almost two months. I will never set foot in that store again. read more

So my spa was leaking. The prior company I used didn't return my text for 4 days so I looked for another company and found Price Busters Pool & Spa and requested a quote online. Candice called me within a couple of hours and we discussed the issue. She had someone come out the following Monday. It turned out to be a valve and they fixed it. They also suggested getting a new ozonator. I asked them how much it would cost to replace the diverter valves and they quoted me half what the other company quoted me.
