Kind of a bummer we couldn't order room service due to Covid but totally understandable. This would be the best room service food ever! Our first visit to Azur for its Mediterranean cuisine. We didn't realize until we were seated that the restaurant only serves wine and beer. We start with Beef Carpaccio and then the Pear Frisee Salad. Both were highlights of our meal. For entrees we selected the Toasted Gnocchi and Beef Gnocchi. Having read several positive Yelp reviews, we were curious to try both Gnocchis. The Toasted Gnocchi with Pinenuts was fairly bland. Truffles were supposed to be included in the preparation, but we tasted none of that. The Beef was much richer and memorable. The Sesame Fried Cauliflower didn't appear to have any Sesame taste. For dessert, we go with the Apple Tart, which we found the ice cream to be overwhelmed with Cardamon spice. My wife noted the restrooms were messy and not very clean. read more

We were in the keys for a wedding and was told by a local to go to Azur and that we didn't need reservations. The place was empty and the VERY RUDE waiter asked if we had reservation. After much sighing and looking around, he said he didn't really have room. He finally seated our well dressed party of 6 and plopped our plates down and took them before we were finished. read more

We were in one of the local bars and a local recommended this place. We went for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised. The place is nice and cozy and the staff is very nice. We were hoping to have some octopus and short ribs risotto as recommended but, unfortunately, they're only served during dinner. But after eating our lunch, we didn't really miss anything at all. The cabonara Benedict is soooo good and the yellowfin tuna sandwich is seasoned very well and not soggy. The peach mimosa is also great and they give you a big glass! Nobody greeted us when we walked in. We just stood there awkwardly (all 9 of us) got a few looks from servers like we were in their way. Finally someone pointed at a table we were to sit at. The booth seats were higher than the chairs across - so half of our group was 4 inches taller than the rest. The servers need training- to be charging the prices they're charging- servers need to be managed much better. The price you pay and the service you get do not match up. read more

This place is great, at least for breakfast. It's pretty creative in the selection and the food tastes amazing. I've had multiple versions of the Benedict and none disappointed. Plus the portions aren't "tourist-sized" so you won't feel like you need to be rolled back to your house. And the location is off Duval enough you don't get the noise if you need a quieter meal. Their outdoor patio is covered (and shaded at that) so you can enjoy fresh air without sweating all over your food. read more

Great place for brunch! We picked this place since we had a coupon for a free mimosa with entrée purchase. The mimosa tasted great and the food was delicious. I ordered the toasted gnocchi frittata and it was so good. The menu offered a lot of variety and prices were reasonable (I want to come back and try the key lime french toast!) One of the best, most consistant restaurants in Key West. I love breakfast, lunch and dinner here. For dinner, the fresh catch special is always great. The prices are reasonable for the quality. The service I'd excellent and the atmosphere, with both indoor and outdoor seating, is very nice. The chef owner is almost always here. I live in Key West and dine out often. This is one of the only restaurants I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal. With its location off Duval, you don't get the loud drunks or rowdy groups. Our lunch here when visiting Key West was a standout of many of the places we had lunch. We order the specials of Tuna Carpaccio appetizer and Crab Cake BLT. All was so delicious! The crab cakes were the best we've ever had, anywhere! Having never had a Crab Cake BLT, we were intrigued. The crab cakes were so moist and the crab was fresh. The sandwich had a verde mayo, and the traditional bacon, lettuce and tomato. It was served with the choice of regular fries or truffle fries. I picked the truffle fries, while my husband chose the regular fries. We both thought the fries were really good too, especially the truffle fries. This place is definitely a must visit when we get back to Key West. read more

Well this was one for the books.. Waitress had 0 knowledge about any of the wines on the list, and then awkwardly couldn't remember the specials which is fine, it happens. However, after having a conversation about the 2 fish options on the menu we ordered the snapper......We were given the lamb entree. We both ate our entrees 20 mins apart because we had to wait for them to make the correct order. Which is still fine, mistakes can happen. When the right entree arrived the waitress finally came over apologized and said she would take care of it, I guess that means one glass of wine. We were presented the check and charged for the lamb (more expensive). When we realized we came back to the restaurant to ask for the itemized receipt and the waitress scrambled by the computer for a long time. She gave us a completely different check !! The bill was a different than what we were charged. (Interesting how the gratuity was the same that we wrote for the more expensive bill). Instead of just saying she made a mistake she was very rude and basically lying that the check wasn't different before. When we said that it clearly didn't make any sense and said it was sketchy to change receipts after already being charged and closing a check she got very aggressive telling us to leave and we just wanted to pay for what we had. It was so unbelievably uncomfortable how unstable the lady was. We were calmly telling her we just want to pay for what we had. She flipped out and said she voided the entire check and to get out. We asked to please let us just pay for what we have we don't want to void the whole check. She yelled at us to get out of the restaurant and enjoy the "free meal" The server is clearly not well because you could tell the other server/bartender saw what was going on and was very apologetic and felt very uncomfortable. You can tell he was also shocked by her behavior ..Talk about awkward. She stormed into the kitchen instead of acting professional enough to talk calmly and figure out the situation. As people who are visiting we came for my birthday and to have a nice special occasion this will be a night to remember and not in the right way. read more

Azur was a nice place to have a meal. I made a reservation but it turned out that it really wasn't needed. We were one of 3 couples dining that night. The staff were very friendly and all masked and gloved up for everyones protection. We started off the meal with a couple of classes of Riesling from the Mosel Valley (really good) and appetizers of Pulpo a charred octopus and the Bacalao Croquettas. They were both good although Id give the nod to the pulpo in a head to head battle. We then decided to go with the Yellowtail snapper and the Gnocchi with braised beef. the Yellow tail was in a great sauce with shrimp and by far was better than the gnocchi which, in my always humble opinion, needed some seasoning. The beef was tender but the gnocchi, while the texture was great, needed something to make it pop. We washed it down with a bottle of Spanish Rose made from Tempranillo grapes and it was light enough not to take over the fish, yet enough structure to hold up to braised beef. All in all a good meal, and a place that I am willing to put on my regular list when in Key West. read more

My husband is allergic to seafood which makes it difficult to find an upscale place that offers land options. He had the rubbed pork tenderloin with veal reduction. It was cooked perfectly.
