Beautiful atmosphere on the water with lovely sunset views ! Our food was perfectly prepared- golden tile fish, ossobuco for the meat lovers with bread pudding and perfect key lime pie to round out the meal. Our service by Andre could not have been more perfect. He anticipated all our needs in a timely manner and guided us thru the menu with expertise. Much more elegant than the name implies! Very popular for the sunset views so make a reservation as early as possible since available seating during those times fill up quickly

Lovely time! Try to go at sunset if you can, because the view is beautiful. Our reservation wasn't until 7:30, so we caught the sunset at Mallory Square and headed over for drinks at the bar until our table was ready. The inside is so cozy, I wouldn't have mind dining there! My dining companions thought this was the best meal of our trip. We got a variety of plates to share - beets, ahi tuna tacos, crab cakes, salad. But we can't stop thinking about the bread that was served with a garlic manchego butter! The bite of the night!

This was such a great experience for brunch. A few gfs and I came here the other day and when we sat down at our table our menus had the last name of the gf who made the reservation on it! It was such a nice touch to the experience as a whole. Our server was Kim G and she was fabulous. She was attentive and made sure we got to try everything we wanted. Also, before we even ordered any of our small plates, a complimentary plate of seafood and a cinnamon roll were brought to the table!!!! Both plates were delicious and set the tone for the rest of the food. Some of the plates I got I liked more than others, but what's good about the endless tapas style is if I didn't like it it was no big deal, I could just order something else in the next round. Among the better plates was the tart trio, the egg hash and the cheese plate. The ones I didn't enjoy were the squash rings and the fish. Such a great time, can't wait to come back again!! The views were also just so fabulous as we sat outside overlooking the water.

Second time down to the Keys and second time eating here. Both times were fantastic and had great service from Joanne. Wife and I sat outside for sunset and it was beautiful. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience here! The views and vibes were amazing and the food was delicious. Lots of unique flavor combos. Our server Andre was also so nice and a very good waiter. I will say the food was better than their desserts. The crab cake and crispy octopus were amazing. The tres leches and bread pudding desserts were good but I don't know if they were worth those calories. Would definitely go back here and recommend if you visit Key West.

Celebrating a special occasion. Sunset reservation with the romance package to create a more memorable experience. Rose petals on the table plus a bottle of bubbly. The staff was welcoming and friendly. Smiles and congratulations. The waiter gave us a quick tour of the menu with suggestions according to their serving size. We opted for an appetizer and smaller plates in order to leave from for our own dessert sampling. Bc it was a night of sweet indulgence after all. With more of an appetite I would have liked to try one of their fish entrees being that they offered 3 different fish entrees. Perhaps next time. We ordered the crab cake, wild mushrooms and the tender greens. For dessert- the blood orange panna cotta, the dark chocolate tres leches and the Cuban bread pudding. While they were tasty, the tres leches didn't have any semblance of tres leches in any way. It was more of a dark chocolate cake with hint of espresso flavor. And the bread pudding was served cold (accidentally). They did apologize for that and removed it from thebill on their own accord. The experience was memorable and I would recommend this as a place to celebrate.

Had an amazing experience at hot tin roof! The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. They are very open to making substitutions! I forget the name of our server but she was absolutely amazing (she had gorgeous blue hair lol) and took great care of us, also provided us with amazing recommendations!

This has to be one of the best meals we've ever had. We enjoyed the prix-fixe Valentine's Day dinner, and every part of the evening felt special and thoughtfully curated. What truly made the experience extraordinary was our server, Adrianne, who flawlessly made sure our wine glasses were always full and that we had the proper flatware for each course -- an attention to detail that elevated the entire meal. Executive Chef Scott Maurer delivered an exceptional culinary experience. Every dish was beautifully presented, making us feel as though we were dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant. The food runners were equally impressive, ensuring each course arrived perfectly timed and seamlessly coordinated. From start to finish, the service, presentation, and atmosphere were outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Key West. Best place to watch the sunset.

My wife wanted to celebrate her birthday in Key West. So I had heard good things about Hot Tin Roof and it checked off the boxes I wanted to nice enough to be peaceful and romantic, on the water, great view of a key west sunset and good food. Our server was Andrea and she did a very good job. I had emailed ahead to let them know it was my wife's birthday and they had a nice little board on the table that said happy birthday Rebecca. All the food items were pretty good. I question if the beef cheek was actually wagyu, but it was ok, the Mac and cheeses was really good, the brussel sprouts, crabcake, ahi tuna tacos were very good. The buratta was ok, and the key lime pie was nice. I would have liked a little more whipped cream on that pie, and I was hoping they'd write something or bring a candle, but overall it was a nice meal.

Loved the food, the service and the view! We loved it so much that we went to the Hot Tin Roof twice this trip. Both times we got an assortment of small plates that were all excellent. Our servers, Joanne and Kim, made our dining experiences special. There are amazing sunset views that we could even see with the indoor dining option. We will definitely be back!

I'm so glad I found this place! Tucked away in the back of the dock, you definitely need to know that this place exists to find it. It's above bar/restaurant that's on the dock. People recommended this place for brunch but we came here for dinner instead. The dinner was just as great and if you come at the right time you'll be able to see the sun set. Highly recommend a reservation if you're trying to catch the sunset. We didn't have one but we got here right as they open for dinner so got seated outside over looking the waters. The servers here are very nice. They are very attentive and provide excellent recommendations. I got the swordfish special of the day. It was my first time trying swordfish, and it was phenomenal. The firmness of the swordfish meat was well seasoned. The braised ribs were super yummy and tender. Highly recommend this place!

My filet mignon came super overcooked and was dry. I ordered, medium rare and got this service did take a while. View is pretty nice. Bathrooms were clean and waiters were nice. Pretty good dinner spot, but not the best food.

When we were there in July there was a mix of attire - business casual, shorts/tshirts, evening wear.

Going there for dinner in a couple weeks, what was your favorite recommendation for apps, drinks, dinner?

We had the arugula watermelon salad..,fabulous! (I've been trying to recreate it at home because I loved it so much!) We had the scallop risotto for our entree and hands down the best scallops we have ever had!

From the moment we entered the restaurant to the long after time of our departure, she continuously greeted us with excitement, joined us in conversation, and even helped us capture moments in pictures. She really helped make this a memorable experience for us. Now to the food. So I have had Broils in multiple areas of the country. From Maraylamd, Texas and to the Low Country of Charlestin SC, but I have never had as tasty of Broil as I just had at the Yummy Crab in Key West Florida. I mean this place was absolutely amazing! The flavor of every piece of crab, corn, crawfish, shrimp, sasauge and potatoes in the dripping wet cajun sauce served in a bag to retain all that juice, flavor and aroma was all nearly too much to contain. So glad of all the wonderful places on the island we had to eat we chose this place. Thank you Jackie for your outstanding hospitality and service. You are amazing!

So disappointing, I seen that this place had good reviews…read moreso family and I decided to try this place. Plus seaside has to be good and fresh. Well we're a big group we did get seating fairly fast beside them having to out tables together they weren't busy at all. Once we got seating we wait for a good 10 mins or so for menus we had to eventually grab our selves. A couple walked in few minutes after us and got their menu as they sat down Now the boil. The spice they had for the boil had a sweet taste might have been the premade seafood boil seasoning. Thats what it tasted like to me .Wasn't to my liking. Something was eh about it. The fried oysters had a but if a fishy taste no go. I know a lot of places weights the seafood but the portions when they came out it was more like they added more corn and potatoes. For the price definitely wasn't worth it.
